How to get analog Tacho signal in PCI 6250 NI card

Dear All,
Iam using Labview 8.6.1 and NI PCI 6250 card. In my application i need to get order power spectrum for particular speed and accelerometer signal. For that iam using labview example program Order power spectrum(Analog Tacho).VI. In my PCI6250 card i configured AI0 as Accelerometer signal and AI 1 as speed signal for analog tacho signal. In that example program i can get Amplitude of Acclerometer signal But i cant able to get Speed Profile. For Speed iam using encoder, from that encoder Digital pulse i connected to analog channel 1. Whether this connection is correct? Instead of giving digital pulse directly i tried analog signal based on 0-10v for 0-1500rpm. This configuration also is not working. Encoder PPR is 1000. Can any one help me to solve my problem.

At 1800 RPM you are rotating at 30Hz. for your encoder pulses are coming at 30,000 Hz. You need to sample the analog encoder channel at 100,000 Samples per second or more. Graph your analog inputs on a time waveform graph to see if you are getting a clean signal.
With the analog tacho vi, you need to provide the number of pulses per revolution, so it can determine the correct speed.

It's best to export the photos to a folder and then drag the folder onto the memory card. Memory cards are usually formatted for PCs, FAT 32, which doesn't permit more than a limited number of files in the root directory. Putting the photos in a folder gets around that limitation.

How to get the hdmi signal?

I just but a macbook pro on july 2011
I also purchased a moshi adapter and a dyvex hdmi cable, i must say it is meant for PS3.
When i first tried to get the signal, i had to plug/unplug a couple of time.
But then it worked out great.
After, I tried to get the signal with another tv. an Aquos from Sharp
It worked perfectly. Now there's the problem... I am trying to getting it a second time
There is no way to get the signal....
Could tip me on how may i try to force the signal or what kind of cable i need to get to make it work perfectly everytime.

You've got a television issue, not a Uverse issue.
You TV remote should have an "input" Or 'Setup' button or option. Find it and change it back to HDMI.

How to get the lte signal on a graph

I'm trying to watch on a graph the niLTE RFSG Create and Download Waveform (Single Antenna) input and output signal ! By using the niLTE Generate DL Test Model Example (Basic).vi, I want to know which graphs could be use to watch the signal in frequence domain and in time domain. (I tried with a lot of default labview graphs but allways had "types" problems because the graph's type was never the one needed for the vi )

Hi Ossan,
To graph the LTE waveforms in this case, you won't be able to do this directly from the "niLTE RFSG Create and Download Waveform (Single Antenna)", since this sends the waveform straight to the RFSG in the background. The RFSG Database VIs let us get certain information about the waveform, such as I/Q rate, but not the waveform itself.
For the actual waveform, just place the "niLTE SG Create Single Antenna Waveform" VI in line with the other functions (so after step 6 of the example VI you're using), and graph the waveform from there. To get it into a format usable by the WFM measurement functions such as FFT, you can convert using the process demonstrated below.

How to get needed files for a PCI-5124 after a computer upgrade

A LabView program that uses a high-speed digitizer PCI-5124 (software P/N 500783T-00 version 2.8.1) was written under LabView 7. The computer was replaced with a new one with LabView 8.2. We installed the digitizer board in the new computer and installed the NI-SCOPE software. The program no longer works. Upon trying to load it several windows that ask us to "Find the VI Named 'niScope Close.vi'" and similar messages come up. Does this mean we have not loaded everything needed from the CD or is there some other action we need to have taken?

Labview cannot find the file called 'niScope Close.vi' and probably all other associated files that were in the original location (original PC).
Have you installed all the files for the scope card? Does the file exist on the PC? (do a search).
If you find the file, then you can select it when the VI is being loaded.
The file may have been written by someone at (or for) your company, so you may want to copy them from the original PC.

How to arm channel 1 of a PCI 6133 DAQ card using labview?

I am new to the Labview and I need some help. I have a PCI 6133 multifunction DAQ card and I'm using Labview 8.2 to capture five channels waveform data. I setup channel ai0 to be the trigger channel and I need to capture data from ai0, ai1, ai2, ai3, and ai4 when ai0 is trigger.
Question:
1) I am using DAQ assistant to configure my channels. How can I arm the channel ai0? I have an "execute button" and it should arm the scope when I click it.
2) Is there trigger ready signal, so I can save all the channels data when channel ai0 is trigger?
Can anyone provide some help?

PCI-6133 to acquire analog data from ai0:ai4. You want to use ai0 as
the trigger for the other channels.
Does your application need to be retriggerable?
Are you doing continuous acquisition?
Are you doing Analog start trigger or reference trigger?

How to get LR4 to open when inserting an SD card (MAC 10.8.2)

I had LR3 opening when I inserted an SD card but when I installed LR4.4 it broke that and now I can't get LR4 to open when inserting a card. Still fairly new to MAC's so would appreciate any help.

First:
Go to Preferences>General Tab and check Show import dialog when a memory card is detected.
Second:
Open Image Capture on your Mac (search for it in Spotlight)
Insert your Card.
Click on the card in the LH Pane.
At the bottom of the Pane, set the default program to be Lightroom 4
Close.
It should work now.

If I understand your question correctly ... to save photos that were sent as attachments to a text message, long-press on the photo until you see a pop-up that lets you save it. Depending on your phone, the saved photo may be in your internal storage under Messaging or Downloads rather than on your SD card.

How to generate a signal like this on PCI-6202 DAQ card

I want to generate a signal like the one in the attached picture.
Which have inputs like
1. Frequency
2.Duty cycle
3. No of pulses
I have created a file which gives the signal like the other one in the end which has frequency of 200us and duty cycle of 0.5% that is 1us On and 199us signal off. Now i need to include some sort of condition that when the button is pressed then the signal of the require frequency, duty cycle and no of pulses is created as input by the user on the front panel, like the one which are first part of the signals in the picture below.

How to acquire video from PCI TV tunner card in Labview

Hello Guys,
I am a new commer in this fourm and this is my first post.
I am working on a project where i need to acquire analog video into labview 8.5 for this purpose i have a analog security camera and PCI TV tunner card (Manufactured by ASUS) and i built the routine in Matlab 2007 and its working(But not satisfying me).
I am very keen to watch live video stream in Labview so in this regard i need your help .

First Mathscript is NOT Matlab. It is a National Instruments implementation resembling Matlab. As such it does not and can not make use of Matlab Toolboxes at all.
Second though not directly related to this. Looking at http://www.mathworks.com/products/imaq/supportedio.html I see that they support a list of specific frame grabber manufacturers and Video for Windows, but not Direct X. So my previous assumption was wrong. What they most likely do in their IMAQ Toolbox is to implement a driver interface to each manufacturer specific API. This is 100% true for the National Instruments boards since NI-IMAQ or IMAQdx is the only means to access them respectively. So I guess they simply interface to the frame grabber manufacturer provided DLLs which you can do of course too in LabVIEW but NI won't do for you since they sell their own frame grabber hardware.
www.alliancevision.com is a first interesting check to see if you can buy LabVIEW drivers for a particular brand of frame grabber. Many have in the past thought they could quickly put together a frame grabber interface for some hardware by playing around with the Call Library Node to interface to the manufacturer DLLs, but that is serious software business and buying a driver interface is a lot more effective time and economy ways for most people.
