How to fix screen freeze

I have tried increasing RAM, repairing disk, clearing vents, using smcFanControl. I have plenty of hd space, but i still have an unresponsive frozen screen happening several times a week. It does it whether I'm browsing or not, sometimes even when ive just booted up. Any suggestions welcome.

(ps I'm on 10.6.8 don't know why Apple thinks I'm on 10.5.2)

I got a new iPod the other day it was iOS 4.1 so I updated it to iOS 6.1.3 and suddenly after download I go into caned a and try to take a "selfie" and I try to turn the camera around and it freezes and won't let me use the front camera and all the apps like camwow and snapchat keep crashing because you take pictures on then before I updated it was working fine and now it's not can you please tell me how to fix it, I don't know if my camera isn't working or it's a glitch or anything can I just please have somebody help me.

How to fix graphic freeze while playing minecraft?

Hi
My computer freezes every time I try playing minecraft. It works for the first 30/40min, but crashes more and more frequently after this (every 2/3 min for longer and longer periods of time!).
If I stop playing for an hour or two, for some reason it works again.
I am running no other program apart from minecraft and Hamachi to connect to the server (I am not the local host).
I have a macbook pro 12-inch, mid 2012 runinf a 2.5 GHz processor. I have 4GB memory and my graphic card is the intel HD Graphic 4000.
Sofware up to date on OS X Lion 10.7.5.
Anyone else getting this??? Or better yet how to fix this!!

Try downloading a different minecraft launcher, like tekkit launcher, and switch it to vanilla mode. Once you are there it should run smoothly. Another option is to go into options and try using Maximum FPS and keep your rendering distance at tiny-small

Has anyone worked out how to fix screen flicker on MBP late 2010 running snow leopard?

Hey, I have a MBP late 2010 (MacBookPro6,2) running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and I'm having trouble with external screens. They work fine 70% percent of the time but the rest of the time there is intermittent flickering. This I have determined is a something with the computer and not the screen as other computers work on the screens without fault and the problem occurs on multiple screens when using the same laptop. This is a video of the flickering, http://youtu.be/vvAlhDQD7iw . I think it might be something in Snow Leopard as the problem does not persist when I'm using bootcamp. I think the flickering might have started after one of the Snow Leopard updates (10.6.4 maybe?) but this is not definate. I've had this problem for at least the last year but with a ramp in university work this semester this problem is really starting to be annoying. I tried turning off "Automatic graphics switching" and this had no effect whatsoever. The graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M. I had a look for updated drivers from NVidia but these would not install saying the system was incompatible. I have seen similar problems on here and other places but either they have not had a solution or have had a solution which did not fix the problem for me. Anyhelp would be great, specially if Apple would tell me how to fix it.

Thanks Guys, I didn't try the different display settings as this wouldn't affect multiple screens (and when other computers are plugged in they use the same frequencies). I did try the update posted above but unfortunately this hasn't worked. So I decided to bite the nail and reinstalled Snow Leopard on top of the previous installation (ie without erasing the HD) and then updating it. It seems to be running better so may have been a problem with one of the updates. I'll report back if the flickering comes back though.

im know im not super computer expert but as far as my knowledge goes its probably 1 of thos xxx.ini files cuz usually contain settings and stuff like that
they are easy to open with notepad and easy to just change one of them and burn a new disc with the corrected file

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when complete, test again.

How to 'Fix or Freeze' Flexed Tracks?

I am looking for the best way to fix flexed audio tracks in their new state once I am satisfied with the editing etc.
What is the best way to save them? By freezing the track, or bouncing it to make a separate audio file? Or any other way?
And then can I delete the old regions, as they may be referenced by other arrangements? Would that save some processing power as well?
I presume I should re-beat map the track/s (i'm editing drums), to make sure my quantising represents 'on the beat'?
The problem I've having is that, for whatever reason, sometimes I find that when I re-open a file with previously flexed tracks, one or two of the tracks have 'forgotten' their flexed state and have flexed themselves according to their own transients rather than to the transients on the Q marked tracks I have chosen in the phase locked group.
I'm editing drums and I set and adjust the transients within the sampler editor of the bass & snare tracks and then choose these as the Q tracks for the drum group, which includes toms, hihat and overheads. Often, is the overheads that forget the Q transients and slip forward and out of phase with the rest of the drums, In flex view mode you can see the flex lines are not lined up within the grouped tracks.

Since your under warranty, I would have Apple replace the EFI firmware and check the machine out for hardware issues as well.
Buy AppleCare and a external drive for TimeMachine backups.

How to fix game freeze lag?

I have some serious freezelag when i play online games like Starcraft 2 and World of Warcraft even if i adjust everything to low graphics it still freeze. It started small a few weeks ago and now it's worse, i havent had any of the issues with the video freeze that other people have had on youtube and such, and i have the 10.7.1 update aswell nothing helps, any one know what the problem is?
I am using Ethernet, it's not a new modem but not that old 2 years maybe.
I went to the Starcraft forums and this is the awnser i get there from their costumer service:
Blizzard Officals claims that this has nothing to do with SC2, but moreover because of openGL limitations on Mac OS X.
Providing better drivers is Apple's task.
Any one know if these drivers are on the way or is it better to uninstall Lion?

I play on Pogo.com and recently noticed that my screen is split when playing games. There is too much space between the game and chat area. If I enlarge it to max, it doesn't take all the picture I need on the left side on some games, but always either small or larger screen there's a 2" space that should not be there. Can you please help?

How to fix screens? (finder blinking)

Hi, I've been facing a problem for some time now were there seems to be some visualization problem with either finder or having multi-able screens open. When moving from one space to another the windows on the desktop including the desktop contents blink in and out. I've tried uninstalling third party apps that may have been responsible and reinstalling os x 10.7 and updating to the current 10.7.2 but I still have this problem. It also seems that around the same time that this occurred the cpu and memory use has dramatically increased when using finder to the point of over heating of the cpu and extremely high fan rpm. If seen on other forums that others seem to be experiencing the same problem facing the screen blinking but have found no solution, can anyone here help in any way. It's very annoying when your windows are blinking when moving from space to space and can inconveniently slow things down.

How to fix the mouse and keyboard freezing when installing Windows 7 on 27' iMac late 2013?

Hi, I have a question for u guys who can solve this.
I recently bought the new 27' iMac late 2013, and I installed some softwares and used it for few days.
Before I bought this I used the 15' Macbook Pro Retina, I installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, and I used the Windows for gaming.
So back to my question.
So I bought the new iMac and I was tying to install Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit (with the same CD).
After dividing the partition, and other stuff, the iMac rebooted and I hold down the option (alt) key. I choose the Windows CD, and it said it is "getting ready to install Windows". I let it load, and the blue screen where you choose the language, time/location and keyboard input popped up. At the bottom right corner (at the same page), there is a button that said "Next (N)" which u need to click it to go to the next step. I was moving my mouse to click the button, but I realized that my mouse and keyboard was frozen. I tried both wireless and wired mouse and keyboard but they didn't work. There was nothing I could do. I hold the power button, (that was the only option) and tried my mouse and keyboard on Mac OS and it worked fine.
I thought something went wrong in the CD so I bought the Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. The result was same. It frizzed again. (I just wast few hundred $)
Latter my friend lend me his Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit. I tried it, and it worked, it didn't freezed on Windows 8.
The problem is I played Battlefield 4, Titan fall, and Watch Dogs, and Battlefield 4 multiplayer doesn't work on Windows 8.1. Even though when it works on Windows 8, I prefer using Windows 7.
Dose anyone knows how to fix this freezing thing?
My computer is:
27' iMac late 2013 (bought it just few days ago)
I did no upgrades when I bought it, except the graphic card.
I bought the iMac in Korean Apple Store, and my Windows CD is in Korean, can that be a problem?

In addition to the Windows disc (or USB flash drive with the Windows installer) you'll need a 8GB+ flash drive.
