How to get a normal VGA screen to be recognised, and run a 2nd screen?
I have a 3 month old Macbook, so it must be one of the latest. Just purchased a mini display port to VGA adaptor, and plugged in my Compaq/HP Monitor. No activity; power light continues to flash as if there is no signal.
Tried "Apple-icon" | System preferences | Detect displays (which is more or less equivalent of Windows XP, etc), and it wont recognise a second screen. The help menu seems to think its just a straight forward plug in - though old posts here seem to talk about all manner of problems.
Nearest Apple Shop 100 miles away, so am reliant on your help.
I had assumed (innocently?) that Apple had sorted this out and made it a simple connect. Has anyone any ideas.
Oops. Sorry everyone, faulty connection at the Apple end - problem solved. Have to watch that, even if brand new cable!
Works first time now, as a mirrored screen. Plus putting 'screens' on menu bar made choices of resolution that much easier.

Restore the phone on the same computer it was last synced to and it will not require the unlock code.
If you don't have access to that computer you will have to use Recovery mode, which will wipe all content. See: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808 -
When I try to print an address from Address Book on an envelope, the printer menu shows the menu from IPhoto. All other print requests show the normal pinter menu. How do get the normal print menu?

Are any of your other applications going wonky, or is it just Logic?
I'm afraid I've never heard of this particular problem before, but if it were happening to me the first thing I would do is delete my "com.apple.logic.express.plist" file in Library>Preferences, then repair permissions in Disc Utility, and finally restart my computer. Then I would launch Logic and see if the problem has been corrected. It's amazing how much these two steps can accomplish.
If that doesn't resolve the issue I would launch Logic and go to Preferences>Audio Units Manager to see if all my plug-ins are properly validated. -

When I open a pdf file, after a few seconds, it hides the toolbar and I don't know how to get it back. I use multiple monitors and, without being able to grab the toolbar, I am unable to move the pdf file to a different monitor. How do I stop this?
Does Firefox switch to full screen if you press F11 ?
You can also try the F10 key to see if that brings up the menu bar.

And i have other question, in print label we have an option to auto rotate to feet in page to have the image using the maximum area in the page (auto rotate, zoom etc), its possible to change the orientation of the rotation to be always in the other direction?The Muvos are USB Mass Storage devices and do not have the ability to display track information based upon ID3 tags.
The Zens all read and display track info based upon ID3 tag information that is either gathered from an online source or entered by the end-user.
If you want the track information displayed instead of the ID3 tag information, you could edit the ID3 tags and rename the title to whatever you have as the file name. Not sure why your file names would differ so much from the ID3 tag info though, almost all of my content has the same name for the filename as it does on the ID3 tag title. -

If you mean you accidentally removed the icon for iMovie from the Dock (the array of icons at the bottom of the window), you can add it back easily.
Open the Applications folder (if you open it from the Dock you may then need to click the Open in Finder icon), locate the iMovie program.
Drag the icon for iMovie down to the Dock, somewhere between the icon for Finder and the dashed line toward the right.
Wait for the icons at that spot to move aside, then drop it in. -

Your VI looks like you started from an example, and you are on the right track.
To clarify are you trying to synchronize the input and the output waveforms? If you you will need to share a time base and a start trigger. Check out the synchronization examples from LabVIEW
