How to get access to all the advisories in mozilla?

Mozilla Foundation Security Advisories (http://www.mozilla.org/security/announce/),
when accessed provides information on many of the advisories, but for some it displays an error that you are not authorized to open.
I tried to open bug #790879 & it showed following error:-
(https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=790879).
Can anybody please tell me what needs to be done to get complete access of the advisories.

i myself am no mozilla staff but just a contributing volunteer, so i cannot tell you for sure how it works in practise (the policy document is now nearly a decade old). however according to the document most bugs should get disclosed after a unspecified amount of time after they got fixed and then they are just readable like any other normal bug report at bugzilla.mozilla.org.
in case you have a legitimate interest in reviewing a certain inaccessible bug-report (& have an account on bugzilla.mozilla.org) you could also try to write an email to the security@XXX mail address & explain the situation - maybe they can/will add you to the list of people who are authorized to view the details.

I do not understand the question. I cannot go online from my site off any link embedded in the document. When there is a link in the document and I try to click on it I get the error code posted in the first item. Also (I just found this out trying to fix it) I am attached to windows mail and the same thing occurs when I try to send a file to myself. Thus the bottom line is I am trying to get online through the embedded links and I get the error code written in the opening comment. You have all the codes you requested, if you want anything just ask and I will seek it. I am getting very frustrated, do not take this as anything against you...I cannot get this to work.

Look at classes Calendar and SimpleDateFormat.
And get your abstraction straight: you don't have two dates. You have two Strings that represent a date. To use them, you have to convert them to Date objects first with SDF.

How to get rid of ALL the preview Icons in all the folders?

I want all the files on my computer to show the generic icon of the app, not the preview of it. I use very small icons and icon preview is a torture instead of pleasure – finding things in folders is an unbearable adventure.
I have untaged the "Show Icon Preview" in the 'View Options' tab and clicked 'Use as Defaults' button. Then restarted the Finder. It did the job for most files, but there are still many images, that still have their preview on.
I suppose that some Applications like Photoshop add custom previews to files when saving them, and those custom previews probably override the folder settings.
So - is there any way to get rid of all those CUSTOM image previews as well?

The Finder will display custom thumbnails when these are present, it can't help itself. For those programs that create their own custom thumbs the only thing you can do is re-set the preference from within the application itself to not create them, and to remove them from files that already have them. Someone has probably written an Applescript or Automator Workflow to remove them recursively from a folder full of images. You can ask in those forums. Otherwise you have to do GetInfo on the file, select the wee little icon at the top of the GetInfo window and press delete or cut the icon.

Creating a photo book, How can I access / view all the versions?

I used 247 versions to create a book in Aperture 3.5.1. I am reviewing the book. Only 93 versions are now displayed! I cannot access/view the other ones. Up to friday it was fine. What happens? How do I solve this issue?

You can not - they are soreted by date
-- the only solution I have seen is to put them in an album sorted the way you and and then use the batch cnage command to redate them with a small invrement between so a data sort matches your desired sort -- I personally do not want to redate a bunch of my photos nor do i want to have to go through and un-re- date a bunch

Hi I will have to look for the article but if I remember correctly you will want to use the grid format set up on the view menu. This displays the entire report in crystal reports overlayed on a grid. You will then want to line everything up has much as possible both horizontally and vertically. You can use the snap to grid feature which will turn the end of the text object red when it is aligned. I placed ruler markers on both the x and y rulers and tried to line stuff up to those. Try to get rid of any blank space between the objects placed on the report as the excell dll will turn these into additional cells. I do not know if crystal reports for .net has this feature but I used version 9 developer edition.

When I take a screen shot see attached It shows the bottom of the, in this case, layers and channel, patettes but it is not actually visible or accessible on my cinema 30" screen. I know I can change the resolution so the size adjustment boxes can be reached and resize the white space away in that manner, but I like the resolution as is 2048 x1280 for my bad eyesight and continually resizing seems like wasted effort. There is no purpose for the extra white space so I want to make it so the palettes only show what is in them. Probably not possible?

I think what was suggested was that you use SQL to generate the grants on each and every view, that is, you use SQL to generate SQL where the SQL being generated is "grant select on view_name to role'"
If you users to connect to Oracle you have to create usernames for them though if the users only connect via an application the application might run just as one user and access to the application is controled via application security. The control on the application can be via Directory Services such as OID or MS Active Directory. User access to Oracle can also be controlled via OID.
To connect to Oracle you can use OS authenication (not recommended), usernames with passwords, or via Advanced Security Option which supports single sign-on products like Kebros or Oracle Internet Directory etc....

Getting rid of all the junk left behind from SL after upgraded to Lion

I still seem to have a-lot of junk that was left behind from SL - I want to get rid of it all as I want to just start with Lion from fresh.
Can someone tell me how to get rid of all the junk that SL left behind when I upgraded to Lion (like all the old plist files and all of that). Also I seem to still have some of my SL settings in there as well.
Ideally i would like to do a fresh install of Lion but I don't want to loose any of the stuff that came preinstalled on my computer (Like iLife and all of that) and since my NAS that I was using for Time Machine wont work on Lion there would be no way of backing up or restoring those.
Thus I am left with just manually deleting all of the junk.
Can someone give me some instruction on how I would go about doing that (like anyone that has already upgraded and then deleted all stuff SL leaves behind.)

You can start with /Utilities/System Information > System Report > Applications and delete all PPC apps.
Once you have your Apps cleaned up you could clone the system to another disk, do a clean install and just use Migrqtion Manager in Setup Assistant to migrate only Applications.

Photo Stream is not a respository for archiving photos. It is a cloud storage device that will store the last month or last 1000 photos taken by any device on the same Apple ID, and then will "share" those photos with all other devices that have Photo Stream turned on,and that are logged onto the same Apple ID.
iCloud backups will contain all of the photos that were on your camera roll the last time you backed up your device.
If you have photos outside of the Photo Stream parameters, and they are not all on your current camera roll, then you have no way to retrieve them unless you have imported them to the computer you sync with or have uploaded them to some other cloud service like DropBox.

Set up the new phone as a new iPhone (without using your backup), then update it to the latest iOS (7.1.2). Then go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens again and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup and follow the prompts. Some anti-virus programs (e.g., McAfee) have this rule that can be invoked under the "maximum protection" settings: PREVENT PROGRAMS REGISTERING AS A SERVICE. If that rule is set to BLOCK, then any attempt to install or upgrade iTunes will fail with an "iPod service failed to start" message.

Note that the log says "Common Maximum Protection: Prevent programs registering as a service". The "Common Maximum Protection" is the location of the rule, "Prevent programs registering as a service" is the rule. I used that information to track down the location in the McAfee VirusScan Console where I could turn the rule off.
After I made the change, iTunes installed without complaint.
