How to get a Data Plan for a Macbook
I have a 2008 white Macbook, and am looking to get a data plan to connect to the internet while in a rural area that has excellent cell-phone reception. I see that companies like Verizon and AT&T have data plans, but I can't figure out what I need to actually have and do to make those plans work on my Macbook.
Do I need a special card or any other additional hardware?
What is a good data plan that has no annual contract?
How do I actually go about signing up for it (the wireless companies' websites are confusing)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm with Verizon and they have USB devices that work very well for what you want to do. I admit that the website is not to good for finding information but if you can go into a Verizon Store, they will be able to get you fixed up on a data plan which usually includes a free USB device. I suggest Verizon as a carrier because AT&T's rural coverage is not to good.

I know with a new iPad it is usually a simple matter to use the Settings app on the iPad.
Settings > Cellular Data > there's a link to set up your account.
If it doesn't show call your carrier and ask to set up an account there.

Looking to get a data plan for the sole purpose of playing online video games

I live in the mountains of Pine Valley, CA and the seclusion is becoming intolerable. I'm looking to get a data plan with Verizon to play online video games, namely Diablo 3 or failing that due to latency, then Civilization 5. Can anyone give me pointers on if this would work and what plan I could get? Currently, I have a plan with Boost Mobile which uses Sprint cell phone towers. I tested my internet connection with speedtest.net and received a ping as low as 140 and as high as 1000, but I'm hoping the 1000 is just due to reception issues that can be fixed with a better antenna. The 140 ping is a little high too but I'm hoping this will be better on the Verizon network since I think their cellphone towers are closer. The closest landmark to me is the Golden Acorn Casino at 1800 Golden Acorn Way Campo, CA 91906. If anyone could tell me the distance from Verizon's cell tower to the casino and Sprint's and could estimate a ping value based on that, I would really appreciate it.
I like Verizon's data plan for 10gb but I'm confused on device connectivity. Is this the data plan plus whatever router device I hook it up to? I would also need some sort of antenna and a router, wireless or wired. Can anyone give me pointers on how to find these? An considering the antenna is more power and outside you're a lot more likely to get reception with Homefusion. In either case it should be noted you'll need to pass a credit check and sign a two year contract.

I assume you want to get the period date(mm/dd/yyy) between the select month(e.g:Feb) and the given date (10/1/2014) and you should get the date between(02/01/2014-10/1/2014).

You can create an new parameter "BeginDate" (Date/Time) which is the begin date of the period, you can use the expression to get the value based on the value of the month and the year value from the given date,finally hide this parameter:

Xfinity is a cable provider that offers Internet and voice as well. If you don't have a 3G or 4G iPad, you don't have a data plan at all. Is your iPad a 3G or 4G iPad or WiFi only?
If its Wifi only, the only reason that you would need a data plan is if you have a mobile hotspot like a MIFI device. AT&T data plan on the iPad would have nothing at all to do with having AT&T service for your home. -

Here is a SQL*Plus script I call MostCPUIntensiveSQLDuringInterval.sql (nice name eh?)
You'll need to know the AWR snap_id numbers for the time period of interest, then run it like this to show the top 20 SQLs during the interval:

To get only the changed data in the ALV grid of a WD, you need to capture the "ON_DATA_CHECK" of the ALV grid.
To this please do the following in the ALV initialization of the ALV table settings :
lr_table_settings->set_data_check(
IF_SALV_WD_C_TABLE_SETTINGS=>DATA_CHECK_ON_CELL_EVENT ).
You may also do this:
lr_table_settings->set_data_check( IF_SALV_WD_C_TABLE_SETTINGS=>DATA_CHECK_ON_CHECK_EVENT)
The above two ways would depend on when do you need to check for the changed data. If you want to check the data as soon as it is entered, then use the first method. Else, use the second method.
You need to register an EVENT HANDLER for this event.(You may do this in your VIEW or Component Controller).
In this Event handler, you would find an importing parameter R_PARAM which is a ref type of IF_SALV_WD_TABLE_DATA_CHECK.
The attribute T_MODIFIED_CELLS of this interface IF_SALV_WD_TABLE_DATA_CHECK will contain the modified cells of the ALV with the old & new values. -

can any one say me how to get the date of first day(date of Sunday) of a week for a given date in a BW transformations. For example for 02/23/2012 in source i need to get 02/19/2012(Sunday`s date) date in the result. I can get that start date of a week using BWSO_DATE_GET_FIRST_WEEKDAY function module. But this function module retrieves me the start date as weeks monday(02/20/2012) date. But i need sundays(02/19/2012) date as the start date. So it would be really great if anyone sends me the solution.

The simplest way would be to subtract 1 from the date date which you are already getting in transformation routine, but instead of doing that subtraction manually which might need bit of errort, you can simply use another FM to subtract 1 from given date.
