How to fix if timeline does not come up when Premier Elements 9 is loaded.

When I open my Premier elements 9 it comes up blank no timeline and if I try to open existing files they will not even open up. How can I fix this?

Currently the Adobe Premiere Elements Forum is receiving a lot of threads with this same type of problem with Premiere Elements 9. Sometimes
deleting the settings file resolves the problem, sometimes not. Some of these reports have defied resolution. The following is what I would like you
to explore. Details will be very important as we move forward on this. What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 9 running on?
For now, I will assume Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit and a NTSC setup.
Important Usual Drill
1. Is this a "it worked before but not now" or "it never worked before issue"?
2. Are you working from the 9.0.1 Update?
3. Are you running the computer from a User Account with Administrative Privileges as well as Run As Administration?
4. Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer?
5. Does the problem exist with and without the antivirus enabled? What is the antivirus program?
Specifics
(A) Go to Computer/Manage/Services and Applications/Services and find FLEXnet Licensing Services and make sure that it is listed as started.
(B) Deletion of the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs File

and in the 9.0 Folder is the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file that you delete. If that does not work, then you delete the whole 9.0 Folder in which the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file exists. Be sure to be working with Folder Option Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives active so that you can see the complete path cited.
(C) If that does not work, then uninstall, ccleaner run through (regular clearner and registry cleaner parts), reinstall with antivirus and firewall turned off.

- You can't delete the apps that came with the iPod

Control panel does NOT come up when I swipe up in ios7

When you start the pre-swipe basically start the swipe with your finger from the lower left-hand corner of the hard case then upwards... not touching the actual screen first (make sure you start the swipe upwards from the actual hard plastic of the case before touching the edge of the screen)
then move your finger upwards onto the screen. Now I can pretty much do it every single time when starting from the bottom left-hand side. Let me know if this works for everybody else.
Still looking forward to Apple adding a couple of millimeters to the actual swipe area (higher) on the next update, This will make it much easier for everybody with cases to access the control panel. Cheers

Satellite M60 - screen does not come on when i reboot

I have a Toshiba Satellite M60 and the screen does not come when I power down or reboot. It takes about 12 tries before it comes on. When the screen does not come on the computer still boots up ok just no screen.
I have to put it in standby mode if I do not want the hassle of trying to get the screen to come on. Is this a screen or inverter problem?
Any help would be appreciated.

You cannot expect that someone here offer exact diagnostic to your problem. For instance, I can say yes, you need new display. And what now? Do you want to follow my opinion and order new display?
What you really need is professional help. Technicians know how to handle with such cases. Maybe just some cable must be exchanged. I recommend you to contact nearest authorized service provider. Explain them the situation and let them check your notebook.

Report does not come up when called from Forms

I have installed Oracle 9i database and dveloper suit on my pc. When I run reports from forms, the report does not come up. I have Adobe Acrobat reader 6. The report does get created, I can see it in the cache directory.
It created an error file, I am posting the begining of this file here.

Looks like this is not a Forms side problem or even a Reports Servlet problem
Some guesses.
From the exception

it looks like engine crashing. Did you see the server GUI up and running ? Server might not have started
Give
rwserver server=<server_name> in command line.
The server GUI should come up and show "ready "
You have multiple Oracle Homes on the same machine. So this could be a PATH problem.
1) Go to ControlPanel -> System - Advanced - Env variables - System Variables
Copy the IDS specific PATH to clipboard
Go to iDS_HOME\bin\ and open a command window. Set only the above PATH here. Start a standalone server
rwserver server=<server_name>
and try
(If this works you could write a batch file later)
2) For trouble shooting purposes use a different server name to start the standalone server.
3) Also look in your registry
HKLM\Software\Oracle\Home<x>\
Here please see whether you have any "very long" environment variable (say more than 256 chars or 512 chars).
This is just a guess.
4) To confirm this is not a Reports servlet problem
give
rwclient report=<report_name> + ..... <server=server_name>
If you get same error, then it is not a servlet problem. It could be that Reports server is crashing

Iphone 4 is not recognized by itunes, will not sync, charge indicator icon does not come on when hooked to usb charger

When I hook my iphone 4 up to itunes, it does not show up on the left. It will not sync, and the lightning bolt charging indicator on the phone does not come on although it appears to be charging over time because the battery level has increasd.
I am running Mac OS X, up to date as is my iTunes. I tried the steps from the website troubleshooting guide and nothing worked.

Additionally, charging through other devices such as my car charger has the same symptoms.

Ok, lets do a couple of steps here first:
To make sure your windows isn't corrupted because of the power outage, let's run chkdsk.
Click on My Computer, then right click your C: Drive (if you have other hard drives, you will want to run this on them as well). Then, click Properties. Inside that window, go to the Tools tab. Inside that tab, open up the "Check Now" button. That will open a smaller window. Select the checkbox to "Automatically fix file system errors", then hit Start. You will probably receive an error asking if you want to schedule the disk check, click Yes, then restart your computer.

After running the chkdsk, then please go to [http://www.getfirefox.com www.getfirefox.com], and download a fresh version of Firefox. I'm assuming you are using Internet Explorer to download Firefox. Firefox does not come up when I double click the icon, why not?

I upgraded Adobe but Firefox did not come up afterward. I uninstalled the upgrade but still can't get Firefox. On Start I get an MSN page without a toolbar or any other way to get to anywhere else. I have to close the window and am back at Desktop. Windows Explorer is working, going to wedsites, etc.

What version iOS have you got ? If you are still on the orginal iOS 3 version then you won't get the taskbar.

How to make yellow dialog box not come up when I mouse over tabs?

I hate the little small yellow background colored dialog box that pops up when you mouse over tabs on Firefox on Mac.
The reason why this is an in convenience on the Firefox in Mac is when a dialog box comes up and you minimize Firefox the dialog box stays there on the screen, so you have to bring Firefox to the front and then mouse over it til the box go's away, and then finally you can minimize Firefox without having the dialog box stay on your screen.
To negate this problem I want to know if their is a way for me to disable that dialog box from coming up at all. It also comes up when I mouse over my all in one sidebar add on and I have noticed it when you mouseover links on certain sites, like in Pandora when I am mousing over the different artists in my list the little box comes up, again it's not needed and very annoying.

No, Preview All is automatically scanning through each song one by one playing an excerpt, it completely different.

I can understand your confusion on this bit - when a song plays that I like, I can return my focus to my mac and rate or add that particular song. You must understand that people listen to music while doing other things, and given the MBP has speakers, it is safe to say I may not be tethered to it with headphones while listening.

Signal does not come back when I lose it?

Every time I lose signal my phone stays on no service? I have tried a reset and looked at settings, I've even asked in the apple store but told they don't know of an issue yet it's all over the web. My temp fix is to turn flight mode on and off but does anyone have a permanent fix? Thanks

Here in Sweden it is a big problem that only iphone 5 has, and only with the carrier "3".
3 is the name of a carrier here in Sweden.
All the iphone 5 with the carrier 3 has this problem. I have called apple and the carrier. No solution jet.
I have an original unlocked Iphone 5 with OS 6.0.1.
I have restarted, resetted, reupdated "re" everithing... even used the phone 24 hours completely clean in factory settings.
To make sure it wasn´t the phone that had a problem, I tryed with 2 other simcards from other carrier and they worked perfect. The service is coming back with them. Only with all the simcards from three "3" carrier, the network never comes back.
I tryed to put the "3" simcards on the iphone 4s with OS 6.0.1 and they worked fine, the network was coming back.
It seams to be a problem with the combination of the "3" simcard and the "3"network and iphone 5.
I have been thinkin, what is different with "3" from other carriers???
The difference is that 3 doesn have any gsm, edge, 2g antennas. They only use 3g, umts antennas.
All other carriers uses the gsm 2g edge antennas where 3g umts lte is not available.
This could be the problem.
I am afraid that Iphone 5 searches for edge gsm 2g antennas when the 3g disappears and gets stuck there even when the 3g network comes back.
Could it be that in the software it was forgotten to search for 3g again when the 3g network comes back?
I mean the the software tells the iphone 5 to search for edge on and on, but never tells it to search for 3g again?
I wish an apple technician could read this.
