How to forward an email to Apple

I received an e-mail to my iCloud address which allegedly came from Apple.  When I opened it, there was nothing but foreign characters. The source of the e-mail was [email protected]
I immediately changed my password but I would like to know if there was a way to forward it to Apple for their security department.  Anyone have any ideas?

You can forward it to [email protected]

how to unactive recive email of apple support communities ?

There are instructions on this page on how to stop them from individual threads :
    https://discussions.apple.com/static/apple/tutorial/email.html
If you are getting them from a forum as a whole (as opposed to just individual threads), then towards the top right of that forum page make sure that it says 'receive email notifications' in the Actions box :
If it says 'stop email notifications' then click on it so as to stop them

Yes, I am with KJ, I have no real idea what you are asking about. The app store does not usually have email involved with it.

  • How to make rescue email my apple id

My primary email account will be deleted soon and I would like to make my rescue email (gmail) my account ID. However, I cannot figure out how to do this. I deleted this email from the rescue list but that didn't work. I then added another email as a rescue id, but apple still refused to accept the gmail account as the primary email.
Again, my primary email account (university email) will be deleted in a few weeks so I need to change the apple id.
    Thanks

  • How to Forward Encrypted Email as Clear Text?

In other email clients when I receive an encrypted email, I can forward it to someone else as clear text.
How do I do this in TB? When I attempt to forward an encrypted email, TB creates an S/MIME attachment instead of copying the original unencrypted text.

Your other email client are not working correctly if they will allow that. Serious security breach that is. What client? so I can follow it up with the relevant vendor?
I send you encrypted mail because I want the information secured and encrypted between me and those I have shared my digital signature with. Allowing you to decide to forward my encrypted mail unencrypted to a third party defeats the whole point of encryption and represents a significant security hole.
By forwarding an s/mime attachment, if the third party is entitled to read my encrypted mail they will have the digital signature and therefore will be able to read the content. If they do not have the correct digital signature then they have no right to access the email. A simple way to defeat security breaches through lack of thought on the part of the parties to the communication.

  • How to forward pop3 email account to a new imap account?

For professional reasons, i can only use a pop3 account.
For personal usage, i use two imap accounts. With these two accounts, i don't have any issue.
But the problem is with the pop3 account, because i use at least two/three computers (my pc, my laptop and my wifes laptop).
I've tried to creat a dedicated imap account and MOVEd the pop3 emails inbox to the impa inbox, but it isn't quite want i want.
How can i forward pop3 inbox email account to a imap account, so i can always have up to date pop3 emails on all computers?
    Thanks.

Is the imap account with one of the free providers? something we can point you to such as [https://support.google.com/mail/answer/21289?hl=en Google ], [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/pop-email Hotmail ]in it's many guises and [https://help.yahoo.com/kb/mail/SLN3527.html?impressions=true Yahoo], or a personal server (corporate perhaps) where generalities are needed.

  • How to Block unwanted email from Apple?

My email address is constantly being flooded with iTunes emails every day. They are from the official itunes email address and I'm just getting sick of it. I've tried unsubscribing from the mailing list (I've done this 6 times over the course of two weeks total but to no effect) and even when I mark the email as junk in the mail app on my phone, it still ends up in my Inbox BUT NOT the Junk Folder.
Gonna have to report this email address to my ISP to hard-block if Apple doesn't get their act together.

Thankfully Gmail has some good options for this, after searching around myself.

I guess the native iphone email app doesn't play well with many functions beyond simply reading the email.

  • HT5625 how to know the email address/Apple ID that I used to register my Ipad Mini?I only know my passwords and the Serial Number of the Ipad.

my question is in the titile. please help me

    Hi John Henry Cabatic,
If you can, go to the Apple Store and give them all of your email addresses. Hopefully, you've written down or know the passwords if you still use them. You won't need them there but the one that works is the one Apple will use to communicate with you. (They are changesable, though.)
Did you get an ipod many years ago and used one of the ID's there and then forgot about it? That happened to one of our sons. Apple helped him over the phone.
Texas Mac Man gave you the link which would usually work, but given that they only allow you three trys at it, you'll have a problem. If that's the case, call Apple support.
(I'm not a sir, though I think that was very respectful of you to be so polite. I'm a woman.)
    Hope this helps.

  • How do I stop emails from apple support communities

almost a year ago I turned to apple support communities for a Q. Now a year later long after the problem has since been resolved, I am still getting very annoying updates.  I have tried logging in and changing my preferences, but that did not stop the emails.  I tried bouncing them back...didn't work.  I tried turning to apple "contact us"  but that is not easy without coming here first...Now I fear I may be just starting a new list of emails, but here we go...STOP EMAILING ME!

The Email preferences are not the problem, they only control what will happen they have no affect on what is happening now.
You can identify the source of the email,  the community or thread, in the email. Go to that thread or community and turn off the email notification from there.
If you can'tt identify the particular thread or community from the email follow the instructions in the link King_Penguin posted.

  • How do I stop emails from Apple Communities

So I started a discussion regarding an ongoing problem with my computer and checked off the 'follow' as well as the 'bookmark' buttons so I could easily find it; however, my email is inundated with HUNDREDS of emails every day from numerous conversations going on in Apple Communities.  I can't seem to find where I turn this off.  I've unchecked both the 'follow' and 'bookmark' buttons from the original conversation but the emails still keep coming. Please HELP!

    B&J
You are "Following" an entire Community = iMac (Intel) - therefore, every post in that forum will get you an email notice.
To stop this behavior, instead of NEVER getting an email notice - even from the threads you want to follow or participate in - go to Your Stuff page...
Click BarbAndJim any where you see it > click the [ Communities ] TAB > click the on the right side of the page > click " Following " to UN-follow the iMac (Intel) Community
This will redraw the page and show your success thus...
My personal preference is to only get emails from my participated threads, so I never - ever - click " Follow " anywhere, thread or forum.
    Hope this helps

    CLARIFICATION
By posing the Original Question OR Replying to an existing one, you are AUTOMATICALLY " Following " that thread = GOOD THING - you need take no deliberate action to get notices of participated threads.
