It works fine if you have backed up your phone. Just wipe it using your registered Apple ID and then restore it as a new device and reinstall your backup.

If you mean that the iPad is disabled due to too many incorrect passcode attempts then you will need to connect the iPad to the computer that you normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the iPad and restore/re-sync your content to it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212) - you may need to put the iPad into recovery mode in order to be able to reset it : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If you do it via a different computer then :
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
If you mean that you iTunes account is disabled then you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
If it then works on your computer's iTunes but not your phone then try logging out of your account on the phone by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
    1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
    2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
    3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
    4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
    5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
    6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
    7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
    8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Try it and good luck. You have nothing more to lose if it doesn't work for you.

how do i fix my ipad please some help

When you say disabled, do you mean it is locked up due to misentry of a passcode?  If that is the problem you will have to restore through the recovery mode as described in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212

  • How to unlock disabled ipad

My daughter put a password on her ipad mini.  She can not remember the password and now it is "disabled" and will not respond.  How do we unlock and reset her device?

    FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
    1. Hold Sleep/Wake button down and slide to turn off iPad
    2. Turn on computer and launch iTune (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
    3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
    4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTune and plug.
    5. Release Home button.
    ON COMPUTER
    6. iTune has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTune.
    7. Select "Restore iPad"...

  • HT4113 How to unlock disabled iPad which has never connected to iTunes?

My iPad is disabled and I cannot get it working, not even in recovery mode. It has a password and now it won't unlock .   I've never backed it up and never had the need to connect to iTunes. How do I get it working again? I don't mind setting up again. But it's not clear what happens if I erase all contents, will it remain locked? It's not lost or stolen, it locked itself by accident in my bag.

You need to force the iPad into recovery mode and restore it.

If that's not working, post back and tell us exactly where the process is failing and perhaps we can offer further suggestions.

  • How to put disable ipad online

I have put incorrect password in too many times and has now been disabled for over a day. I have attempted to erase ipad through icloud but i have to be online. how to i get online without buying data?

If it's disabled then you can't put it online. Cancel the icloud.com remote wipe and reset the iPad by connecting it to your computer's iTunes : Forgot passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support - you may have to use the recovery mode instructions half-way down that page

  • Youtube slow - how to fix? iPad 1

My iPad is extremely slow on youtube.
A friend of mine noticed it and commented that his internet is faster.
I have 11M down and on iMac and MBP it isn't a problem.
After going online, I found several posts in Google about same problem, but few answers and no fixes.
    HELP!

    I did - sort of. I realized that obviously there was some calendar invite or meeting I received from a source (in this case Google) that was causing the app to crash. Here's what I did;
Made backup of iPad in iTunes
    Disabled All calendar syncs
Re-enabled one at a time, checked iCal, and if it crashed I found the offending account causing it (in my case - Google)
Went to my google account to find whatever meetings I had there, made manual note of them, then deleted them from Google.
Went into iPad, turned on syncing again for Google calendars, then checked - no crash (and no meetings, either)
Added in via the iPad the meetings that needed to be there to alert me
I know - it's a pain in the arse - but I think I narrowed the problem to be some people sending me invites with .ics files generated from Lotus notes and forwarded to my gmail account, where I add it to my calendar from there. I have yet to have an Outlook/Exchange invite sent to me that crashes my iPad. What I've done since then while I have an Exchange account:
Create a personal calendar in my Outlook (which connects to an exchange server)
I get the invite in my gmail account
I access my gmail account from my Outlook (just add your gmail as an IMAP account)
Add it to the PERSONAL calendar I previously added to Outlook.
When that syncs - it works like a champ
If you're not using Outlook at all, I would think the first 6 steps would apply. There is an option in "Advanced" under iTunes sync at the bottom that says to delete all calendar information on the iPad BEFORE it updates all the meetings. You may want to do this too in order to make sure the offending entries are whacked.
    Hope this helps.
