How to fix web part zone width?

I would like to fix the web part zone width on a SharePoint page such that it is not overridden by any web part. Irrespective of me adding a smaller or larger webpart, the zone width should remain the same. I am ok if that introduces scroll bars. I tried giving the zone width, but currently the Content Editor web part width overrides that (a user gave a larger width in the Appearance section than the web part zone width).
Is there a way to do that?

Hi Sanjeev,
Do you need this done in a particular page or is it for a lot of pages in your site? Either way, you can add custom CSS to make it a fixed width. For example:
#your_webpart_zone_id
width: 400px;
overflow: auto;
The overflow statement above should render scrollbars within the web part zone if any web part width is more than the web part zone width.
If you need this for just few pages, then I'd recommend that you add a CEWP on those pages and add the above CSS through the Source Editor of the CEWP. But, if you need this on every page, then you can add the custom css in your master file to affect all pages.
Use a DOM inspector to find the id or class of the web part zone easily. I hope this answers your question.

I just installed a new OSX system and used migration to move apps.
I have done this several times over the past years without flaw. This time Creative Cloud is not allowing me access.
CONFIGURATION ERROR 16
I have tried resetting permissions on /Library/Applicaiton Support/Adobe.
Have run Disk Utilities permissions repair.
Used the Adobe Cleaner for all apps.
Re-downloaded the CC Installer.
Adobe Application Manager will not run either.

How to fix agent configuration failed

I am trying to add target host to em 12c, on the last step
I got ERROR: Agent Configuration Failed SEVERE: Agent port passed by user is busy and
cannot proceed with the configuration. Pass a free port and retry the configuration.
I use add manually option, before this add, I have tried to add agent to the same host, due to
lack of space, I removed the old installation and also removed the parameters in oraInventory.
Please help me to solve it. Thanks!

- Verify that the port is open via iptables (or other host based firewall or network based firewall)
- Verify that the agent binary isn't running. You can use 'lsof' utility to see if any processes have the agent TCP port.

How to restore the default web configuration in Lion

Hi guys so I was messing around with apache/php/mysql, and after trying to enable openssl I think i made a mistake because when I try to enable web sharing by checking off the checkbox under system preferences it just turns back off right away. If i go to 127.0.0.1 it doesn't work and neither does the localhost. I could try going through the httpd.conf files to fix it if someone could help me with that but I'd rather just try starting over, so i was wondering if there's a command to restore the web configuration back to factory settings. I know there's one for lion server which is $ sudo serveradmin command web:command=restoreFactorySettings Is there anything similar i could do in Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4??

In 3.6.8,One web page turns into 10 or more reloaded pages of the same in my history, how to fix?

This happens mainly when I'm in a MSN web page. For instance, I'll click on a link in the news section, and I'll notice that once the page is loaded the loading circle is still spinning...and spinning...and spinning. When I go to use the Back button, nothing happens. I look at the history and 10 copies and counting of that same page are listed there.
Please advise as to how to fix. It's kind of annoying.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins"
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)

You just need to run the Web Server Configuration Tool to connect ColdFusion to IIS. It can be found in the ColdFusion program group off of the Start menu. Be sure to run it "As Administrator".

You can find the connection settings in Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection<br />
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select "No Proxy"

Ok, so when I went in to check the Audio tab of the Sounds and Audio Device Properties, I found the following:-
* Sound Playback Default Device = No Playback Devices.
* Sound Recording Default Device = No Playback Devices.
* MIDI Music Playback Default Device = No MIDI Playback Devices.
All text in this drop-down box were light grey, and therefore unable to be selected or altered.
I also tried playing a cd through Windows Media player, to see if I could get sound a different way. When I put the cd in and clicked on Play, the following message appeared, "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a sound device installed on your PC, it may be in use by another program, or it may not be functoning properly."
Any ideas ? I had sound previously, but then a work colleague re-built the PC to add more space to the hard drive, and since then, no sound. I know this may now not just be an iTunes issue, but I would appreciate any assistance you can offer.

Mozilla, like many other software companies, thoroughly test their software before releasing it to the public and I'm sure that no problem you are having is intentional.
I do not work for Mozilla but I do have experience of releasing software for public usage.
Firefox has no way of knowing what other software is already on your computer and with millions of combinations it isn't always possible to test for every scenario.
You can go back to the old version of Firefox but that won't always solve your problem.

When I go to SYSTEM PREFERENCES > NETWORK i don't see "iPhone" in the list of Services (AirPort, Ethernet, etc.)
If I try to add a new service (by clicking + ) iPhone doesn't show up in the list of "interfaces" available.
That sounds a bit weird because iTunes can normally sync-up, backup and recover my iPhone.By the way "Personal Hotspot" is already set.
