How to fix issues related to static electricity

I had my iPad connected to a headphone jack for an external player. There was a small static shock when I touched and unplug it. My iPad mini seems to now be having issues related to static electricity. I am clearly having a issue with the audio output thru the headphones. It works normal until the volume scroller gets to 3/4 up, then there is a very irritating static like noise mixed into the other outgoing sounds.
Also the battery seems to be losing power at twice or three times as fast as before. I've only had it a month and half. Can this be fixed somehow?

I have Iphne 4s/5.0.1 and I'm also stuck with same problem from last 5 days. I have restored/backup/updated the phone as many times as possible. I have been with Vodafone Customer Care (India) and now everyone knows my problem there, but there is no solution.
I have read and tried most of the solutions provided here. Please help me out.
Problem -
1. 3G / Edge working when restore as new phone
2. 3G / Edge stops working as soon as backup is restored
3. Copied and verified both of the files (8218978e4ab0a48035bb92653145a6be872ea858 (Restored new iphone & Restored backup iphone) have different settings. Replacing part of this file or even complete text of this file, changes the date/time stamp of file and on backup restoration it says "Corrupt backup" and phone restarts.
4. I dont want to Jailbreak the phone
5. Using any third party software to install new APN says "Only One APN can be installed"
6. Profile doesnt show any other APN
Is there any other way to delete this file (com.apple.managedCarrier.plist) or just change the section where in string value is "Portalnmms" to required value "iphone" along with key?

Don't panic man ;) This is not a problem dude.
You get different or wrong signs on the display because the keyboard layout does not match with the keyboard language setting in the regional and language options in the control panel.
Please check this settings and change to another language; maybe from US to UK

Recovery Disk Error : cannot read from source file or disk HOW TO FIX ISSUE

I have had my satellite L655-S5096 for some time now.. I had to switch out hard-drives the other day and installed windows 7 home on it from my own disk. I tried to download all the drivers needed, but the graphics and wifi drivers never worked, so I pulled out the old toshiba disks to start from new with this harddrive.. It gets to asking me for the second disc, then the second disc gives me the the "cannot read from source file or disk PREINST8.SWM" This is from the "out of the box" setting, which is recommended. I do not know how to fix this issue besides reinstalling windows 7 from my disc and trying to get the drivers to work again.. however I shouldn't have to since I have the Toshiba recovery disks.. do I need new disks?
Yes, I also had the hard drive drivers and all of that installed.. my toshiba reads the HDD just fine.

My best guess is that the disc is not readable. Try copying it to another. Sometimes that works.
Otherwise, order new discs from Toshiba.

How to fix issues with with keyboard input on JB?

Hi,
My firefox stops accepting keyboard input on websites input fields. This happens EVERY time after 1 or 2 visited wbsites. It does not matter what keyboard I use (android native or any market downloadable keyboard). The address bar input works just fine btw.
My os version is JellyBean 4.2.1 and the issue was since JB 4.1. I use ff on all my devices and the sync option is very handy ... but on my tablet and phone I have this issue and I am being forced to use chrome :(
I have seen a lot of people complaining about this. Could you please fix this? I could run some debug versions to help tracking this issue if necessary.

How to fix Issues with Citrix photoshop cs6?

Good day people from Adobe.
My university (ITESM) is using the Citrix plataform to stream to all of us students adobe's photoshop cs6 suite. However I am having issues with it becuase:
1.-it isn't allowing me to upload new brushes (.abr)
2.-nor it detects pressure sensitivity from my tablet.
My other native mac programs like Gimp can detect the pressure sensitivity so it isn't an issue of my MAC
Is this a problem with the my university's software? Should I contact them? or is it an issue with their version of photoshop?

Yes, your university probably shouldn't be running Photoshop over Citrix.
Citrix is not native, and won't be able to handle pressure or many other system specific options.
I doubt that Photoshop can work correcly over Citrix (due to the limitations of it's virtual and streaming architecture), and the performance will not be very good even if you try.

How to fix issue with saving flattened PNG32 with transparent background?

Using CS6 on a 15 inch MacBook Pro. When I save a layer as a flattened PNG file, the transparency is not preserved and I see a white background. Tried using the export option with the same result.
I originally switched from CS5 to CS6 to address this issue itself. It worked the first time after fresh install. However has stopped working since then. Seems like a bug in the software.
Can anyone help find a way to address this?

I have the same issue with CS6, Can't export transparent PNG 32 or transparent PNG 8, can't go back to CS5 because then I can't use the CSS generation tool... So I need to use CS5.x to create the transparent PNG and I need to use CS6 to create the CSS... Bah this is an awful workflow. I don't know why Adobe has never been able to get transparent PNG's correct. Between photoshop and fireworks there is so much confusion with the PNG 8, PNG 24, PNG 32, what is transparent, what isn't transparent.... It's a joke. Fireworks is such a better program for web design than Photoshop yet this is the one thing that has been holding Fireworks back and it's still doing it. GIANT PITA!

I bought the master collection of CS6 and its been great on my mac OS X Lion but recently I had to download the new OS X Yosemite and ever since then I've been having issues with my programs. I use Photoshop CS6 the most and now its been so hard to even work because hot key commands don't work half the time and other little things have made working on the program almost impossible. I don't know if I need to re-download the programs or what.

My device turned off then the apple screen popped up and it began to perform the up date. after the loading bar was full it went to a connect to itunes screen so I did but nothing happened and iTunes will not recognize my device. Similar problem here. I have the 4s model and I try to do the update but when it downloaded the update it said that a problem occurred and then switched to the connect-to-iTunes screen.

I recently had iTunes crash on my home PC, Windows 7 64-bit. I have tried several attempts to uninstall and reinstall the program and it still does not work and I receive error messages. The latest: The program can't start because ApplePushService.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem. Problem is, the articles that I have seen state this is an Unknown source and my firewall will not allow it to be installed. The original error was a Windows Error 7 (registry & .dll issues). Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

With some research I found regedit setting called “TabProcGrowth” that allows tabs to span without re-authenticating with certain browsers. Can you tell me how to fix this issue for my Mozilla Firefox users? Our current version of Mozilla Firefox is: 24.5.0 (x86 en-US). This was first noticed with a product called Confluence that we use in our Tech Support area. Users are having to reenter their password every time they click on a new link in confluence. As long as you are accessing your internal server on http:// or https:// then I would expect the normal rules to apply. To see whether some external requests are being blocked, you might try using Firefox's Web Console, Network tab.
You can open the console in the lower part of a tab using either:
* Ctrl+Shift+k
* "3-bar" menu button > Developer > Web Console
* (menu bar) Tools menu > Web Developer > Web Console
Click "Network" on the top bar of the Web Console.
Then use the address bar or a bookmark to launch Confluence in the same tab. Each request made by Firefox should be displayed along with the result. You can click a row for more details.

Someone asked if I could help with this problem they are having with Firefox with Windows XP.
There are a couple things going on that may or may not be related.
Firstly the Yahoo toolbar was installed in Firefox. I assume this was bundled with another program or update.
Also, if you try to print a webpage from within Firefox you are prompted to save the file first. I tried printing a page from Firefox on my computer (Firefox 30 Mozilla Firefox for Linux Mint - 1.0) and was not prompted to save the file first.
I'm assuming that this issue is related to the Yahoo toolbar.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

This is a part of the larger MacBook Pro connectivity issue. There are several related threads dealing with the MBP's networking problems. If your unit is suffering from this type of difficulty, good luck ... (or a long ethernet cable)
