My phone was stolen and it was not hooked up through icloud. is there anyway to find it or disable it?

No. Report it to the police and your insurance company. Take precautions to change passwords and notify your credit card companies to issue new cards.

My girlfriend has lost her iPad and I'm trying to help her locate it. She has the Cloud and Find My iPhone, which is working fine, but I'm not sure if we can add her iPad remotely. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thx-

had my iphone stolen yesterday by "mother" and young daughter. Do i have anyway of getting this back? Tried the Find My Phone app and it was disconnected.

If Find My iPhone doesn't show a location, then there is no way to trace the iPhone. Notify the police and your cell service provider, and change any passwords for any online accounts you may have used from your iPod (the iTunes Store, for instance).

No. If you did not install any tracking mechanism prior to loss, then it cannot be tracked.
For the new computer you can use the tracking provided by iCloud called Find My Phone or Find My Mac.

How to find my phone

My iPhone 4S was stolen on February 11, 2012 Find my phone already installed. I sent passcode lock and message.
February 12, 2012 I received GPS Location again for a minute and lost until now.
My question is:
If phone connected with iTunes to restore it. I think someone need my unlock code.
Can IMEI/Serial or other will be able to track whether any appleID actived with my phone?
I've got last found map, box and all ID on the label.

This case... My friend is a police and he taking care of it.
We think the theif they already wipe my data because my phone never located any more. Then we just need to know can thai police get some information from apple about my phone. We got IMEI we know apple can get IMEI from iTunes and apple also know billing address of apple id that use on my phone.

Who unlocked the device? Who told you it was unlocked? Where did you purchase this device? Is it new or used? You say it is not activating, what does it do when you try and activate it? Do you see any messages? If so, what are they?

Solution: How to find the phone signal in fringe areas

This is not so much a question but a solution I accidentally found.
If you are in a weak signal area and the phone is stuck on "searching" or says "no signal" and you need to get it to find that phone signal all you need to do is push the phone shut off button on the top of the phone by holding it down until the shut down screen appears, but don't move the slider to shut down the phone.
Next, wait a few seconds and the phone signal will show up. In really fringy areas you may need to try twice.
There is no question that this phone is much more able to get weak signals than my 3GS.

1) from upper menu, select the "Environment" to :- Business blueprint
2) then select any folder on the left-hand-side
3) Now, click on 'Structure' tab
....and now, follow the steps as answered by you.
Also, after you have opened up the "History" dialog box ..... click on the "show scope info' ...... it will give you the entire change log.

IF you set up find my iphone on the iphone BEFORE it was stolen AND it has not been restored by the thief, then you may be able to find it and wipe it using icloud.
Otherwise, there is nothing to do but report it to the police and change your passwords.

How to keep stolen phone in Lost mode

Hi,
So sadly some jerk have stolen my gfs phone. And we have tracked it all the way to his house and all that jazz. Sadly cops won't do anything about it, despite us knowing the exact location of the phone (he also stole her wallet).
So we have put the phone in lost mode, and the theif is trying to wait us out we believe.
Next step is getting a replacement phone for her, but how do we do that and keep the one in lost mode? I mean the least we can do is keeping the idiot from using it.
If we just do a restore of the backup it will override the old one in icloud devices, wont it?

If the stolen iPhone had iOS 7 on it, then the Activation Lock will block attempts by the thief to restore the iPhone. If it had iOS 6 or earlier on it, there's nothing anyone can do to prevent the thief from restoring the iPhone. Setting up a new iPhone and restoring it from a backup of your old one will have no effect on the stolen iPhone.
