Yeah having the same problem here....tried setting up as a new phone and lost everything. Luckily i saved a copy of my backup file from a couple of days ago ( found here
Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\ ).
However the saved backup file is doing me no good, because I can't access it. Continues to ask for a password that I never set up. Have tried every password I can think of. I am dilligent with passwords, have them all written down everytime I make a new one...This is obsurd. I am thinking about going back to my blackberry.

The Radeon 9000 driver works for the Radeon 7500 card. I have successfully used it on a T43 with Vista Ultimate x86

Unfortunately no. The Radeon 9000 driver should bring your graphics score up to close to 2, but it will not get it high enough to enable Aero support.

Reset Password starting from Recovery HD
Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"
from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter on the keyboard.
Leave the Terminal window open.
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click  in the menubar and select Restart.
Log in.
If Keychain dialog box appears, select “Create New Keychain”.

The key is in the BIOS of your machine, please use the following tool to get it:

When run this tool, it produces a report, scroll down to Software Management section. Windows 8 or 8.1 product key is in there.

Chances are you could have also done
sudo su -
which would now make you 'root' until you exit. You could do all your setup running as root.
Very few if anything actually needs the root password to use root privileges, and having a system where root cannot be directly logged into, is a safer system.

I am a new Windows Vista Ultimate OS owner, and thus far, I'm absolutely thrilled with the advances in video render and compression speeds. However, one of the auto-update features tried to update my Extigy driver, the one that apparently loaded with the original install of Windows Vista, and the update didn't work...go figure. So, now there is no way to use the system restore as it doesn't recognize that there was a change, and I can't get the Extigy to make a peep.

in 11g version we can query the view DBA_USERS_WITH_DEFPWD to view the users....

thanks in advance.the only way I've found is to search the web for lists of default users and their passwords, then attempt to log on with said credentials. I'd start with Pete Finnigan's site (google is your friend). He may already have some scripts ready to go, or at least the lists you'd need to get started.

We have a client who is still using Oracle 8.0.6 on NT 4.0
I have a laptop with oracle client 10g.
I want to connect to the NT database to check it.
How do I know what port does the listener used ? what is the command to run at the c:\ command prompt?
I tried> c:\ lsnrctl stat but the command is not recognized
I tried to find the lsnrctl and bin but there is not.

Its not possible to get the password back from the ORACLE as such.
Because its not that it saves the passwords as such encrypted.
Try to give same password for different users and check from DBA_USERS, most of the times you might get different encrypted passwords even though the base password is same - which shows the password is not encrypted as easy to decrypt...
Only thing you can do is reset the password when someone forgets it as DBA - but not find the old password.

Lost Windows Vista password

Our non-profit has a Levono G500 with Vista installed. The person who was the user unfortunately recently passed away - and now we have no way of accessing the system as no one knows the password to Windows. I am pretty sure that we have to reload the OS - but of course we don't get the disks when we buy a system . . .so....anyone know how to one would go about getting the Windows Vista installation disks that match up with the product key on the back of the machine?
Any assistance is appreciated - I can't seem to find any mention of this on any of the forums . . .
