How to fix vowel placement in Adobe Gurmukhi?

I am using Adobe InDesign CS2. I bought the Adobe Gurmukhi font package. The vowels look good in my word processing program, but when I use the font in InDesign the siharis end up on the wrong side of the letters and most other vowel marks are too far to the right. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks! Strangely enough my other Gurmukhi fonts work fine in CS2. But I'll give it a try.
There have been many, many ways to build fonts that support correct placement of tone marks/vowel marks/accent marks/etc over the years. If your other fonts work in CS2, I would bet that they use one one of the many duct-tape-y hacks that we used back in the Old Days, before widespread support of advanced OpenType font rendering for well-encoded fonts. Notably, plain-vanilla CS2 has no World-Ready Composer and no way to handle complex script rendering.
I did a fair bit of work for Punjabi clients back in the CS3 era, and my main usefulness to them was figuring out exactly which hacky techniques were being used to get correct font display in some-but-not-all applications, and what exactly we had to do to get 'em working in all of their suite of day-to-day applications.

Quit Creative Cloud desktop application and close All Adobe applications.
Follow below steps :

Does any one know how to fix this? My adobe Acrobat 10.1.12 opens and then crashes after about 5 seconds. Just upgraded to Yosemite.

I downloaded Yosemite and I use CS5.5. after much wrangling with Java I can now open photoshop, illustrator and indesign.
However acrobat 10.1.12 as soon as I open a document it crashes 5 seconds later. Any one know how to fix this?

I am basically just wondering how I go about fixing this issue. I am installing the trial of CS6, on top of CS5.5. When I start the installation of CS6 I get an error for Adobe Flash Player 4.6 saying it is conflicting with a previous version. How do I fix this issue? I have seen references to a CS Tool Cleaner, but I do not want to mess up my previous software versions.

Usually Acrobat is looking for the settings files as I recall. The problem is typically that they are located in a folder to which you as a user do not have access. You can open Distiller and see if you have access to the settings files there. You may either need to set the access to the folder where the files are located, or copy them to a new location and activate them in Distiller. Then go to the printer properties and select your default settings. At least this is what I would try.

Unfortunately, I do not own an iOS device and from my understanding, you have to have a developer account just to be able to test apps on your device, even if you have no intention of ever publishing something on the store. Correct me if Im wrong on that, but everything I have seen is that the only way to test apps without a developer account is to have a jailbroken device.
I have been building an audiobook player on and off for a while now and tested it on a Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, and Nexus 5 in addition to my Moto X. None of those ever experienced any noticeable delays in playback. That is why I was wondering if it is a per device issue. Or it could be that I have just always used vanilla (or extremely close to it) Google Android devices. I understand that the devices I have tested with are most likely in a very low percentage of active devices used aside from the Moto X. Adobe Muse Tablet Design Showing on Laptop - HOW TO FIX???

I've created a few websites that have all 3 design platforms built out (desktop, tablet, phone) and they all work well, but there is one issue that I need help with. On laptops, the sites show up in the tablet design. I've read other forum threads on this, followed a few directions on how to fix it, chatted with Adobe Support, just rebooted the computer and uploaded the sites again, and nothing seems to work. Does anyone know of a surefire way to correct this from happening on laptops? I also understand that laptops with touchscreen capabilities are the ones mostly being affected by this bug.
HELP!

Every other Creative Suite Application was successfully downloaded. I keep getting Installation Failed when attempting the Photoshop install. How does one correct this?

Thanks Jeff! So, it totally appears as if it was a network issue. The corporate network where I work is quite likely the culprit. Where I was thrown off is that since I have admin rights on my computer, I can install software. But using Adobe Application Manager to install Adobe software wasn't working. And to make matters worse, there didn't appear to be any way to install Acrobat Pro for Mac without using AAM. The workaround that I used previously was to install the trial versions of Adobe software, and then just register them using my username and password. But the workaround for being able to install everything using AAM was to bring my computer home and download from my home network.

First check the version of the document with Jongware's script "Identify.jsx" (ExtendScript/JavaScript).

If it is CS 5.5 or above, you need someone to open it in the version the script says and export an IDML representation from that. Another way would be to install a 30days version of CS6 or above (CC) and do it yourself.
In regards of the script showing a result for InDesign files higher than CS6:
CS7 = CC v9
CS8 = CC v10 = CC-2014 or CC2014.1
