Hello,
I own an iPod Touch 4th generation, I have had it since August of 2012. It seems like I need to charge it everyday. I get around 12 hours of Standby and only 4 hours of Use. Is there anyway I can get my iPod to last 2 or 3 days? It used to last longer before I updated it to IOS 6.1.3.

How can i recover my lost ipod touch 4th generation even if the battery is dead?

It has been almost a month now that ive lost my ipod touch 4th generation, ive looked everywhere and cant seem to find if, i dont have the serial number, and when i go into the locate my iphone on the apple store, it doesnt work because my batery is dead, and if noone ever finds it, he cant conect it to power suply and conect it to the internet...

Apple will replace your iPod with a refurbished one for $79 (USA) or you could do a Google search on "replace iPod battery" for a local or on line repair place that will replace the battery for less. You can even find a replacement battery (same search) and replace it yourself if you're up to it.

Average battery time for ipod touch 4th generation

I recently bought an iPod Touch 4th Gen, and I'm surprised at how little use I get out of it between charges. I'm hoping someone with more experience can give me some feedback that might help me determine if what I'm seeing is normal.
I'm getting a maximum of 2 days use out of the iPod. I am currently using it a lot, as I'm still choosing apps and transferring data (sometimes by hand) from my old Palm. What I'm not doing is much in the way of power-hungry activities like video or games. I would say my average daily usage is...
- Downloading 3-4 apps (I'm trying different apps for budgeting, gas mileage tracking, etc.)
- Sufring the web (maybe 5-10 minutes a day, usually reading up on those apps or using the IMDb app
- Checking the weather once or twice on a few different apps (trying to find a good one)
- Adding things to a shopping-list app, or using it for shopping
- Using the calendar a few times a day
- Checking email maybe once a day (only if I'm tracking an issue at work and I'm not at my desk)
- Maybe playing one or two game of PoolBreak (every other day on average)
I have only once watched video, and I did it specifically to test the battery. I have a couple battery-monitoring apps, both of which tell me, after I get my first 20% warning, I should still get over an hour of video. So I tried playing a video, and got only 20m in before the iPod shut down.
Also, when I plug it in to charge, it shows the battery at 45% full within 5-10 minutes. I know there's a rapid-charge for the first 80% or so, but that seems rapid enough that I wonder about the capacity.
So...that's it. Any insights from iTouch owners would be appreciated.

How do i enable my disabled ipod touch 4th generation? ...I had just downloaded my first app when someone stole it. I asked people who might know where its at and luckily a friend was able to get it back for me. only problem was, it was disabled already!

after all ive gone through with it in just a days time of actually being able to use, its stolen,but luckily I got it bac,\k, but then unlucky its disabled when i get it back. didnt have a computer i could downlaod itunes on and connect to my ipod via usb cable. Finally, my friend brings me her laptop computer and I download the app. yesss. then i connect ipod. nothing happened at first. still said ipod disabled connect to itunes on display. then after i exited out of the various windows i opened to get it to its current position. bam, out of no where it sends out a notification sound and its showing itunes logo with a usb cable beneath it arrow in midst of the two pointing to i tunes. wallah itunes shows ipod touch on left and displays downlaod process after i answered various questions to allow it to downlaod updates and restore my ipod. . i was excited and relieved needless to say... why am I here now though, with what seems to be the same problem. you see it downloads a part of the file then about 20 mins into it or less than 25% through, i hear a beep sound from my ipod again. no it wasn"t finished with download as i had eexpected it to say but instead it said itunes was unable to access my ipods files cause my ipod had a password protection on it and that i needed to enter that password on my ipod first in order for the itunes app be able to access it.!!! HELLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ANYBODY SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. The SN will only idenify the iPod when it is found. Unless you had already set up the FindMyiPod feature, wifi is on and some other conditions are met, you look for it like any "dumb" device like a shoe.
