How to find your Client Machine ID (CMID)

Hi,
In preparation for rolling out my Windows 7 image I've been reading this Microsoft KB article:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929829 to make sure each of my clients will
receive a license from my KMS server.
However when I run the command " cscript c:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs
–dli " the CMID is not being displayed as per the KB article. I have also tried the 'detailed switch' -dlv to no avail.
I want to check that each of my 5 test machines each have a unique CMID and I can't, any suggestions?

Restoring to an iCloud backup has to be done in the initial setup process. If you have any data on your iPod now that is not in the backup that you want to save you'll need to do that first. Then go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. You will then go through the setup screens as you did when the phone was new. When given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup (see image below). Be sure you are connected to wifi and your charger as this will take some time to finish.

How to find lenovo outlet machine spec

hey guys i just ordered a new ThinkPad T430 and when is was delivered i found there was no such information from outer box telling me the detailed spec of this machine, so i am wondering if there is anyway i can find the detailed spec? it lacks of Bluetooth/keyboard/network adapter information from the outlet page.
also, i am curious how accurate lenovo outlet spec is. is that possible i will get a machine with better or wose configuration?

You need to find your ThinkPad's machine type / model number. It's printed on a small label on the bottom of the case or inside the battery compartment and looks something like this (the 2668-KHU part):

I don't think EJB/RMI standard specifies standard mechanism to get remote client IP, However you can use weblogic connection filter api to know remote client IP address.

I have two system.One is client machine and installed oracle 11G client software.
and from this machine user can connect remote server database(This is old remote system, this is just for Information).
And i have created one new database called RMANP in new remote server machine (this is the machine, in which i need to connect from client machine)
ex
CLIENT MACHINE DETAIL IS:

ip address is 192.162.21.66
REMOTE SEVER MACHINE DETAILS IS:
system56
ip address is 192.162.21.56.
and i add entry on client machine tnsname.ora file like following,

There is nothing in your connect string to tell sqlplus which database you want to connect to. Therefore it assumes (by default) that you want to connect to a *local* database whose name is identified by the value of the environment variable ORACLE_SID. And there is no such database, so he gets the reported error trying to establish a connection to a non-existent local service.
You need to specify your target database, thusly:
SQL> conn sys/syspw@rmanp as sysdba
BTW, connecting to a remote database as sysdba is considered by most DBAs to be a big secruity breach. If you really need sysdba privileges (rare) you should be logged on to the database server machine with proper OS credentials, and work from there.
Also, TYPING IN ALL CAPS IS PERCEIVED AS SHOUTING.

The term "client" does not neccessary apply with xMII. A "client" is an organization level in ECC. If you are looking for the system information open the url
http://server:port
and select system information.

The "Find my..." function is pretty much useless if the device is in the hands of a thief. All that is necessary is for the thief to connect to any computer with iTunes and "Restore as new."
The only real protection you have is with the personal information on the device rather than the physical device itself. This requires action before the device is lost/stolen. If the device has significant personal information, it should have a strong 8-digit (or longer) password AND be configured for automatic wipe in the event of ten consecutive incorrect password entries.

: How to find the system(machine) in the domain (network)

Hi Everybody,
Can some tell me how can i find the machines(system's computer's ip address)that are their in the network.
Iam developing a small program in Java, which i want to know the m/c's that are there in the network (or domain).
well anything even with ntive program that gives me all the ip's or m/c name as return will do.

I have not tried this in java, but the theory is the following:
In IP: if you want to receive response from all machines in your network, you would do the following:
(I will take a class C network as example)
Network: 192.168.1.0
Ping 192.168.1.255 (this is the broadcast address).
This way, all machines should respond. I think it is the ICMP protocol you use to do this.
The other solution (not Ethernet, and I think impossible with java) is to make a layer 2 (data link layer) broadcast rather than a IP (layer 3) broadcast. This can be done with a special MAC address code used to broadcast.
However, the first method should work for you, now the big question. How to use ICMP in java?

If it was stolen, it' highly unlikely this will work, however, since criminals know how to restore the device, removing your settings, thereby disabling Find My iPod. Your best bet is to change all your passwords, contact the police and your insurance company.

How to find your computer authorizations

I'm still on MobileMe and backing up to my computer by plugging into it. I just plugged my iPhone4 in to my MacPro and got a message that this computer was not authorized, and do I want to authorize it? To which I responded yes and then I got a message that said of my 5 allowable computures, 3 were not authorized. I only own one computer, but I do have an iPad and I DID have my work PowerPC iMac which I don't any longer, but don't remember authorizing it. And the only computer I only backed up to was my Mac Pro here at home.
The only other thing I can think of is that I recently replaced my main hard drive in my MacPro that I backed up to and changed the name of the drive from "Mac Pro" to "New Pro"
OK... there's as much of the back story as I know.
How can I find out what the 3 computers are that iTunes thinks I've authorized? And can I "deauthorize" all but "New Pro" which I'm backing up to now?

There is no need to do anything until you have reached the limit of 5.

If you dont have the reciept which would have the serial, ....then contact the retailer you got it from, If Apple they can get it for your very fast.

If your new phone is running iOS 8.1 and you tried restoring your iCloud backup and the only available backup that was listed was yesterday, then there aren't any other backups to restore from. I'm not sure what you mean when you say "...when I look into my account is see more than what is there..." Where are you looking when you see this?
