I have published several free iBooks but have no idea if anyone else beside me has downloaded any of them in the 32 stores where it was supposedly published. Judging from what I have to go through before I download my book to my iPad it's not easy to find the book and then it's quite slow to download it. Anyone wants to share his or hers experience?

First open iBook Author.
Top RIGHT of page you will see four icons, the first a blue circle with " i " opens the Inspector.
Clicking that open a options box, click the first icon, looking like a blank page, which opens the options =Author, Title, keywords, comments The keywords you enter there are helpful in finding your book. There are other more knowledgable than me who can perhaps explain better.
This is part answer to you saying your book is hard to find in searches.
Same applies to CATAGORIES when you are filling in the iTunes Producer package details, think about which are relevant and include any and ALL that you think fit your book content.

Actually, there is a Nik/Nikon connection — but I am pretty sure it is irrelevant to the OP's question. The connection is that Capture NX2 was written as a joint venture between Nikon and Nik. (The name similarity is a coincidence.)
Capture NX2 is a cool program that incorporates the features of Nik's Viveza and Nikon's Raw processing engine, along with some other powerful image adjustment features. It provides, like Aperture, a losses workflow. Unlike Aperture, the adjustments (Edit Steps in C-NX terminology) are saved in the original NEF file along with the un-altered raw data. Multiple versions can be saved in a single NEF.

How to find out if your BB line has been capped?

Is there somewhere I can go to find out if my BB line has been capped? I had an email form BT about a month ago warning me I might exceed my download limit. In the end I did not exceed my limit for the month. But it was shortly after that my BB speed was cut in half and has remained that way ever since. I have had 2 engineers out who can find nothing wrong with the exchange, the line or the equipment in my house. Despite at least 3 SNR resets, my IP profile has been fixed at 750k for the whole time. My IP profile was 2000k or more before the speed was cut.
I just wonder if there is anyway to tell if your BB line has been throttled.

If there is a local noise issue as you suggest, How would one detect such a thing? You can't just switch everything off in a house and leave it for 3 to 5 days to see if the BB speed increases. Surely the tests the the engineers did when they came out to see me would have detected any noise on the line when they tested the line.
The thing I find most frustrating is BT don't even seem able to admit I have any sort of problem at all. The fact I have had a stable connection for years and then suddenly it drops by half overnight seems not to be considered a problem. I think I might just change to another ISP. I really don't think it can be any worse than this.

Photos taken with your iphone are not part of the sync process at all.
You should be importing them as you would with any digital camera.

is there any possibility to find out the position in a source, in which a deployed application hangs?
For example, there is an endless loop in an application, which is already deployed. In runtime the application hangs in this loop. How can I findout in which line the application hangs?
In other words, how can I see the stack of a certain process,for example, http_workerx?

With SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment (CE) 7.1 SP3 it is very easy.
1.) Open the SAP Management Console
2.) Go to AS Java Threads tree node - you will see all the threads that are currently started on the system
3.) Check for threads that are colored in red - it takes about 30 sec the system to detect that an HTTP thread (http_workerx), as it is in your case, is hanging/executing endless loop.
4.) Right click on the hanging thread (colored in red) and pick 'Callstack' from the pop-up menu
5.) In the new window you will see the stack-trace showing what exactly this hanging thread is doing at the moment.
With the previous versions (or SPs) you need to apply a little bit more technical skills for the same result. (1) you need to do produce thread dump of the server that is suspected to have hanging thread and (2) to analyze this thread dump (check what the threads in Running state are doing). As it is in your case with the HTTP worker threads, their names are also printed in the thread dump, so you can focus only on them.

How could i get all the table names from a database(for a schema) which has data 'KST6490' in one of the fileds in the table.There are many tables with this

One approach would be to create a procedure which retrieves the name of all tables in the schema using the user_tables view. Then use the user_tab_columns view to get all the column names and types. If the type is varchar2, then dynamically create a sql statement which runs a query on that column using the value which you are looking for. You would need two cursor loops for this approach: one for tables and one for columns. This approach requires good PL/SQL programming skills.
Alternately, many query tools, such as Golden, provide a search capability on query results. Just do a select * from the table and search on the results. This would need to be done table by table and the results would have to fit in the memory available to the tool.
Alternately, you can write table contents to a text file on the a server and then search the text file using operating system tools such as grep. This would require good OS scripting skills.

How to fix out of sync devices which have used 2 apple Ids?

I have been working with the iCloud help desk over the last couple days on this but let me explain the situation:
I have 2 apple IDs. one I use for iTunes access/purchases, etc. it happens to be my day to day email. the other ID happens to be associated with my mac.com email which I use for separate email purposes.
I use an ipadair, iPhone 4, mac. all are updated with most current IOS release.
The issue is the lack of synchronization between the devices. I primarily enter my contacts, calendars, reminders via my desktop mac/apple apps, i.e. ical, contacts and reminders. However when I am away from my desktop i enter via my ipadair typically. The help desk did help and we were able to sync all of them via the Mail/Contacts/Calendars setups for new entries, rather than iCloud settings and any activated syncing via iTunes. I know that there is a way to get this sorted/combined without losing any data.
What I have discovered during my discussions with the help desk, if we take the contact lists as an example, is that I have a set of contacts entered separately and perhaps synced on my iPad that are not showing up anywhere else, for example the name Mia on my iPad does not show up on my iPhone or Mac contact list.
the record counts are different, Mac contacts have 1459, iCloud apple ID 1 has 1386 and iCloud apple ID2 has 1434(each essentially are named after an email address; 1 of which is connected to my iTunes account, and although I cannot tell how many records are on my ipadair in contacts, I know that some of those contacts are different and have not synced across to my iPhone or Mac apps.
So the question is how to get them all synced(iCloud apple ID 1(primary), iCloud apple ID 2, iPad contacts, Mac contacts without losing any contacts....i'm less concerned about duplicates, because I can manually delete dupes if they occur. Just trying to get to one method of syncing....noting that when I set these up originally i used iTunes syncing and it seemed to add duplicates never was in sync and all contact list were messed up...i am sure that is because of the 2 iCloud IDs, but I do not know how to fix it so I do not lose any contacts/can clean from one source and also of course utilize syncing for calendar, reminders, etc. retaining my separate apple ID for ITunes and the other for all this synchronization.

You need to:
1) Go to appleID.apple.com, log in with [email protected], and then change the AppleID/Primary Email back to [email protected] Sign out.
2) Delete the icloud account on the iphone. Enter the password when prompted.
3) Go back to appleID.apple.com, log in with [email protected], then change the AppleID/primary email back to [email protected]

My computers have been stolen and now I need to set up home share on the new ones, but I can't because all the home shares have been used. I can't get on the old computers, obviously, so can't deauthorise them. Is there some way I can do it from iTunes store/account without being on the actual computers?

If you go to itunes store select Account from the quick links on the right. You can then deauthorise all computers.
Then reauthorise the computer(s) you have left by clicking on Store Authorise this computer in itunes for each computer.

We have 3 computers that have been authorized to home share but we cannot see eachothers library since updated to the latest version. Is there something I am misssing?

We have 3 computers that have the latest itunes version and now we cannot see eachothers library anymore. All of them are authorized. I unauthorized, reauthorized, in both the store and itunes to no avail. Is this just the way the new version is designed or is there something we are missing? I recently wiped the computer clean of all Itunes songs/files after several years of my son managing his itouch on it, so we are all clean of previous files. What is the deal?

It most definitely is the browser that is causing most of the problems. I have used Firefox so long, I can't even remember. Maybe since its beginning. But today is a sad day. I gave up on it. I can't accomplish anything and end up spending hours troubleshooting. I see I am not alone. I am so sick of it "not responding." It's simply not worth it to spend so much time trying to make the thing work, so I can actually do something. Installed, removed, reinstalled numerous times, and I can't fix your software on my Win 7 Pro machine. No problems with IE or Chrome. So. as much as I hate Google Update, Chrome has won the test. Sad, sad day for me to lose Firefox, but it just does not work on the Win 7 machine. I don't have the same issues with the XP machine and have exactly all the same add-ons. Keep it up developers and you will have no Win 7 users at all.

About De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.
