Am having HP W19 Monitor ,In this am facing Display line (horizontal ) occuring problem...how to fix it?..

That could either be the monitor or the PC, perhaps the cable.
Try another monitor to see if the problem is the same, if it is then the cable or the PC's graphics card are the problem.
If the other monitor is OK then you will need to replace the monitor.
You might also want to change the refresh rate in advanced settings under screen resolution and see if that helps.
Let me how it goes.

Source Monitor has horizontal lines along the video

Hi,
In the source monitor [only after the video is rendered] I get these horizontal lines across the video. Looks like this http://yfrog.com/7bpremierproblemj
I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this? Also, the rendered file is fine which really confuses me and if I click on the video in the source monitor then it is restored back to normal, until I click off it then it goes back to having those lines.

Thanks for correcting me there 'vertical line'.
I've recently installed new drivers and I still have that problem. Driver errors wouldn't explain why the video is fine when I import it. If my computer struggled to play the video then the exported file would have the vertical lines to, however it is fine.

How I fixed the colored vertical lines on my Mac Powerbook G4 17"

Hello all,
I know that many people with a Powerbook G4 17" are suffering from the colored vertical line problem on their displays. This is were a pixel wide vertical line of color (yellow, green, purple, red, and/or blue) randomly appears on the laptop's display, usually between 24-36 months after purchase. This is also known on various internet forums as the "bridget riley effect" -- named after a painter whose art looks very similar to this effect. Many, if not all, of the laptops that suffer from this defect are 17" displays and have a serial number that starts with W8. Mine starts with W85; you can check yours by looking underneath the battery. It usually starts off as just one line, then two, then a few months pass and before you know it your screen looks like this:
This is my screen two years after the first line showed up, which was two and half years after getting it in December of 2005. Not so pretty. And completely useless without an external display, kind of killing the purpose of a Laptop. As a film editor I needed my screen to see the images and more importantly I needed it to be mobile. There's not always a screen to plug into.
I tried getting Apple to fix the problem, but apparently they're just ignoring the fact that almost all the laptops that came from this certain factory in Thailand (indicated by the serial number starting with W8) have failing displays. They delete threads and forums on their website, and try to censor and ignore the problem as much as they can. Unless some huge media blitz happens, or there is some kind of legitimate lawsuit, I highly doubt they ever will do anything about it, and you can't really blame them. They are a big business and addressing this problem with cost them potentially millions in repairs and tarnish their reputation as a quality manufacturer, and Apple's biggest commodity is its reputation. It ***** that Apple allowed this kind of thing to happen, but as things stand right now, it would be a poor business decision to fix it.
So, fellow vertical line sufferers, AKA the W8 club, my advice to you is stop holding out hope that they will pay for your screen to be fixed and get it done yourself! If you do it right you can get it done for between $60-$99. Here's how I did it.
First off, know that this is a hardware problem. There is no setting in system preferences you can change that will make the lines go away. There are failing physical parts in your computer to blame and they need to be replaced.
Second, in order to keep things as cheap as possible, you are going to replace the parts. It's actually pretty easy.
Thirdly, you are going to need a whole new display. I thought maybe if I replaced the display data cable (the cable that runs from the computer under the key board to the back of the screen) it might solve the problem very cheaply, since a brand new one only costs about $9 online. I took the computer apart, replaced the cable, but the display did not change at all. So the problem is the screen, not the cable. I needed a whole new screen, however, a brand spanking new one can cost between $350-$600. So I went on eBay, typed in my computer, and looked for computers that were being sold for "parts" or "repair." These are usually much cheaper because they are not working computers, but you don't need the computer to work, you just need the display to work. If you do this, make sure you read the descriptions. If there's any mention of display problems, move on and keep looking. You don't want to replace the display only to have the lines show up all over again a few months down the line. They wont always give you the serial number, but obviously try to stay away from serial numbers that start with W8. I found a used Powerbook being sold for parts for $63. It didn't have RAM, or a Hard-drive, or screws to keep the keyboard on, but the display apparently had no issues. With shipping and handling it cost me $94 total and three days to get it. The serial number started with V7. I'm sure with a little patience and vigilance, you can find something just as cheap or even cheaper.
NOTE: Some powerbooks have High-Res display screens, so make sure you know which screen yours has so you know which to look for.
Now, how to actually replace the display. I used an awesome website called ifixit.com. They give you detailed easy-to-follow instructions with photographs. I'll let them give you the nitty gritty of how to replace the display. Here is the actual How-to guide I used:

The only tools you really need are a small phillips head screwdriver and a T6 and T8 Torx screwdriver (they are starred on the end, as oppose to crossed like the end of a phillips head). They say you need a "spudger" but I didn't. You can get these at any hardware or auto-parts store. Return them when your done if you are really on a budget, but you might want to take more part from this new computer in the future, so your call. You'll need to print out the instructions first, or use another computer to follow them since you obviously can't use your Powerbook. Find a flat, well-lit work space, preferably near a TV so you don't get bored while working, and use the how-to guide to switch the old display with the new one. It only took me a couple of hours to finish the whole thing, and I didn't have to pay a repair man hundreds. My display works perfectly now! It's so nice to be have the mobility of a laptop again (especially since the computer i got off of eBay came with a battery that can actually hold a charge).
NOTE: There are a bunch of screws and a few small parts that will need to be taken out while replacing the display, and its important they all go back in their proper spots. So I highly recommend you take a long piece of tape, loop it, and stick it flat onto the side of your work space. As you take out each screw or small part, stick them in order to the tape. This way nothing gets lost and when you work backwards to put your computer back together you'll always know which screw or small part is next in line and which one the how-to guide is referring to.
I really hope this helps people with this problem. This seems to be the only solution. And for less than $100 bucks, I think its worth it, especially since you now have back up parts for any other part of your computer that might fail in the future. My disc drive stopped working recently so I'm replacing it with the one that came with the computer I got off eBay; a $90 part. I tried to make this as easy-to-follow, practical, and comprehensive as I could -- for as cheap as I could. GOOD LUCK!!!

I suspect not. There are long threads with hundreds of reports, most with PowerBooks whose serial numbers began with W8 (or W85). Still there is no Repair Extension Program for this issue.
At this point, your only recourse is to discuss the issue with Apple Consumer Relations at 1-800-767-2775, if you are in North America.

How do I insert a horizontal line in an email?

Getting emails from Windows guys that have lots of horizontal lines that divide the text into sections is commonplace. It is easy for them (bless their souls) I have tried everything possible to do it in Apple Mail. Adding <hr> does not work (there is no HTML editor built into either Mail or Safari). So, other than putting in ugly dashes across the page, is there no way to do this other than exporting the message to a Windows machine and editing it there?

Here is what I did to get this result when composing from Mail 6 and sending to my gmail account. Do not have a Outlook account to test how Windoze handles this rich text.
Be sure you are sending rich text messages.
When you want to insert a line:
Right mouse btn click and choose Font > Show Fonts
In the dialog that pops up, there are a row of icons across the top.
Choose the third icon to set the color of your line.
Choose the second icon to choose the strike-through feature, single-line.
Press and hold the space bar across your email -- say 80%.
Turn off strike-through feature and any color to resume mail message.
Want another one, copy and paste.

Adobe Reader - How to fix improperly displayed images?

Hello, I have an issue, Adobe Reader 11.0.08 displayed weird colored images below but Adobe Reader 11.0.08 as Firefox plugin showed the image as normal with proper colors, how to fix Adobe Reader 11.0.08 to show the colors correctly as what Adobe Reader 11.0.08 Firefox plugin showed?
Attached below is a snapshot taken using Adobe Reader 11.0.08 as it showed like that exactly to me when viewing it in there but Adobe Reader 11.0.08 Firefox plugin do not show me this incorrect rendering of the image so the .pdf document itself is not at fault.

After doing clean installs, I can confirm that the option is already set to 'Show large images' and have checked again to make sure, situation is still the same as before.
In regards to making the entire PDF file available to Adobe Cloud, I don't think it will be possible, sorry about that. (I'm not familiar with how digital distribution works and such)
However a friend recommended to me "Foxit Reader" and it have worked fairly well with no issues in regards to distorted or buggy images rendering that both the current Adobe Reader 11.0.08 and Adobe Reader 11.0.10 have.

How to fix the display width of a query

Hi,
I have a query in BEx query designer with some characterisitic columns & key figure columns showing data for 12 months of a year. Right now I am able to see only 4 months data at a stretch. I want to narrow down the display of the characteristics and fix the display length of the 12 months key figure data. I want that all 12 months data should be visible in the window without having to scroll right. Can anyone help me?

The number of columns or rows visible within a single page of a query is determined by the Paging setting of the ANALYSIS item in the 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN Web Template. Here you can select whether you want 4 columns or 12 and how to scroll across or down pages.
Be warned though, this web template serves as the default template for all BI7 queries so any changes here will be universal across your system.

How can I create a horizontal line under a line of text?

Use the "Frame Below" attribute in the Advanced tab of the Paragraph Designer for your heading tag to use a named Reference Frame from your Reference page. If you're using the default templates for your documents, you could try the Single Line selection (or make your own).

I have been messing around with Mt Lion Server last day or so. Different than Lion Server, more refined, more sreamlined.
I got this same error message when trying to enable and setup NetRestore / NetInstall.
Looks like when one is using Wi-Fi as the network interface, you get this error. I suspected this.
Not sure if this is a bug or Apple wants people to use Ethernet only, if so why give a choice, probably a bug.
I have succefully used NetRestotre Lion server on a 2011 Mac Mini, worked perfectly. Then I remembered, I was using wired Ethernet, as I suspect most servers would use a wired network connection.
MT Lion Server NetRestore / NetInstall works if you use Ethernet, and turn off Wi-Fi. Ethernet will actually show up as a selectable option under Access > Settings > Enable NetInstall Setttings On.., and you click Edit, and can check enable Ethernet.
Once I did that the error went away. Then you get another message, if you do not have a NetRestore (in my case) image in the proper path, which you can set. I always like to do this away from the the boot volume, saves space, etc.
You have to manually copy the .nbi folder you created with System Image Util. It seems Apple could have gone the extra step and included that in the Server GUI.
No more Workgroup Manager, Server Admin, and the other dozen apps it tooks to admin server. Some are complaining. I for one like it very much. Always thought it was somewhat stupid and lazy of Apple to have that functionality across several apps. It was always un Apple like. It should be One App. I like what the Server app is now.
Managing users, groups, shares, services is so much better, and refined, consolidated. Makes so much more sense.
(Local User, Local Network User), you actually know clearly what type of user you are loooking at. WGM was IMHO a nightmare to navigate, it was schizophrenic (left over from NeXT I surmise).
And of course one can go to the CL for all sorts of deep things like dns, changeip, dscl, odutil, etc. It's all there.

How to not to display any line items for val flds values are zero in KE30?

In KE30,in one of my reports, i do not want to display such line items for which all values are zero for all val flds, it should only display the line items for which there is any value, i have tried Zeros hide in KE35 in formatting menu>other format>hide zeros, but unofrtunately it didnt came out.

I have tried that as well in ke35 and made this option activated on my val flds like sales revenue for hide zero values, but it didnt came out as well, then in i tried ke32 change report >Extras menu>form settings, this adopts all the settings in the report from the form you have assigned, but this is not working, i am failed to understand what has gone wrong.

Have you tried using cursors? Right click on the chart and show the cursor legend. Then right click the legend and add a cursor.

How to fix black horizantal black lines on 2010macbook pro 17' screen?

Hi everyone!
I come to the community for help after looking everywhere on the internet. I've had a problem now with my computer for a while where these strange black lines (always horizontal in nature) appear on my screen. I have two pictures below:

These black lines will appear out of no where and they won't go away unless I select whatever is there and move my mouse. If it's across some font, I can select the font and easily go over the black line and it'll disappear.
Also, the more permanent things is random drop shadows from open windows won't work or the shadow won't work in places. Sometimes the font below a folder or above an icon on my dock will just be gone, like a chunk of it missing the size of those black lines you see in pictures above.
Is it something I can fix? Should I take it into the genius bar? My computer is a 17' Macbook Pro from 2010 and I'll be honest, this never happened until I upgraded to Mountain Lion. I even reinstalled Mountain Lion but the black lines and random text as well as drop shadow disappearances have returned.
Let me know what everyone thinks! I'd like to solve this mystery as quickly as I can! Thanks in advance.

When you have problems with the display, there are usually three possibilities: The wire connection is faulty, the display is faulty or the GPU is having problems. All are are hardware issues that cannot be solved by software and generally do not fall into the do it yourself category.

How to fix site display for IE6

so I'm hoping someone else might be able to assist me. Basically, I
am troubleshooting a site that was created by someone else that
uses Javascript includes and 2 CSS files for the navigation and

All but the Home Page does not display correctly in IE6 on
Windows XP, that is, the main content of the page wraps
left-justified and below the left-side navigation.

You can try refreshing PPR programmatcly on that table.
Bind that table with bean and when u displaying table using some button or you navigating to that page.call this method before navigation to that page.it will re refresh the table.
Like this AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().addPartialTarget(this.getOrderLinesTableBinding());
