How to find out value of a shipment in SAP?

Hello experts,
If I want to view the "value" of a delivery document, what are my options? From what I understand:
1) Go back to Sales Order and find value. This can be tedious as if SO has 100 items and delivery only has 50, it would be a pain to have to find and add vales of each line item that is being delivered
2) Create a pro-forma invoice. However, this can't be created, at least the way it is setup as of now, if PGI has not been done?
So, if i want to see what is the value of a current delivery document - how can I see??

Hi Akhshat,
After going through all the discussions, if you don't want to go for any enhancements to pull down the net value in delivery document, alternatively you can do the following to know the net value of Delivery document which is not billed.
In VKM4, document displayed is the delivery document and in the output section, there is a column name"Credit value" and the value displayed in this section is as follows:
Credit value
Specifies the value of the open items.
In the order, this value is
the quantity not yet delivered
the quantity not yet billed
In the delivery, this value is
the quantity not yet billed
Examples
Order
Item    Quantity   Price
10      10 PC     10 * $10 = $100
In a schedule line, 6 pieces have been delivered. In another schedule line, 4 pieces are still open.
Credit value = 4 * $10 = $40
Delivery for the first schedule line
Item        Quantity
10          6 PC
This item has not yet been billed.
Credit value = 6 * $10 = $60.
Hope, it suits your scenario and you can ask your accounting team to look this section for the net value of the delivery document. Suggest you to please test your cases before advicing.

What do you mean by workflows "related" to another workflow? if you mean calls and called-by you can get it out of the underlying tables, is that what you want? Same for the latest version, but only in the current system, I wouldn't know how to do it for different SAP versions.
For a particular workflow you can see which other workflow(s) (and tasks) it calls in tx SWDM.

Go to transaction ST05,Click activate trace with filter,Give the transactio name as cj31,Go to the transaction and navigate to the place where the particular field is present, then again go to st05 ,Deactivate the trace and display the trace.
Now u can see how the data is fetched ,U can even go to display mode of the same transaction cj33

How to find out the max/min value of one field corresponding to a second field in HANA through graphical way.

Hi,
I am trying to find out the latest delivery date(EINDT) for each purchasing document (EBELN) through graphical way.
The view contains other fields apart from the above mentioned two fields.
When only the two fields (EBELN, EINDT) are there, then in semantics, I can select 'Max' as aggregation to get the maximum value for each document.
If I do like this, then I need to join more than 3 views and also so many joins in calculation view. Taking so much time for data preview.
Hence , please help me in getting the solution while the view contains other fields also.

But more than two fields are there with different values, then let me know how to find out the max/min value of a particular filed corresponding to the 2nd field with other fields also should be in the output.

The best source to get all the ports you have is the Context Files.
All ports are defined in the Context Files through "AutoConfig Variable". You can get the list of those variables by referring to the following note under "What is the port pool? What if I want to give a specific value to a Server Port?"

From the above, can one tell what C library I am linking to on the Solaris systems? If not, how can one tell? How do I know the exact location of the C library I am using?
On the Linux/x86 system, I can use gnu_get_libc_version() to find out the version of glibc I am supposedly using. But it does not work when I compiled the identical C program using gcc on the Solaris 9/UltraSparc and Solaris 10/x86 systems. If I can use gnu_get_libc_version() , does that mean for sure that my C program links to glibc? On the other hand, if the linker reports that gnu_get_libc_version() is not found, does that mean for sure that my C program is not linked to glibc?
Is there a function on the Sun libc similiar to gnu_get_libc_version()?

Of these, the libc and libm, libraries are linked by the CC driver by default." If one wants to link to the glibc library, how to override the default? How to find out the default? Is it in some environ variable? If one changes the CC driver to gcc, does the default remain the Sun libc? And if one compiles explictly using gcc, i.e. "gcc myprog.c", is the default C library the Sun Library, or glibc?
gnu.org has a (web page for the) glibc manual but I am not able to find a Sun C Library Manual. Is there one?

I'll discuss only the Sun C compiler here. For questions about gcc, look in the gcc manual, or try a gcc forum.
Run the command "ldd" on an executable file or shared library, and it will report the shared libraries that it will link to, based on any runpath in the file, and on LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Example: % echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH
LD_LIBRARY_PATH: Undefined variable

% ldd a.out
        libc.so.1 =>     /lib/libc.so.1
        libm.so.2 =>     /lib/libm.so.2

It stores all the final queries in work rep table i.e "SNP_SESS_TXT_LOG" and the column is "TXT".
Here u can find all the ODI bkp process queries.Pls specify the SESS_NO for purtivular task u want to check which u can get this in ODI operator.
I dont think so that it will keep the substituted value(because its implicit and temporary process) but it will keep all the default values in the table SNP_VAR_SESS and the column is "DEF_V".

To know the Parameter Id of any field in a transaction ,
you just press F1 onthe particular field then in technical settings under Field data
you can see the PARMATER ID.
So if you check like this you can see 'BLN' as parameter id for Document number in FB03

Get filename from path :
gv_full_path_string = gv_full_path.
CALL FUNCTION 'CH_SPLIT_FILENAME'
    EXPORTING
      complete_filename = gv_full_path_string
    IMPORTING
      extension         = gv_file_ext
      name              = gv_filename.
CONCATENATE gv_filename '.' gv_file_ext INTO gv_filename.
p_file = gv_filename.

             The control would be something like this for navigation in Get_p_xxx method u mention as link and u mention a event name which gets triggered on the click of this hyperlink. So your GET_P_XXX method would have the following code:
CASE iv_property.

Now you have to create a method as EH_ONEXAMPLE at your IMPL class and within which you would give an outbound plug method. Within the outbound plug the target data would be filled in the collection and window outbound plug would be triggered.

Why? I can see no good reason for this. I think it's a good idea to have stuff like this
coded in only one placeI don't like your argument for compulsory using triggers for sequences for exactly the same reason as you, ie that I like to keep my code in one place. If I'm reading some pl/sql code which uses a sequence I like to see the fact that the sequence is used in the pl/sql code, rather than to check to see if theres a trigger on the table and then see which sequence that uses.
