How to find out the right Serial Number of my unit

M30x-118:
Serial number from back side became unreadable - washed out. Is it possible to find this info somewhere else?
Not yet registered.

Hello Irikov
In my opinion there are no many different ways how to do this. You can try to contact your local dealer. I am pretty sure that he has noticed the serial number of all units that he sales.
I have found a nice tool (system analyzer) that maybe can show you the serial number of your unit. It called Sandra professional 2005. This program is not for free but you can check if there is some trial version.
The safest way is to contact service partner. They can readout the serial number that is noticed on, I think, motherboard.
Bye

• Command to find out the cas serial number

HI,
need some urgent help
Anyone knows the command to find out what is the serial number of my CAS ?
The device is in a different location , so cant check physically.
IS there a show version for CAS ?
regards
Raj

Glad that worked Raj.
The right serial number should be the one tied to the Product Name "Proliant..."
For example, you may also want to use the following alternative:
[root@cca-3140-cas ~]# dmidecode | more
Handle 0x0001, DMI type 1, 25 bytes.
System Information
Manufacturer: HP
Product Name: ProLiant DL140 G2
Version: 419758-001
Serial Number:
UUID:
Wake-up Type: Power Switch

• How can I find out the intended serial number to install elements 13 if the number on the disk sleeve gets rejected?

the installation routine says the serial number is on the sleeve and should be 24 symbols of letters and numbers, but the number there doesn't match 24 symbols and it gives me a wrong number rejection window. I'll have to get a refund for this software purchase if Adobe can't get me registered with some kind of service. Is that what I should do?

if that first link didn't help you find your serial number, is there a 'redemption code' in your box? Redemption Code Help
but make sure you check that first link, first.
if neither link helps find your 24 numeric serial number (6 groups of 4 digits), contact adobe support -

Hi gurus,
Please help me find out what the http port number for the XML DB repository on the database server is. I tried the default 8080 and got an error saying it is no longer valid. I re-installed the database a couple of times and I don't remember that I had to enter a new port number.
Thanks.

• How to find out the right task in 2 tasks with same task title

Hi there,
I set 3 main tasks ,A/B/C, every main task have 3 sub-tasks, (code,test, deploye), all test jobs assign to 1 person.
while our staff open his 'my assignment' in tasks , he find 3 same tasks named 'Test'.
Is there any possible that show main task's information in task name ? Or is there any solution to differentiate these 3 tasks?

You can identify Sub task by adding
Task Hierarchy field in existing view
On the Quick Launch, click Server Settings.
On the Server Settings page, click
Manage Views. A list of views will appear.
Modify My Work OR Timesheet view and add
Task Hierarchy field in existing view. With the help of new field you can easily
identify Sub tasks.
Hope this will help you.

• How to find out the Idoc number triggered for any material transfer frm SAP

Hi Folks,
Can any body let me know How to find out the Idoc number triggered for any material transfer frm SAP?
Do we have any navigation for that in MM03?
Thanks,
SPMD.

Hi Shabbirmdpasha,
If you know the user name then you can find the idoc numbers created by that user. But the problem here is it not only gives the material it gives all the idocs created by that user. Go to SE16 --> table name EDIDS --> here you can fill the approximate date and in UNAME give the userid and execute. This will give all the idocs created by that user. I know it is only a partial solution.
Also would suggest to post the same in abap forums for more answers:

• How to get the right Serial Number during Pick Release

Please we need your help to get the right serial number => Auto-Allocate on YES, Pick Confirm with NO.
A problem is occurring during the Pick Release process. Custom code has been added to the hook INV_DETAIL_SERIAL_PUB to provide the Pick Release process with the serial number to pick for the item being pick released. The hook works and the Pick Release process picks the correct (specified) serial number. However, at some point later in the Pick Release process the lot number is chosen and the process seems to pick the first lot number it finds available for the item – it does not take into account the serial number provided by the hook. This causes the Pick Release process to fail when the lot number chosen is not the lot number linked to the serial number. Has anyone else encountered this same issue?
An example:
Item ABC123
Serial SER001 – Lot LOT001
Serial SER002 – Lot LOT002
Serial SER003 – Lot LOT003
Item ABC123 is being pick released.
The customised hook provides the Pick Release process with serial SER002.
The Pick Release process correctly uses SER002, but chooses lot LOT001.
thanks!
Francisco

Hi,
I guess you have added the code at slightly different place.
Pick Release Process will always allocate lots based on Inventory Picking Rule (or WMS Pick Strategy if you are using WMS).
So if you want to override that you much first delete the MTLT record (inv_trx_util_pub.delete_lot_ser_trx), then insert MTLT with your Lot number (inv_trx_util_pub.insert_lot_trx)..then insert MSNT (inv_trx_util_pub.insert_ser_trx) with your serial number.
Ensure that transaction_temp_id on MSNT should match with SERIAL_TRANSACTION_TEMP_ID on MTLT table.
Thanks,
Hrishi

• How do find out the number of rows

how to find out the number of rows of as all tables in a schema with one sql statement

Hi,
What u can try doing is...
declare
numrows number;
begin
for i in (select tname from tab)
loop
execute immideate 'select count(1) into numrows from ' | | i.tname ;
dbms_output.put_line(numrows);
end loop;
end;
Hope this helps. This works only in 8i. So if u need to do the same in 8.0 u have to use dbms_sql pkg.
The logic is same but the way u open ands execute the code is a bit diff.
Best Of Luck.
