How to find out the unit of Field object?

Dear Friends ,
I Placed 4 fields in report . Just i want to get the position of field object in report using vb.net code .
In report i selected the field and click f4 button , property window is open , in that its showing Top = 390 , left = 295 .
In which unit the values are showing , According to that i want to change the position dynamically .
Note : I am using VS 2010 and Sap Crystal report version for VS , SP6.

In twips.. which are 1440th of an inch.

U mean u want to know at runtime?
Get the output from ur proxy as a string, count the number of "<" characters and divide it by 2. :-P
Of course, you'll have to treat the header fields separately.

hi,
Go to transaction ST05,Click activate trace with filter,Give the transactio name as cj31,Go to the transaction and navigate to the place where the particular field is present, then again go to st05 ,Deactivate the trace and display the trace.
Now u can see how the data is fetched ,U can even go to display mode of the same transaction cj33

How to figure out the properties of field/object ??

I have field (say, its name is field_1) in my_form and i am coloring yellow by using below code of initialization event:
this.ui.oneOfChild.border.fill.color.value = "255,255,191"; (Actually, just for differentiating / tracing back purpose here am assigning this yellow color to this field, you can suggest me any thing else that marks / tags this field (i can not populate a value, bcz its visible to user), so that in the CHANGE event of this field, again i want to check/get/know that whether this field is tagged/marked or not)
fine. But, because of some/below reason, i need to find out its color by using JavaScript, pls. let me know how to figure out its color is as yellow by using JavaScrit?
Reason: If field_1's color is YELLOW (or you suggested any tag/mark as said in the above in red text), then i have to make HIDE the field_2
Field_0's position is extreme left, Field_1's position is middle and the Field_2's position is exterme right of the page.
I guess, i hv only one option of finding out color, hence am looking forward for JavaScript to find out the color of a field in question

Also, pls. let me know the JavaScript that How can i make HIDE a check box for that COMLETE session (i mean, starting from launching the form in the browser until he closes the window/browser/tab/form), i guess, this idea also workes for my requirement, ( i want to put this code in the docReady event) .....no matter/what ever code is existing there in any event of that field level

Hi,
If you want to give a visual indicator to the user, then colouring the field yellow is probably a good approach.
However if you just want to keep track on the field, then you could test the field's value (.rawValue) and take appropriate action. In addition you can also attach a variable to an object using the <desc> element. It is a bit involved but you can find an example here: http://assure.ly/x1QObn.

Diff between JSP in $HTML_TOP and corresponding PROD_TOP/html (like $IBE_TOP/html for ISupport Files)
Any file that you see differing between $HTML_TOP and $PROD_TOP/html are Customized.
Database Objects:
You can look at the CREATE TIME. All seeded objects would have the same CREATE TIME. Any modofication would overwrite the CREATE TIME.
Note that one pitfall here is that of Objects created by a Patch applied after the intial Install.
I have no clue how you would identify the Workflows and Reports.

at least you need to know the application you are talking about. Then you can goto that particular area and evaluate the content (cubes, infoobjects, infosources, datasources). It will surely give you an idea of the fulfilment of your requirements by the content.

Hi,
go to transaction WE30 and give the corresponding IDoc type and enter. Then you will get all segments for that IDoc type then double click on segment. A popup box will come in that it will show a check box whether it is a mandatory segment or not. And segment editor button will give all the field details.

How to find out the max/min value of one field corresponding to a second field in HANA through graphical way.

Hi,
I am trying to find out the latest delivery date(EINDT) for each purchasing document (EBELN) through graphical way.
The view contains other fields apart from the above mentioned two fields.
When only the two fields (EBELN, EINDT) are there, then in semantics, I can select 'Max' as aggregation to get the maximum value for each document.
If I do like this, then I need to join more than 3 views and also so many joins in calculation view. Taking so much time for data preview.
Hence , please help me in getting the solution while the view contains other fields also.

But more than two fields are there with different values, then let me know how to find out the max/min value of a particular filed corresponding to the 2nd field with other fields also should be in the output.
