Connect to Wall Charger for 10 minutes, it may turn ON itself. If still nothing, keep on charger and Reset, hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds until iPhone turns ON. If still nothing, clean charging port with toothbrush and small amount of Isopropyl Alcohol.

I have a HP Pavillion, the only number I could find is the model number p7-1036. I hope thats the right one? windows 7 is installed.
I didnt do any changes to the computer, updates were/are up to date. The computer turned itself off and I wasnt able to start it. I unplugged it, waitede, plugged it back in. This happened 2 weeks ago, the computer is 1,5 years old. I kept it unplugged for the 2 weeks and just now plugged it back in and it started again!
now how can I find out what was/is wrong?
I want to be able to fix it before the computer dies all the way.
I dont know too much about computers, Im willing to post any information that might be important, just please explain me how to get to it

First thing I wish to know is when you turn the computer on can you explain exactly what you see on the screen if anything.
Also if you recall when the issue first occurred did you notice any new updates from HP or Microsoft being installed? Did you install any new software from the internet or from an installation disk?

My Ipad wont retrieve my new emails and if I try to check passwords in Settings, the settings window only stays open open for a second or two and the automatically closes. Any help on how to fix. I tried the turn off and on trick and that didn't work either. Thanks for any help.
Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

My iphone 5s wont turn on. I tried to recover it through itunes and it didnt work. It said that due to an error my phone could not be restored. However when I plug it into itunes via my computer it turns on, I get the apple, the white line beneath it???? As soon as I remove it from the computer it goes completly off again???????

With the very limited information you have given, I would try a reset - hold the power button and the home button until you see the apple logo then release. Or, restore as a new device in iTunes. What does and does not your phone do?

I am having the SAME exact problem! Except instead of lock button broken it's my home button so I can't do the whole "put in recovery mode" deal. My screen only says "tap the home button 3 times" and it has my screen locked until I hit the home button but since it is broken I can't get in my phone at all. Reset the phone by holding the HOME and SLEEP buttons until an Apple logo appears. If that doesn't resolve the problem you may have a bad battery.

If your iPhone is unresponsive after updating your iOS version, then I'd like you to please follow the troubleshooting below.
If you see a black screen
You might need to charge your device before it can turn on. Plug in your device and let it charge for at least 10 minutes (20 minutes for iPad), then try turning it on.
You should see a battery icon while your device is charging. If you continue to see a black screen, reset your device. If your device doesn't respond when you press buttons
Your device might not return to the Home screen when you press the Home button, wake from sleep when you press the Sleep/Wake button, slide to unlock or power off, or it might appear frozen. Try these steps:
Restart your device.
If it still doesn't respond, or if it doesn't turn back on, reset your device.
If your device gets stuck during startup
When starting up, you might see the Apple logo or a red or blue screen for a long time, or your device might restart again. Try these steps:
Make sure that you have iTunes 12 or later on your computer.
Put your device in recovery mode.
When you get the option to restore or update, select Update. This will reinstall iOS without erasing your data.

Iphone 6 wont turn on, keeps vibrating
my iPhone 6 wont turn on, screen is completely black, but it keeps vibrating every 10 secs or so - a single pulse - i have tried resetting with the home/power button combo but no luck - it was fully charged a few hours ago and i only used it to send a few texts and take pics - came home and not working. i have it on the charger now. any suggestions?
