How to forward specific windows live mail (hotmail) folder

Hi everyone,
i'm a new BB user and i have this problem with forwarding e-mails from my windows live account (hotmail).
In there i have multiply folders with filters so e-mails are sorted properly. The problem is that when i get a mail in my inbox it's forwarded to my phone but when it's filterd to a specific folder it's not being forwarded.
So my question is how can i setup it up on my phone so the e-mails from a specific folders are forwarded to the phone?
Tnx.

The BlackBerry is really not designed to work that way.
It is designed to receive mail from your email server direct, pushed to the handheld device.
Doing it your way won't be clean, but regardless, on the sub-folder received emails in Outlook, just set yet another forwarding rule for any email received IN that folder, to be forwarded to another email address, or your device.

  • Can't add Windows Live Mail store folder, as per l...

I used to be able to backup my Outlook Express store folder (on XP) to have an up to date copy of my email, but for some reason I can't do this with Windows Live Mail in Windows 7.
    C:\USERS\logon\LOCAL SETTINGS\APPDATA\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS LIVE MAIL
    (where logon is the user)
When I try to do this using the Add Folder option, it doesn't calculate how much space is required or anything. I navigate to the location and click on the folder, but it simply reverts to the windows that has the <add folder> button.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks..........ebt

You can't back up pst files to BT Cloud as they are dynamic, i.e. constantly being updated.
The same will apply to the Windows Live Mail folder.
You will have to either export it to a static type of file or a zipped file.
There is a section referring to this in the BT Cloud Help. I can't find the exact link but you can do a search, or someone may post the exact link.

The above will take you to the link....I hope.
    Hope this explains the situation.

  • ICloud Mail on Windows Live Mail 2012

    Hi.
I have recently bought a new PC as my old one was showing its age (it was 6 years old). On my old PC (running Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit), I had no issues running iCloud Mail inside Windows Live Mail 2012 using IMAP in the few years
However, for some reason, I keep getting the following error on my new machine (Windows 7 Pro 64Bit):
Your IMAP command could not be sent to the server, due to non-network errors. This could, for example, indicate a lack of memory on your system.
    Configuration:
       Account: iCloud (xxxx)
       Server: imap.mail.me.com
       Username: [email protected]
       Protocol: IMAP
       Port: 993
       Secure(SSL): 1
       Code: 800ccc0f
I copied the whole Windows Live Mail email folder onto the new PC, and all the settings for my iCloud were imported, and worked out of the box (apart from the above issue). All the port/server information seems to work as expected, along with the other settings.
Is there a way I can try and get to the bottom of this issue? The error suggests an issue with memory, and I am running Win 7 Pro on a Core i7 Quad Core Processor with 4GB of RAM, and Im nowhere near this on general browsing.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Try running IE9 w/o Add ons.  Let me know if it works for you.

  • How do I sync with windows live mail 2011?

how Do I sync to windows live mail/contacts/calendar (not hotmail) on iphone4?

Windoze live mail is basically hotmail.
Microsoft followed Google's lead in this regard and now supports accessing a Hotmail or Windows Live Mail account as an Exchange account with the iPhone's Mail app. This provides for push access for received messages, and over the air syncing for contacts and calendar events with your Windows Live Mail online contacts and calendars.  Instructions for doing this should be available via the Live Mail website.

  • Sub-folders and synching from hotmail/windows live mail

    Hi there
I have a hotmail account which I use via my home laptop through Windows Live mail. I have various sub-folders in my hotmail which also appear in my Windows Live mail.
Whilst I can access my inbox and sent items from my iphone I cannot see my subfolders which I need to distribute a large amount of mail to.
Can anyone tell me how I can get these folders to appear on my iphone (3 - not sure which OS).
Also, when I delete items from my iphone they do not delete on my hotmail/live mail. Is there a way of addressing this?
    Thanks!!

To do what you want, you need the mail account to be set up as IMAP, which syncs the contents of the server with your device. It sounds like yours is set up as POP, which doesn't work that way.
I've lost touch with Hotmail, but I saw this which might help (you'll need to set up a new mail account on the phone to make it work)

    Hi,
    Try the following steps:
    1. Check windows updates.
    2. Try the Microsoft Fix it in this kb to remove previous install completely:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501/en-us
    3. Reboot.
    4. Try installing again.
This seems helpful on the issue.
As always, thank you for your suggestion, Don:)

  • How to i go directly to my inbox in windows live mail using firefox

Nothing more than what I've already said. I want to go directly to inbox in windows live mail (my account is actually Hotmail.com) if that makes a difference. I've tried what others have but they have used IE and the options are there from there silly Msn toolbar, but the toolbar is not compatible with Firefox. Please if anyone can help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks Joe

What do you think about using a bookmark? If you display the Bookmarks Toolbar, it's a one-click operation. If you save the bookmark to the Bookmarks menu, it's a two-click operation. You wouldn't need an additional toolbar.
After opening your mailbox, you can drag the padlock icon from the left side of the address bar and drop it on the Bookmarks Toolbar to add the bookmark there. Right-click and choose Properties to edit the name if it's not to your liking. (If you don't normally display the Bookmarks Toolbar, you can show it by right-clicking a blank area of the tab bar and choosing it from the toolbar list.)
Or to add it to your Bookmarks menu, double-click the faded "star" icon after the right end of the URL (or press Ctrl+d) to open the bookmark dialog. Change the folder to Bookmarks Menu if necessary.
Now... I should mention that for this to work in the future, you would need to stay logged in to your mail site (using Microsoft's cookie) or have Firefox or your favorite password filling add-on save your mail login. Otherwise, your bookmark will be diverted to the login page.
    Any luck?
