How to find the Ranges for a field ?

Hello All,
 Can anyone tell me how to find the ranges for a field.
1, i.e say I want the Ranges Structure for the field LIFNR.
 The ranges structure for this is "RANGE_LIFNR".
 This I used in my Program since I know it previously.
 But now I want the ranges structure for the field VBELN (Delivery Document).
 I don't know what is it !!!!!
2, Is there any procedure to know the ranges structure for a particular field ?

Hi Deepu,
Using 'Where used list' you can able to find out RANGES tables.
For VEBLN range table is --> CRM_AC_ASSIGN_VBELN
If you using a program defined as shown below.
DATA: r_vbeln type ranges of vbeln.
The above statement also creates ranges structure in Runtime.
Procedure finding range table structures
go to SE37 -> Enter domain or dataelement value
Go to where used list --> search for 'Structures'
After getting all structure --> Click 'SEARCH' butoon in tool bar --> Search for 'RANGES' word
You can get all ranges tables in the search window

How to find the workflow for Change Request for the PO's

Hi All,
We have a PO which is pending and we can't receipt it again nor make payment on this. After checking the Approval history for that PO we found that the change request has been made. The change request was to change the amount to be paid to R39196 instead of R58237.00. We don't know where to check the workflow for the change request to identify the cause.
what i need to know is how to find the workflow for that change request? The other workflows can be checked using the po_header_id for the PO's but i am confused with the change request workflow

For 11.5.10.2 run this query to determine the keys to search on:
Select wf_item_type, wf_item_key from APPS.po_change_requests where document_type = 'PO' and Document_num = 'put-PO-number-here'
Then use the keys returned by the query to look up the Workflow in
Workflow Administrator Web Applications / Administrator Workflow / Status Monitor
Search using the results returned in fields "Type Internal Name" and "Item Key" in Status Monitor
The query for change requests on a specific Requisition would be:
Select wf_item_type, wf_item_key from APPS.po_change_requests where document_type = 'REQ' and Document_num = 'put-Req-number-here'

how to find the Extracstructure for 0PLANT_ATTR for RSAP0001 for EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002 ?
I need to extend the Datasource 0PLANT_ATTR with RSAP0001 in EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002.
In Table ROOSOURCE I do not have an entry for 0PLANT_ATTR.
How can I identify the extractstructure for 0PLANT_ATTR ?

Hi Martin
Go to RSA6 and do a find for Plant attr and from there you will find the extract structure: BIW_T001WS.
You can add the fields here and then using CMOD/Exits you can write the code to populate the data.

How far is the range for wireless mighty mouse?

I've checked the specs, I've read the reviews. Haven't been able to find the range for mighty mouse.
I would like wireless mouse/keyboard use about 12 feet away from my Powerbook (using a flat panel tv from the sofa). The keyboard specs say 33 feet, but not sure about the mouse... Any guidance/suggestions?

I found a review that said it was about 30 feet

How to find the patches for perticular concurrent program. suppose for one concurrent program we create the patch and applied now i want know the which patch applied for perticular concurrent program through back end.

Query the concurrent program in Sysadmin responsibility.
Note the concurrent executable.
Query the concurrent executable in Sysadmin.
Note the file name.
If it is a package, open the package in TOAD and note down the file name.
If it is a report/form, open it in form developer and note down the file name.
Go to patch find screen in metalink. In the advanced search screen, enter the file name and you will see patches that contain it.

The concept of BOM for finished components are defined in terms of semi finished goods. Hence, routing of a component from raw materials can not be seen directly in system through standard report.
But users need to have the details of a routing of a component from raw material in one report. To provide the details in single report, development is required.
With this report users can see the routing from raw material till component in one single report.
Assumption
BOM is maintained for a component with all related semi finished components till raw material properly.
Material Number: MARA MATNR   - Multiple selection option should be there (Mandatory)
Plant: AFRU WERKS      - Single selection parameter (Mandatory)
If procurement type is E or X, system has to check the routing through CA03.
If procurement type if F, leave this field as blank

I have an urgent requirement where I ned to find the names of BW Datasources, created for the given table names.
Both the tables and Datasources are in BW system only. I can see the table in SE11 but I am unable to find its associated Datasources in the 'Where Used List'.
Is there any method ?

Check this thread on how to find the DS.
I have the field name, please help me find the data source.
Once you identify your DS you find which all Data targets are fed by trying to see the " Show data flow" in RSA1 for this data source.

I have a jsp page in JTT(JTF) framework on which an UPDATE button exists.
I want to add two more fields and the data in those also must be updated to the database.
So for this i need to find the API which the Update Button calling.
Please guide me how to find the API.

i ha ve to add some fields to the output of custome report of transaction FBL5N.
Till now i have only added the fields to the output.
Now i have to write the code to populate the data for those fields in the program.
1.     Customer Credit Group(ACM/RCM): (Table: KNKK; Field Name: VKORG )
2.     Credit Representative Group: (Table: KNKK; Field Name: SBGRP)
3.     Customer Account Number(CAN#): (Table: KNKK; Field Name: KNKLI)
4.     Alternative Payer(ALTP#) : (Table: KNA1; Field Name: KUNNR)
5.     Risk Category: (Table: KNKK; Field Name: CTLPC)
6.     Credit Info Number: (Table: KNKK; Field Name: KRAUS)
7.     Rating: (Table: KNKK; Field Name: DBRTG)
8.     Payment Index: (Table: KNKK; Field Name: DBPAY)
9.     Credit control area: (Table: KNKK; Field Name: KKBER)
10.     Company code: (Table: KNB1; Field Name: BUKRS)

These are al fields i have to populate in the program..
MY ATTEMPTS:
I tried getting the data for KNKK table by GET KNKK ,but it is giving some garbage values...
And Logical database used here is DDF,and i have to add the VKORG of KNVV too...but KNVV is not there in DDF...
Can anybody tell me how should i proceed..

i have following doubts again..
I have to add sales organisation field to the selection screen...(this is given in the req.)
now if i will say GET KNKK...it would not keep account of this 'sales organisation' field...so how should i fetch the data with these input data( i.e. 'compny code' and 'customer' are the fields given by LDB and 'sales oraganisation' is the field i put it on the selection screen)
And what about the KNVV-VKORG ,because the KNVV is not present in the LDB.

In my outbound scenario (Idoc to file), I have a message id got processed from integration engine (SXMB_MONI) but failed in adapter engine (RWB) on 1week back, The same message archive in SXMB_MONI but i found same message in adapter engine.
My question is how to find the archive message IDOC num
We can't find in adapter engine it will show only (sender service, receiver service and interface date and time as well and receiver structure in message content tab) but not idoc no,
Kindly provide the solution for the issue, Is there any alternative to find the idoc?
I can search with partner in sap side but i can get lot of idoc's

Hi,
If solution given by experts in above replies doesn't work then you can try below method.
What you can do is, take some unique values from message content tab (which came in some specific segment from IDOC)
Now in R3 use tcode WE09 and set the dates when this was processed. Set other filter criteria as much as possible e.g. direction, idoc basic type, port, partner etc and at the bottom you can "Fast search mode" their you give the segment name and it's value.
This will help you get you IDOC.

ihave the implementation name so i put this in se19
and after enter it asks for definition which has to be created in se18
if we have some predefined definitons already for that implementation
how to find the particular definiton that is to be used

Put that implementation name in the enhancement name option of SE18 and press display. I hope by implementation you dont mean the Z Include.
If it is Z include then look for where use list of that and pick the Enhancement name from there.
