How to get a refund for my customer?

A customer named Sharon Walters accidentally purchased my 364 Pro Presets Bundle twice.  If you need her email address I can provide that, I am just reluctant to post it publicly.  Can the Adobe staff that reads this message please refund one of her orders?  She is being very very nice about this and was even willing to write it off, but it is my personal belief that she should get a refund for the accidental second purchase.

Yes we can refund the customer, ideally if you or her can email us at [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> we can process the refund.
Doing it via forums delays things so for customer issues with Add-Ons please use [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>.

  • Has anyone else spent 4 hours trying to figure out how to get a refund for extra iCloud storage you accidentally purchased?

    Has anyone figured out how to actually get a refund for iCloud extra storage? I accidentally purchased too much extra storage. The supports site says "Cancel storage not needed" within 15 days.  But there is no instructions on HOW to do that. I have searched for hours for instructions. I did Express Lane Case #s only to have Apple Support "close" these cases with a "resolution" that they told me to visit their support sites. I am in a loop! I have had 3 Case numbers for this with no one giving me the credit refund. I finally was given a phone number.  Been on hold so long my cell dropped the call and had to start over...3 times. Of course, all very nice people who took my phone number in case they need to call me back and then never called me when I lost the call. None of them had the security level for refunds so I had to be sent on to the next person and then the next, all with rediculously long hold times. I finally gave up for the night. Tried to "chat" online, but the only option is to "Chat Later" when I feel like trying again. Again, no explanation on why that is the only option showing (too busy, closed for the night?). Is the ploy here for me to realize I already spent more hours of my time than the cost of the error and I'll eventually give up? On this site I did see someone post a refund resolution for MobileMe. Those instructions are not working for iCloud storage canceling. There was no "choice" to click for canceling that I saw.

    I did get this resolved the next day. So the solution is to not try to resolve this in the evening, the were understaffed. I called the next day during business hours and had the opposite experience. I got in and was only on hold 5 min. Again the first support person could not give refunds and I was passed on to her supervisor, but again the hold time was reasonable. This person was very easy to work with and she took care of the issue. I explained that it was not completely clear that the cloud is not meant to be backup for all your pc files, thus the reason for so many cancelations once we get it and find out what it cannot store. The online support sites could do a better job telling you that refunds require phone calls (during days hours).

    Does anyone know how to get a refund on a faulty iTunes card? The number is basically illegible. The FAQ is useless, and every time I try to find a proper email contact, or similar method of contacting a HUMAN in Customer Support, I keep getting shunted back to the idiotic start screen.
    Under Australian law, I am entitled to a refund if something is faulty.

    Unfortunately, Final Draft is not compatible with Russian fonts. We hope to add support for more fonts in the future. If you need to return the program to Apple for a refund you will need to check with them for the exact process since it uses their App store system. You should be able to return it for a refund as we have had people with similar issues in the past and they have been able to return it to the App store.

    You probably cannot get a refund. The terms of sale from the iTunes Store say that all sales are final, and exceptions are usually made only in the case of a defective application, not for one that doesn't have a particular feature you need. As with any purchase, it's expected that the user will confirm critical features with the application developer prior to purchase. But you can contact the iTunes Store and ask:

    I have just done this and it works.  Dial 1-800-275-2273, this is a US number so if calling from the UK, use Planet Talk to get this at 0.5p per minute.  Go through the voice recognition program.  You will finally be put through to a representative who will ask you various security questions, Apple ID, home address, last four numbers of credit card etc.  The refund, which is refundable within 15 days of purchase, is done within minutes.  A bit of a performance to get through, but once you do, its an easy process.  This is probably too late now, but maybe be useful for next time.

    Select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer.
    Currently, if your purchase happens to be your most recent purchase you will not be redirected to the report form, in this case use the report a problem option from the invoice that was emailed to you.

    Apple considers all sales to be final. There are no refunds. Especially no refund just because you think that you don't need to use the app anymore.
    When you don't need your vacuum cleaner any more because you have a new one, does Walmart let you bring the old on back for a refund?

    I got an iTunes gift card but can't buy anything on iTunes. How do I go about getting a refund?

    I was taken to a page showing my account information, with a "Done" button at the bottom. I clicked on Done. If I remember right, it sent me back to my still full shopping cart. No confirmation of purchase appeared. No message of any kind appeared. I went thru this drill twice. The shopping cart still shows my items, and my $15 credit from my gift card still shows (though rather useless at this point). And I don't see any "Purchased Items" area that I'm told should be there. I probably should mention this is my first purchase from iTunes. Certainly not my first, or 100th, online purchase.
    I've already invested more time in this than it's worth. I've read online that Apple never gives refunds on gift cards. If that's the case, then I need to hear that from them so I can tell them what I think of them, warn my family and friends never to buy iTunes gift cards again, and move on. I tried to contact them last night but it was too late. I plan on calling them today to verify their policy. If they refuse to give my son's money back, I consider it outright theft.

I called Apple and they said they could not help me and I had to get a hold of the creators of HayDay in order to get a refund. I found the contact email to get a hold of the creators and they never answered my issue. I asked many times and no one can help me. What do I do to get that money back that shouldn't have ever been taken from my credit card in the first place? I have all the order numbers and stuff if need be.

    Is it possible to recieve a refund for App store purchases after 90 days have passed. In my case I purchased several apps by the same developer which cost around £10 in total, but due to a recent update they are now unusable and lead to frustration as they are impossible to use.     I just got a piece of mail about "Total Mobile Protection" . $11 per month on one of my 4 lines.  I never asked for this.  I called Verizon and they said, sorry cant help.   You signed the user agreement at the store!  Wow!  No manager, no escalation path.  They turned it off but how do I get my $18 back?   Nothing but headaches so far with Verizon.  3 of 4 lines required support calls to transfer the lines, and now this.

    I was billed prorated 8$ in November and $11 for December.  I just got the paper mail about "total mobile protection", yesterday and called immediately.  I just called billing support again today and she did credit just $11, (but not the $8.  First she was going to credit the $8 but not the $11) as she wasn't able to prove did or did not agree to this charge. The Verizon rep also asked me why i just got the mail about "total mobile protection" yesterday! How would I know why Verizion waited over a month to send it?  So i guess the default is the customer is wrong.  I don't care about the $ that much but don't like the idea of random charges that can't be refunded. 
    After having to call support 7 times (3 provisioning and 2 different billing issues) and visit the store to fix Verizon mistakes, and Verizon basically telling me I am lying, we are not off to a good start on this new contract.
