Hi,
Check whether you have activated Withholding tax for your company code and country. Each country has
its own versions like India has Country India Version. Check with SAP the version for Pakistan whether
there is any country specific functionality. Ofcourse, you can use the other versions if the same
parameters suits the tax classification if your country.

can anyone tell where i can find libraries for access/manipulate beans.

Hi Shruthi,
One you have created F8 it has to be pushed to GTS this F8 doc create custom Shipment document in GTS on this document you have to configure a mesage type determiantion which will print Commercial Invoice.
Thorugh Communication Process setting ( PPF) ( SPRO Customs Mgmt --->Comm Process )
Detail step :
Define Tech Med for Msgs ( PPF) for Custom Shipment and Decalration ( If any messages required)
2.Define Condition and Output Parameters for Comm Of Cust ship & Decl.
3.Define Messages For Comm Process.
4. Define Control Settings of Communication Process
Process Templates, Process, Activities,Messages,Activity Seq,Subsequent Activity ,
5.Determination Of Activity Sequence.
6.Classify Foreign Trade Document.( For messages)
7.Define Standard Text and Logo For Printing Document ( If reqd for mesages)
8.Print Control For Foreign Document .
Set the parameter defined under in GTS Main Menu *"(Customs Processing Import Export/Message Parameters) Message Determination *"
Action profile you have choosen to define your action def has to be assigend to
custom doc type CULOEX or which ever you are using
SAP native /SAPSLL/PF_US_COM_IN Pdf form is available for CI you can create custom if you need more fileds on it.

I need to build a smartform that generates a remittance and a check. Has anyone done this and if so, can you share the code that generates the MICR or advise me how to get the MICR symbols on the check?

Thank you for the OSS note tip. I see in the note that if you're using MICR_C font for example, then I'm assuming you would code the 'D','A','B', etc. characters in your smartform and somehow our Troy/HP MICR printer would recognize these special codes and interpret them. However, do you have an example of how the actual smartform layout and 'code' might look?

How to generate excel file in oracle forms 10g on client machine

dear Sir,
I am using just file server(installed 10g dev suite) not a oracle application server,
I am running my application from another machine ,it running fine i want to generate excel report on client machine
presently i m using OLE2 for fetching the data in excel , it is working fine but it generates the excel file on file server machine and i want get the output excel on the client machine. aftre OLE2 i m using CLIENT_OLE2 with webutil (instead of OLE2) its get compile successfully but during runtime it give error "oracle.forms.webutil.ole.OleFunctions bean not "found.CLIENT_OLE2.create_obj will not work"
*so please tell me without oracle application server is this possible or not .*

your webutil on server side is not configured
you need to re install the webutil jacob.dll files etc. then it will work fine..
you can also generate excel file using reports to change the destination format in SPREADSHEET

Of course you have to use the standard servlet classes to retrieve the request parameters from the form.
ie request.getParameter();
package "java.io" gives you File input/output ability.
If you are generating a text file, thats probably the BufferedWriter and FileWriter classes.

Difference in TDS and Challan

Hi
I have posted TDS entry and Challan entry.
But we do have a difference.
All the Business place and section code are posted correctly and no document is parked.
TDS is for Rs.10,50,000 and challan report shows only Rs.10,45,000
The questions are
1) How to find out the difference and the document number that caused the differnce?
2) How to rectify the error?
There are more than 3000 vendors available in this TDS.

Hi Srikaanth,
First you have to find out in which section Difference is coming, afterthat Execute the j1incert for challan without recipient type.
i think the difference is coming only because of recipient type is not updated in vendor master and due to that it is not picking in challan when you put recipient type.
so first thing you have to find out the difference as per the section wise.
