How to format the spacing in month view

I am refering to the month view.
I would like to be able to position items in the approximate position relative to the time of day. So something that occurs first thing will appear at the top of the box and the last thing near the bottom of the box and at noon in the middle of the box. With gaps inbetween.
Also, I would like to be able to have the very first line in the top of the box be where I am located, Like Paris or NY, NY with no bullet point.
Is there a way I can do these things? I am aiming for a calendar that I can print for record purposes.

How display two-line descriptions in month view

In the iCal version in Snow Leopard, it was possible to display a two-line description of an event in month view. Is there a way to do that in the version included with OS 10.9 and 10.10? The descriptions now are so truncated it can be hard to understand what they refer to. Also, the text of the descriptions in month view no longer is in the color of the calendar they are assigned to (except for all-day events). Instead, the descriptions are marked with tiny dots. This makes it much more difficult to distinguish between event types. Apple seems to be changing its apps for some misguided sense of aesthetics instead of emphasizing utility.

I have the same question. One workaround is to copy an existing two-line event to the day that you want to create a new event. Then edit that to change it to the event name you want. This seems to work even though just typing a new name truncates it to one line.
I hope someone can provide a more elegant solution.

Hi Michela,
since the VI you want to modify is part of a Toolkit, I suggest you to copy the whole block diagram in a new VI and then save it in a new location.
Place the DB List Tables.vi on a block diagram, double click on it and go to the tab "Window -> Show Block Diagram "
Select "Edit -> Select All" to select the whole block diagram and select "Edit -> Copy"
Open a new VI and select "Edit -> Paste"
Save the new VI
In this way you can modify everything you want without overwriting the Toolkits VIs.

How to format the value in narrative ?

In table or pivot property, I have set the separator for measure , but in narrative, the format will be disappeared. So how to implement this requirment?

If you want this format as the default display format for this column everywhere, then you can save that format as default display format for the column or data type (Lower right corner of data format tab: "Save as Default" button, "Save as the system-wide default for "Table"."Column"). When I had the problem the narratives did use the default display format.
Another workaround could be a direct database call to convert the data to a string. For example, in Oracle
EVALUATE('TO_CHAR(%1,%2)' AS CHAR(30), “Table".“Column" ,'$9,999.00')
but you may need to set EVALUATE_SUPPORT_LEVEL in your nqsconfig.ini, and this ties you to the database technology.

Im trying to publish some measurement data with LabVIEW webservice and read the data with Android client. However i have some problems with the XML output from the LabVIEW webservice.
I want to publish the data in in this form:

In ur code is HTREE$ is of type varchar2 or ITEM?
Give valid parameter for item_name/item_id.
This code will be usefull to add/change the icon of the node. You can show the 16x16 image (gif, ico based on your forms_home\forms\java\oracle\forms\registry\Registry.dat file) before the tree item's node lebel.
I tried in this way to get the "Favourites" node label as *"Favourites"* (Bold).
I make *"Favourites"* as a gif icon (16 x 270) and added it as a node icon. but it shows 16 x 16 of my image.
So using this code u cannot format the font of the tree's parent node.

Sunday as the first day of the week in month view on the iTouch

Does anyone know how to change Sunday to the first day of the wek in the month view of the calendar on itouch?
BTW, I have selected Sunday as the first day of the week in ical on my imac which syncs the ipod itouch. Am I forgetting something or is there a hidden preferences page?

OMG! How bizzarre, another quirk of the "Region Fortmats" setting.
*Settings > General > International > Region Format*
If I set mine to U.K. (where I happen to live), Monday is apparently the first day of the week on the calendar and I have no 12/24 hour clock option.
If set to U.S., Sunday is the first day and the 12/24 hour clock option is available.
I guess changing the Region is your answer.

How to make published calendar show month view by default?

I have a published calendar that I put into an iframe on a website. Unfortunately, it comes up in week view by default. I know that if you click on month view, it gives you a new URL that you could copy and use, but that URL is specific to a month and so when we get to April, for instance, the default calendar view would be month, but would still display March's calendar. Is there something else I can put in the URL to make the default view to the actual, current month?

How to Change the Spacing Between Bullets on a List

I used to use Microsoft Expression and I could change the spacing between bullets on a list by formatting the paragraph and changing the spacing. In Contribute I don't see how to do that. I tried to Edit Roles under Administer Websites so it would be 2 lines after paragraph, but that doesn't help. So if I want to increase the spacing between bullets on a list, how do I do that in Contribute?

How to Format the fetched data from rowSetInfo?

I got a scrollable rowSet to access data for
printing manually. Now i need to format the
data for data, currency, and...
for example the date data in rowset is
"2000-12-4 10:11:30" and i want to format
it as "12/4/200".
the formaterinfo property will do that only
to view on screen and not in rowSet level.

I always get the values for the FIRST row.
(That's the reason I was always getting '99-03-24' date which is in my first record)

I also tried getting the current row values from the ViewObject as shown below:
ViewObject vo = applicationModule.findViewObject("View1");
Row curr = vo.getCurrentRow();
Object o = curr.getAttribute("BuildingId");
System.out.println(o.toString());
This ALWAYS takes me to the FIRST row as in the above case !!
I don't know how can I ever get to that!

Events are missing in the calendar in Month view in Blend

Bug
Initial condition :
The blend software is running. The calendar view is opened.
Action :
Select the month view.
Expected result :
All events are displayed for each day.
Obtained result :
The events of the previous month are missing.

Having the same problems where the UI elements are missing in the layout screen.
using the Show/Hide layout Preview Button I get an Program cannot display the web page.
The server is on a different box . Tried running the sapgui from a vista machine and a xp machine and they both have the same problem.
If I run Sapgui on the server box the Show/Hide layout Preview Button does show a subset on the ui elements but not all the examples described in the "ABAP Trial Version for Newbies: Part 18 - Starting with Web Dynpro for ABAP"

How to format the report with the aggregated value

Hi,
I have 2 characteristics and 3 KFs in the infocube.
First field is Cost Center
Second field is creation Date
3rd field is KF1
4th field is KF2
5th field is KF3
I have put the date field( in the row) as this is required for calculating formula for KFs. But I have set that as No display.
The date in the info cube is as follows.
Cost Ceneter Date( no Display)   KF1     KF2      KF3
CC1           01/01/2006          100     150      200
CC1           02/02/2006          75      100      95
CC1           05/02/2006          125      95      125
CC2           01/02/2006          75       25      85
CC2           02/02/2006          85       65      10
As the Date field is in query set to No display so the date appearing in the report is as follows
CC1       100        150        200
          75         100        95
          125          95        125
CC2       75           25        85
          85           65        10
But I want the aggregated value at cost senter level i.e.
CC1       300         245       420
CC2       160         90         95
I can not remove the Date frield from query as there is a formula variable defined on the date field.
Please let me know how to bring the report to the required format.

If you are in new Bex, you can do it.
You will have to create another (set of) CKF on top of the current ones (which do exception aggregation on DOCNUM) and set the exception aggregation on date.
Say you have
CH1--CH2CH3--CKF1
To have a 'before aggregation' behavior for CKF1 when CH3 is not present, you will create a CKF2 = CKF1 with exception aggregation on CH3.
Now, if you want to remove CH2 and have the 'before aggregation' behavior you will need to create another CKF3 = CKF2 with exception aggregation on CH2.
ie for each level of aggregation, you will have to define a new CKF/Formula with corresponding exception aggregation - this is what will be needed to get you your output.

After the page gets loaded, there is a search section in the same page at the top.
Here i will have to build the whereclause to the same query and retrieve the values.
