How to for a newbie to LR

I am new to LR 1.3.1. I am using Windows Vista. I have been away from photo editing and decided to jump back in with LR. I have the following questions/issues:
I have saved files from camera onto a cd. I then imported the pics to LR. I then did necessary editing/deleting of pics from lr. Is my work saved when I take the disk out? How do I save the images individually? I the images are automatically saved, where can I find them?
In addition the stacking does not work (greyed out) what could be the problem?

Select a photo and then Show in Explorer. This will give you the path that it is on, and where on your HDD. Did you choose import to new location? If you didn't, your images may be still on only the CD, but if you chose to "Delete from Disk" and it let you, that's a good sign they're on the internal drive. If not, you will want to import them onto the HD now.
Editing changes are contained in your .lrcat file.

The data provider here is REPORT_TEST1. Now it only prints the corresponding data for the data proviedr 1 i.e., REPORT_TEST1. I have a second table whose data comes from the data provider 2 when i use this HTML to print I want the second table contents from the data provider 2 (REPORT_TEST2)also to be printed simlutaneously.
Please help.

Hi,
Try assigning two values seperated by a delimiter ( say '|') to the same parameter.
In the function get the parameter value and seperate the values using the same delimiter.

I have my iMac G3 set up with three partitions like you are proposing.
I'd recommend getting virtual box on your new Mac. You can install the latest Linux version easier this way.
The problem is finding a PPC distro you like. I forget how I configured the Linux boot manager, yaboot. I may have skipped it or had it installed in the linux partition.
Ubuntu
The Ubuntu folks stopped supporting the power PC a while back. You will have to install an older version of Ubuntu.

Warranty and Support are only valid in the country of origin. You will need to take the device to whatever country it originally came from.
Apple will not accept shipments from outside the country nor will they return it to an address outside the country.

Rarcrack - how long for the file with 400 MB ?

I'm trying to get the password in the encrypted file with 400 MB. It's more time I thought.
If someone have used the program, rarcrack, can you tell me know that get the password with special characters ?
For example:
The encrypted file with 400MB + the passwords "?_123_123_abc_@theworld".
How long for that ?

Does rarcrack know how long the pass-phrase is or not?
Also, are you using a dictionary/removing obvious choices of pass-phrase to help speed up the process OR are you brute-forcing every single pass-phrase from the ASCII alpha-numeric alphabet + punctuation?
TL;DR: Assuming I've done the Maths correctly, a damn sight longer that you might have thought
Since you haven't said, I'm going to assume YES to the first question and I'm assuming you're brute forcing, to make the maths simpler.
For one character position you're looking at about 26 lower case + 26 upper case + 10 digits + 10 punctuation marks of some sort. So that's 72 characters. You've got 22 characters in the passphrase, so that's a potential of 72^22 = 7.26632672153 x 10^40 pass-phrase combinations.
Now let's assume you're doing this on modern hardware, with an SSD on a single machine which can process something at the rate of 200MB/s. That's two seconds a pass. That'll take you about 2.01842408931 x 10^37 hours.
Disclaimer: I'm working off the assumption that encryption has been used, and that rarcrack would decrypt the whole file on each attempt (pass-phrase protection and encryption are different things...). I don't actually know how it works, but for those that do know how it does, you can probably work out the time from the number of pass-phrase combinations.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
