How to find out bug report status or disposition?

Is there someone to contact; or, is there a way to find out the disposition of a bug report which has possibly not been assigned a number yet, or whose subject has been changed (i.e. can't be found in a search) ?
About 3 months ago I submitted a report with the subject, "TrueTypeFont.open() ..." related to Linux JDK 1.5.0 runtime.
Thanks,
Dick

Seems like a search of the bug report submission
queue would be useful.Use this:
http://developers.sun.com/contact/feedback.jsp?referer=http://forum.java.sun.com&category=sdn&mailsubject=Forums%20or%20Community
It's as pointless as any other measure in getting Sun to do what you want. ;)

  • How to find out SSRS report server name

I'm trying to follow the steps for using SSRS web services (http://ssrstutorials.blogspot.com/2012/10/lesson-12-using-ssrs-web-services.html).
    In Step 3:
    Click advanced--> add web reference -- url - http://localhost/reportserver/reportservice2005.asmx
(replace localhost with your report server name).
How do I know what's my report server name?
    Thanks,

    Hi sherri71,
Sorry for that mark an incorrect reply as an answer.
The reply suggested by Akbar is about Instance Name, not report server name. Based on my further research, I find that the Reporting Services server name is the computer name which install
the report server. So we can try to click Start button, right-clicking Computer, and then clicking Properties. Under Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings, you can find your computer name.
If there are any other questions, please feel free to ask.
    Thanks,

  • How to find out which report in taking maximum time in production ?

    Hi,
I have received Early Watch Alert Report from Basis. It has some reports that have been pointed out by SAP that take large amount of DB time. I shall be tuning the code technically and Functionally. Well, the place where i require the help is that How can I see the time that a report or a Function module (Especially from a web service) take after some work has been performaed on it. Report can still can be run, But It is not desirable to run it since it is scheduled and has to be run at that time as an necessary requirement.
Is there any SAP transaction that we can use to see if there are any improvement in the Time of execution of the object.
    Regards,
    Chitwanjit

    Hi Chitwanjit,
STAD and ST03 are your friends.
    - Get in contact with your SAP Basis in order to get an explanation how
to use this tools (if necessary).
    - SAP courses ADM315, BC490 explain these tools
    - search in help.sap.com,
SDN, google, there should be plenty of information available as well.
    Kind regards,

  • How to find out names of reports using a particular view

    hi guys,
i am newbie here, i jsut want to know how to find out which reports are using a particular view
many thanks in advance for your help

If you go to the Properties for the Folder in Discoverer Administrator, there is a Dependents tab that should list any workbooks using the folder. This only works for workbooks saved to the database, so won't help with any created using Discoverer Desktop. If you are gathering statistics and have the The Discoverer V5 EUL business area and its workbooks installed, it can tell you about Folders Used as well. It contains information about queries run whether the workbook is saved to the database or to the file system, but wouldn't contain inforamation about workbooks that had been created but not run.
