Hi,
It's look like you are assuming that an organizational model can be created from external data input via a report. If so, then your assumption is wrong. There is no standard way to create a org. model from external input.
As a standard practice SAP provided a report as mentioned in the previous reply. Using this report you can download ECC/R3 org. model into SAP CRM. This is the easy and best proven way of generating org. model in SAP CRM.

How to generate PDF file through reports using forms 6i

Hi all,
I am using oracle 10g with forms 6i and reports 6i.I need to generate pdf file where clicking a button a report should be called and the report should be generated as a .pdf file in the source i have specified(ex. d:\...).Is this popssible with forms?.how can i achieve this.Kindly help me with suitable answers.Thanks :)

regarding report, there is a dedicated report forum. you should post there.
but answer for your question is form is nothing to do with the pdf generation. you can call the report from the as usual.
In the report you should set the properties like
destype to 'file'
desname to 'path with file name'
desformat to 'pdf'

Long runtime when Generate Org model with CRM_R3_ORG_GENERATE. never finish

Hi All,
I tried to generate org.model with CRM_R3_ORG_GENERATE.
But it ran for a long time. For a day and still not finished.
I killed it and did again. Same situation happen.
I see process is running and use almost CPU time.
Is this normal for this transaction? Can we tune it up?
Note that our R/3 sale structure is quite large. The system is used by global.

You can download organization from R3 to CRM in the following way.
go to SPRO -> Customer Relationship Management -> Master Data -> Organization Management -> Data Transfer -> Copy SAP ECC Sales Structure. This is the place from where you can replicate the sales structure from ECC. You can have a look at the IMG Implementation Guide for a more detailed information.
As for the BP not coming as an Organization, you need to activate the switch to integrate the BP and Organization functionality. The link for the same is given below:
SPRO -> Customer Relationship Management -> Master Data -> Business Partner -> Integration Business Partner-Organization Management --> Set up Intergration with Organization Management . Here you need to activate the following Switch - HRALX OBPON ON Integration O-BP Activated.

How to generate a row in report to compute total?

I need help to generate a report. In an accounting report, I need to make sum for each client regarding outstanding balance. The format of report is following:
invoice#, invoice date, invoice amount, paid amount paid date, write off, outstanding balance
Client Name: Baker Express / Debtor Name: Kurt Weiss inc.
137308001, 04/18/2012, 438.07, 537.07, 06/05/2012, , (99)
137308002, 04/18/2012, 100, 90, 06/05/2012, 10,
client Total: total payment:627.07, total outstanding balance: (99)
another client and debtor pair
My question is how to generate total payment and total outstanding balancefor every pair of client and debtor. And there are multiple pairs. I tried to use group by, but how can I display every invoice tuple as well in the report?

How to display the drill through report in a new browser seperate window

I am working on a drill through report which should run when I select the column value from the main report. The drill through report I am working on is Centerline Validate Angles for a specific line. It has 2 parameters, Pods ID and Angle. Main report supplies
these 2 values. Right now, I am having an issue in displaying the drill through report in a seperate window. I have selected Go To URL option from the text box properties in main report and gave the expression as

How to generate a PDF format report

here i am trying to generate the report as 'PDF' format from the form. after i run the form a parameter form comes up there i give parameter as 'IC' it should get only the IC related report in 'PDF' format. i could do this but after i close the adobe and return to the report its not over writing on the same file where i gave the DESNAME:='C:\KAVITHA8.PDF'. its taking atleast 10 minutes to rewrite on the same file.
i tried first the following way to get the PDF format output but its not even working.

THIS IS NOT WORKING TOO.

All the information you described points to the problem that reports seems can't generate to a file which already exist. You can verify that by simply doing
r30run32 C:\AC_REPORT.REP DESTYPE = FILE DESFORMAT = PDF BATCH = YES' desname=c:\temp\ac_report.pdf
several times. If first time the report is successfully generated in c:\temp\ac_report.pdf, but not the second, third time, then it looks like there is a bug on reports r30run32 executable.
You may try to find any latest patch for Reports 3.0 to see if patch can solve you problem. But keep in mind Reports 3.0 is de-supported, you are better to move to 6i or 9i reports.

How to generate WPF Xaml through XSD (xml schema definition)

I am working on Projects where we need to generate wpf ui (xaml) at runtime as per different requirements. We are trying to generate xaml from xsd file. We are able to generate UI from xml but as size of xml can be large we are reluctant to use xml as xaml
generation source. I am attaching a sample image what we are trying to do
UI elements Description
For each complex node in xsd, we need a panel which can have add or delete button depending on minoccurs and maxoccurs of the node. Inside panel we want to add different ui elements.
Please suggest if there is any way to do this or any one have worked in this direction?

I should think you could use xsl on xsd to generate xaml.
I have used xsl on xml to do this sort of thing - for reporting style stuff.
Xsd is just an odd kind of xml so I should think that's do-able.
Failing that.
You could use the template approach and generate xml from that but use c# to read the xsd.
You would have like a textbox template etc.
Is that UI truly representative?
You could leverage the approach I use in this:

The EditRow user control has label + editing control as a pair.
You would add another control for that pattern thing I see in grey after some of those.
But you could essentially iterate the fields in an xsd , decide what control to use based on field type.
Set the label....
Add that to a Listbox.
You have a big bunch of xsd and you're thinking of generating the UI?
I suppose you could then use icustomtypeprovider to generate matching viewmodels inheriting some base vm functionality.
I don't follow how a "supporting dll" comes into this.
Could you explain?

How To Edit Failed IDocs Through Report ?

I have the requirement of editing (Modifying) IDocs through a report program..
( My program displays the content of a specified segment of failed IDocs in the ALV format..
Then the changes made to those fields in ALV have to be updated in those failed IDocs.. So that i can reprocess the IDocs.. )
Is there any BAPI or BADI or Any other solution to edit IDocs through a report....??
I dont want to use BDC as the report program is meant for editing huge number of failed IDocs..
