How to find out manual deletion of planned orders in APO.

Planned orders are created on multiple bom levels when we call CTP from GATP for sales orders. For particular sales order there is no planned ordere at lower level. Dependent requirement is there which is uncovered.
I want to find  somebody has deleted this planned order manually in apo. How to find out the same?
Regards,
Santosh

Hi Santosh,
If you suspect that the planned order was created but later on deleted manually, there is a cross check you can do to determine that.
In case of MATP, System uses the higher level Planned Order number to create the Dependent Demand at the lower level and only when this dependent demand is covered by a planned order it assigns the corresponding planned order number to it. So if you see the dependent demand number with same  number as the higher level planned order for which it was created, you can be sure that a planned order was not created to cover the dependent demand that you see uncovered.
If the dependant demand number is not same as the planned order at higher level, then the planned order to cover the dependent demand was deleted.
I guess CTP also works the same way. If you're unsure about this, test it out.
Hope it helps.

Mohan

  • How to find out if SQL execution plan is changed proactively using job/grid

    Hello,
Can you help me on How to find out if SQL execution plan is changed proactively using job/grid control?
    Thank you..
    -

The answers so far are supposed to show ways how to see that a plan changed after the fact - that is not really proactive but that was the question.
A way to see a plan change proactively would be to create a SQL Plan Baseline for the SQL statement with the 'good old' plan and then watch DBA_SQL_PLAN_BASELINES for new rows with that SQL_HANDLE which would indicate that a new execution plan was computed - although not yet used.

  • Deletion of Planned Order in APO PP/DS

    Hi All,
I have a question on PP/DS ( IS-Auto ). Suppose if we are deleting the planned orders in APO so what will happen to the concerned PDS. I want to preserve the PDS so that we can use them later.
If we delete the Planned Orders then will the PDS be also deleted ?
    Thanks,
    Prabhat

    Prabhat,
Think of a PDS the same way you would think of a Production Version in ECC.  It is master data, and one or more of these can be assigned to a Material/Plant combination.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm70/helpdata/EN/4d/01be3d1abbe913e10000000a114084/frameset.htm
A Planned order is Transactional data.  Creating/changing/deleting a Planned order has no impact on PDS Master data.  During the creation of a planned order, the system reads the PDS info, and copies selected bits of this master data into the Planned order.  At this point, then, certain parts of the planned order data can be changed.  Such changes generally do not affect the underlying master data.

  • How to find out who deleted the central person ID of a pernr.

    Hi,
I have a pernr 100 whose central person ID is deleted. I would like to know how can i find out who deleted it. Which table gives this information.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Soumya.

It is stored as a relationship in HRP1001 & unless you have table logging turned on for this db table, I don't think you will be able to find out who deleted the Central Person. You can try running the Report RHCDOC_DISPLAY .

  • How to find out who deleted the directory in Unix

    Hi Experts,
In my system some body tampered the directories, and more over some body deleted the bin directory under the /usr/sap/trans in Unix operating system. now i am checking to find out who deleted and for the more logs.
i am unable to find out the user name and deleted directory logs..i know its completely related to the unix level but mean time i am searching for the same.
Any ideas and clues will be heighly appreciated.
    -Srini

To know the OS would have been helpful
First ask the people around you if anybody did it, maybe he is man enough to admit...
Try to find out who logged at the time when the directory was deleted.
    - check the OS syslog (/var/adm/syslog/syslog.log for hp-ux, /var/log/messages for linux)
    - try the last commando to get a list of who logged on when
    - check the command histories of the sidadm, root user, use the history command, or the h alias
    - check if there are scripts running, which regularly delete files
As the trans directory might be NFS mounted to other servers, you might need to do the checks there too.

  • How to find out who deleted the standard table enteries

    Hi,
Somebody has deleted entire KNA1 in one of our systems. Is there any way to find out who deleted the entries?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Kumaran Duraiswamy.

    Hi
Look for help from an ABAPer. Go to SE11 for KNA1, use 'where-used list (ctrlshiftF3) and search for report that begin with Z* or Y* (perhaps LZ* or LY*, ie: function modules). See the ABAP coding if there is any instructions type:
      DELETE kna1 FROM xxx.
Check too if the option &SAP_EDIT in tcode SE16N works in your system (see SAP Note 1420281 - CO-OM tools: SE16N: Deactivating &SAP_EDIT for instance)
    I hope this helps you
    Regards
    Eduardo
PD: I forgot it, if option &SAP_EDIT works in SE16N, check the tables SE16N_CD_DATA and SE16N_CD_KEY.

  • How to Delete stock Planned Order in APO

    Hi,
I'm doing an iPPE model in APO and R/3 ... and while playing around with Repetitive confirmations, I got stuck with 2 Planned orders that can't be fully confirmed, fully reseted or deleted.
I don't have a production order in R/3 because I'm in a repetitive iPPE process.
I can see them in OM19.
I tried RLCDEL & /SAPAPO/DELETE_PP_ORDER but both reports can't see them.
    Any Ideas ?
    Thanks,
    Marc

First get the GUID of the Planned orders from /SAPAPO/OM16. Once you got the GUIDs, To get the GUIDs
In /SAPAPO/OM16, click on 'Orders' tab, enter location and APO order number and execute..you see the GUID for those planned orders
then go to SE38-->/SAPAPO/OM_DELETE_INCON_ORDERS...enter the GUID, planning version, check the boxes and execute..it should delete the planned orders
    Thanks,
    Sai

  • How do I maintain storage location for Planned Orders in APO

    Dear all,
Can you help us in maintaining storage location for planned orders in APO. The storage location from material master need to be updated in product master of APO and the same shall be automatically picked from product master during Supply Network Planning run.
    Material master CIF is live.
We have got the following content error in CIF consistency check. How ever this is nt goging to harm any thing, but we would like to maintain in both R/3 and APO.
    Error:
Plant and storage location in SAP APO: 2004
Plant and storage location in SAP R/3: 2004 FGPA
    Thanks in advance
    Ram Mohan Rao Kolanupaka

Instead of maintaining additional master data, i would rather use CCR user exits to switch off comparison of planned order at storage location level if the APO storage location is blank. This way you would not have to make changes to PPMs everytime a new scale out of the solution happens.
In SE18 check the user exit /SAPAPO/CIF_DELTA3 (interface RELEVANT_FOR_COMPARE_ORDHEAD)
If it is not possible to switch off this comparison then I guess changing master data is the next step. Do explore with a developer though about the first option.

  • How to find out Enhancement details for Sales Order

    Hello,
    Follwing is the scenerio:
As soon as Third Party Sales Order created, Header Billing block gets triggered (from Sales Doc settings in VOV8).
In Sales Order there are 4 items of items:
    1. Hardware Material (Price) with Item Category, say A
    2. Hardware Material (Free-of-Charge) with item category, say B
    3. Service Material (Price) with Item Category, say C
    4. Service Material (Free-of-Charge) with item category, say D
Now there is another billing block, at item level, for Hardware Material (Price) - item cat. A, ONLY.
I checked item cat. in VOV7, and this block is not configured there.
Sales Order saved (with pop-up message - Maintain Serial No. for Material, but as it's third party Order, stock is not in Inventory, so no Serial number at this point of time). PR triggered upon saving the Order. from PR, PO gets generated, and then MIRO.
Now, as vendor Invoice received with Stock details (Manufacturer's Serial No.), we go to VA02 and maintain Serial No. (Extra --> Serial No.) for all 4 types of material (Pls note that Billing block is for Hardware Price Material, but we need to maintain Serial No. for all 4 types of material) and save order.
As soon as, serial no. maintained, item level billing block gets removed for Hardware (price) material, automatically.
I need to understand how this functionality has been achieved?
More precisely how and where i can see the technical details, like What program is being developed, which user-exit is being used etc...
    Thanks.

    Hi Sumitra,
Since the system exit handler has to call your BADI  go to SE24 and display
    CL_EXITHANDLER
Chose method get_instance and set a break point.
And, then press F8, so it will show all the Badi's.
    Regard's,
    Shivesh Ranjan.
