The "Find my iPhone" app is only provided to find your iPhone from another device (which has that app installed.) To find your missing iPhone, you will have needed to enable the facility by going to Settings > Privacy > Locations Services > Find My iPhone and setting it to "ON".
The App is worthless unless the phone has been simply mislaid and the battery is good. If you have SET the facility as said, all you have to do is log onto your iCloud account from anywhere in the world, on any type of computer with a browser, and it would tell you where your phone is. If the battery is still good. If the phone has a connection to the internet. If the phone has not been restored as new. If the phone has not been turned off.

So my little brother locked my Iphone 5 out, so it said to connect it to my Itunes.
So now I connect it to Itunes, however now when I click on restore (That's my only option) it says that "Find my Iphone must be turned off before restore". So I went to icloud.com and removed it from my account, then restarted phone and now when I click restore, I still get the same error, "Find my Iphone must be turned off before restore".
and when I tried to update phone, it says the phone could not be updated (error 56).
So I've tried everything possible, can someone please help me out?

Why is my shared photo stream taking up space on my iPhone when I have turned off photo sharing?

I have an iPhone 5c with iOS 8.3. It's only an 8GB iPhone, so I only have about 5.2GB of space to use. So I have to be very picky about what stays and what goes on my iPhone. I have deleted all of my pictures out of my albums (both camera roll and recently deleted) and there can be no photos found in my library. So why does my storage say that shared photo stream is taking up 54.6MB? I would like it to say 0MB. Am I missing something? I've included a couple screenshots to help clarify things. I'm seeing the 3.9 KB usage for Photo Stream under General>UIsage>Photos and Camera, nothing to do with the storage on iCloud and I have Photo Stream and everything to do with iCloud and photo sharing off. However, I may have had Photo Stream on before for a few weeks before I turned it off long ago. Could that data/used space just be a few photos that were once in Photo Stream before I turned it off if I've had it on before?

You can't locate an iPod Touch without internet connection because it cannot connect to a cellular network unlike the iPhone. It is impossible I guess.

According to Apple support, you cannot remove the phone on the device list under "find my iphone" until you turn it off and it goes offline. (It also says the device will go back on "find my iphone" when it goes online again, which seems to mean you can successfully remove it, but as soon as you turn it back on it will be back on the list, and thus you will not be able to restore it.) It's a bit of a conundrum. In my case I couldn't for some reason turn off my phone with the home/sleep buttons - nothing happens, the phone stays on. While on a chat with Apple support, they got my iphone offline (I was able to turn it off by pressing the sleep button and swiping where the red "turn off iphone" arrow would have appeared) and removed it from "find my phone", but when I reconnected to itunes it turned on and reappeared in the "find my phone" list. Luckily, the screen suddenly appeared (it had done this several times yesterday, just briefly), so I was able to turn off "find my device" from the phone. I was then able to restore. Unfortunately, this does not answer the question of how to remove the device from "find my iphone" and keep it off while connecting with itunes to restore (unless you have my good fortune of having the screen suddently reappear). Apple support seemed puzzled that it had reappeared on the device list under "find my iphone". Time will tell whether the restoration fixes the blank screen issue.

Since I installed the last update, ITunes no longer finds my iPhone when it is pluged in my laptop. I can longer sync my calander and Outlook!
