How to find out the service that consumes a given port?

If we want to check if a given port is open on a given host, we do
telnet hostname port-number
If this given port is open, that means a service is consuming this port. How to identify which
service is consuming this open port?

Please check the file /etc/services.
In this file you will find that which port is occupied by which services. This file contains all services details (OS+ SAP also).

Give transaction code and in menu(system- status), double click onthe Program name.
Check in TOP INCLUDE - you will find all the tables related to that transaction.

How to find out the service conformation details based on service order

Hi.
I open the CRMD_ORDER
In this i open a service order.
I got all the information of that particular service order number in the CRM_ORDER_READ program.
But i unable to find out conformation details of that particular service order.
In CRM_ORDER_READ we have DOC_FLOW. But in that i did not find Conformation data. like Conformation number.
Can anybody explain me regarding finding the conformation details based on the service order.
I want service conformation number based on the service order.
Is there any other function module to get all the details of service order with the service conformation also.

Hi Krishna,
You can get the confirmation order guid based on service order number from CRM_ORDER_READ.
Under ET_DOC_FLOW structure where OBJTYPE_B=BUS2000117 ,OBJKEY_B=Confirmation guid.
Then from guid you can get the confirmation number.

Yesterday and Today , my database have a lot of archivelog files. So much so that I set remove archive every 2 hours in crontab. I don't know the reason.
I just set audit the user but I set noaudit this user later.
I made the AWR for 2 days but I didn't find any unsual things.
Somebody please help me because my database is a production

How to find out the view that calls a pop-up window?

Hi,
The BP_HEAD_SEARCH component is a pop-up called by several other components (Contact, Activity, etc).
So I need to customize it in according to which view called it (BP_HEAD or BT126H_APPT, for instance). I see OUTER_REP_VIEW attribute, however it has several protected attributes and, some times, it doesn't work because it hasn't parent attribute filled.

Let me explain again:
Several views around the system use the BP_HEAD_SEARCH component to search up a partner. The most of them use the SearchHelp view and the configuration is object and subobject as . The component usage is always CUAccountValueHelp.
For example, in the Activity (company field) or in the Organization - Relationship assignment block, if you use the pop-up to search a partner, the configuration is the same.
But I need to know who called the pop-up: Activity module (BT126H_APPT) or Organization - Relationship (BPData)?

There is no such list of what is downloaded to each phone except in the backup. So if you have a recent backup of each phone you should be able to find an app that reads the backup files and would tell you what list is saved of the content on each phone.

             The control would be something like this for navigation in Get_p_xxx method u mention as link and u mention a event name which gets triggered on the click of this hyperlink. So your GET_P_XXX method would have the following code:

I think there is no direct way to determine what tablespace is utilized by a patch from the README file. You could check the content of the patch file and see what modules are affected (assuming there are changes and the database level), then query DBA_USERS (DEFAULT_TABLESPACE column) for those schemas which are updated by a patch. Or, you could check the size of the tablespaces before and after applying the patch and you will determine what tablespaces have been utilized (provided that the application services are down, and none of the application users is connected to the application).

As I am handling the Solaris 9 Server remotely.
As in last week the server has stopped to respond suddenly, we have tried to ping, ssh which was not working. As ultimately we have asked the Data Centre Team to hard reboot the same, to resolve the issue.
In the same ref I would like to know how we come to know the reason, what caused to reboot the same, i.e . any log file, etc..
I have check /var/adm/messages, but not found any detail for the same.

To get such corefiles analyzed,
you would need to use your service contract and log a support case with Sun.
They have the special software tools to do that.

It stores all the final queries in work rep table i.e "SNP_SESS_TXT_LOG" and the column is "TXT".
Here u can find all the ODI bkp process queries.Pls specify the SESS_NO for purtivular task u want to check which u can get this in ODI operator.
I dont think so that it will keep the substituted value(because its implicit and temporary process) but it will keep all the default values in the table SNP_VAR_SESS and the column is "DEF_V".
