How to fix a value of a characteristic during Aggregation

Hi,
I am not able to fix a value of a char JO_SREG(sales region) while creating aggregate.
Values of the char JO_SREG are not coming in the "value help of InfoObject JO_SREG", therefore i cannot select one value for this char to restrict it.
Please tell me why the values in the value help are not coming.

Check that master data for JO_SREG is available???
If you have not maintained the master data for JO_SREG then you wont be able to see the values.

In my advanced image properties i have a sizefield(xtype). I want to fix the width of this field; ie : it shud be a fixed value and shud not be editable for the author. So author can edit only height. How can i acheive this.

Would you please detail config steps to use OTB function since I am not MM guy but from FICO. In release procedure value is not indicated in our case. After creating the PO at one level Purchase Officer releases the order, next it goes to finance guy he just sees the terms and conditions then releases finally it goes to the GM he also verifies certain terms and conditions and finally releases. Value is not incorporated at any stage. Now we would like to have value. Think it becomes difficult now to meddle with the release procedure.

One thing you can do is to prevent the user from editing that column and programatically supply the values of that column yourself.

How to fix everything when power goes out during install? [SOLVED]

last night I was installing kde and during the install process the power went out. I tried uninstalling kde, but pacman said dependencies were missing (I need dependencies to remove stuff?), so I tried reinstalling the kde group and that seems to have worked.
What is the best way to recover from something like this and how can I be sure everything is now fixed?

you can skip pacmans dependency checks with the argument -d.
as far as i know, you can't fix files that were destroyed by a power outage.
in my experience, it's rather rare that power loss destroys files (provided you use a stable file system).
usually it's sufficient to do a thorough file system check with the repair option enabled (don't do this while the filesystems are mounted or at least mount them read-only). usually you can invoke such a file system check with shutdown -Fr now.

How to update condition value using e1edp05 segment during order creation

I have a requirement where I need to update the item level condition value (komv-kbeter) to the condition type (komv-kschl) from the incoming idocs (orders05).
But the same is configured in such a way to populate automatically with the default condition value zero during the order creation level using VA01 at condition tab.
I am able to populate condition values from incoming idoc using segment E1EDP05 which is good, but it was getting created as new entry with the same condition type instead of updating the condition value to the existing condition type(which got populated from automatically from configuration) .
So I want to restrict to one entry instead of two with same condition type. Is there any userexit/gap to restrict automatic population of condition type thru programming or to update with idoc (orders05) value rather than inserting as new row?
My client doesnt want to restrict the pricing automation from configuration. So I have to handle through programming level.

It doesn't really matter if it's a credit/debit memo, it's the same transaction anyway and pretty much the same functionality. What is your requirement exactly? Do you always have to override the price from Siebel or, let's say, some price is automatically proposed and you might or might not need to override it?
We use a custom (Z..) condition for price override. When a material is entered in VA01, some price (condition PR00, for example) is assigned automatically. Then, let's say, a special price has been negotiated with this customer just for this purchase. So the user goes into Conditions, types in condition code Z... and types in the new price. This basically annuls the previous PR00 condition. I'm not a functional consultant and can't give you all the config details, but your SD person should be able to help.
I'm still positive that conditions cannot be removed or changed by IDoc. One thing I would suggest for your situation: do not create ZCD2 condition initially and then just add ZCD2 condition when you receive the data from Siebel. Otherwise it seems that you would have to write a user exit or a requirement to deal with the duplicate conditions.

How to fix exposure changes made by Photoshop during panorama creation?

Hi There,
I have a panorama created by Photoshop but need to tweak some of the joins which is not an issue. But when I paint out/paint in objects from different layers, I've noticed that the exposure within the same layer has been changed by photoshop which creates a line.
It's like photoshop applied exposure changes to the visible parts of the layer after blending - instead of applying them to the entire layer before blending?
See the image below, that boat is all on the same layer but there's a line through the middle - how do I gain access to the exposure changes so I can paint/blend that line?
Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.

the .xmp files are only generated if the file you are working on doesn't support metadata but JPG files support it so the information is written inside them. If you want to "flatten" the file so that the pixel information gets changed then you will have to resave the files which isn't something that you should do very often with JPG files (preferably only once).
To mass save files you can either select them and go to Tools->Photoshop->Image Processor (but this will launch Photoshop) or open them up in Camera Raw, select all of them in the film strip and select Save Images

Hello.
In SOAMANAGER delete your "unexpected" service (endpoint).
Then create it again.
If same error will occurs - try to delete all definitions of this service (include sicf-transaction) and then create it completely again.

We know how to fix it manually :
The workaround is to :
remove all "'" in each attribute called "name" But we suppose we need to amend the XML schema with a proper change. And we don't know how to do this.
The weird is that we've never noticed this error earlier on a 11gR1 DB... This error only occurs on our brand new 11.2.0.2
I hope it's clear enough for your understanding.
