How to find type of a table....

Hi,
There is a name that is either a normal table or external table or queue table. How to find out table type. Type column of user_objects shows type as Table for all the three.

Sanjeev according to me, all the three are in different dictionary tables and not in one user_tables. user_tables hold information only for normal tables.

Ope the PC in RSPC1 -->go to planning view of process chain
in left side you will find different types of process types.
under other BW process types folder -->you will find process type "Delete request from PSA"
drag this into your process chain planning view and customize it based on your requirements.

There isn't a built-in function to perform calculations on thable cells. What you can do is to retrieve thable cells values and calculate the average by yourself.
To retrieve a bunch of cells in a single instruction you can use GetTableCellRangeVals: prerequisite for this function to work correctly is that cells are all included in a Rect structure (shortly, a rectangle) and are all of the same data type. See the help for the function for some explanations and the link to an example of its usage. In Cell range parameter you can pass VAL_TABLE_ROW_RANGE (row) macro to retrieve an entire row. See here for details.
Once you have retrieved cell values in an array, you can pass it to Mean function to calculate the average.

goto SE16 Click F4, You have two options Information system & Sap Applications.
Click on SAP Applications & selec the application you wnat to see, for E.g Purchasing you can click on materials managemnt, Purchasing if you drill down you will see the list of tables....

Why do you want to 'find' those tables?
Do you want to 'avoid FTS' on those tables?
You provide little information here. (Perhaps you just migrated from 9i and having problems with certain queries now?)
FTS is sometimes the fastest way to retrieve data, and sometimes an index scan is.

Check DBA_TBALES view there you find one date column that indicate last update
One option is as follows:
(1) Turn the auditing on: AUDIT_TRAIL = true in init.ora
(2) Restart the instance if its running.
(3) Audit the table:
     AUDIT INSERT,SELECT,DELETE,UPDATE on TableName
     by ACCESS WHENEVER SUCCESSFUL
(4) Get the desired information using :
     SELECT OBJ_NAME,ACTION_NAME ,to_char(timestamp,'dd/mm/yyyy , HH:MM:SS')
     from sys.dba_audit_object.

First, tell me how you determine that these entries are 'obsolete'.
Removing master data from SCM can usually be done using transaction WUF; however, you have to ensure that it is not re-sent to the SCM system, or you are just wasting your time.

 Can anyone please help me how to find the page subtotal of any field thats populated in a table in a smartform?

for sub-totals create int.table and work area of type your required db.table and go through the below steps.
1. mention the field in Sort Criteria (you can find in DATA tab inTABLE)based on which you want subtotal for another field.And check the check-boxes Event on SortBegin,Event on SortEnd.
2.then you will get 2 nodes with name of the field u have given.before and after main area. for ex.NTGEW Event on SortBegin
 NTGEW Event on SortEnd
( for example you want subtotal based on the weight-wise i.eNTGEW and you want to add cases delivered i.e.LFIMG)
3.pass the data to subtotal internal table from int.table which contains item data or from datadbase. in main area
4.below the NTGEW Event on SortEnd node create one loop and under the loop create programlines there you have to write coding for subtotal like in reports,
loop at it_sub into wa_sub.
at end of <f>
sum.
endloop.
and then create one TEXT and give the variable for ex. &wa_sub-lfimg&(which contains subtotal value)
5.and dont forget you should refresh the int.table of subtotal below the NTGEW Event on SortBegin node.
for totals simply mention in the calculation tab.

By TCODE BBP_PD, I cann't find the link by GUID between tables CRMD_ORDERADM_H (Header) and BBP_PDORG (Purchase Organization) , why? how to find this link?

Hello Jianxin,
It depends on document category type.
For Shopping Cart, no link exist between CRMD_ORDERADM_H and BBP_PDORG tables as purchasing organization is defined at item level.
For Purchase Order, using BBP_PDORG-SET_GUID, you get PO header GUID (GUID_HI) in table CRMD_LINK where CRMD-LINK-GUID_SET = BBP_PDORG-SET_GUID.

Please advice how can I find the respective table name in R/3 for a particular BW DataSource ?
P/S : I would like a technical how-to instead of referring the table names at HELP.SAP.COM
For instance, for my Standard Business Content Info Cube 0CCA_C03(CO-OM-CCA: Statistical Key Figures) which extracts from BW Data Source: 0CO_OM_CCA_4
My question is, how can I find out which specific tables in SAP R/3 is this Data Source pulling the data from ?

   1) In my R/3, I ran SE16 : Table -> ROOSOURCE
   2) OLTPSOURCE -> 0CO_OM_CCA_4
   3) EXMETHOD = F1
     (Hence, I assume the Extraction Method is a Function Module)
   4) So, Function Module = BWOM_RS_GET_CTRSTA
   5) Run SE37 in R/3
      How do I find out the specific tables in this Function Module ?
      Would you please list them for me, so I can further refer to the individual tables ?
