How to get Apple mail back?

few months ago by mistake i put the "application" Apple mail in the trash.Now i can't find it anywhere,is there a way to download it all over again,or retreive it?

Mount your installation DVD and use the optional installations, selecting just Mail. After installation, download and run the latest 10.5.6 Combo Update to bring it up to date.
Oops - are really on 10.3? I am not sure that the optional installations feature existed back then. If it didn't you will need to run Pacifist to pull Mail from your installation disk. Obviously, 10.5.6 is not the appropriate updater!

Does anyone know how to get apple mail in Lion 10.7.2 to connect with Exchange 2007? It worked perfectly with Snow Leopard... upgraded to lion and it won't work. We use Exchange 2007 with SP 3 and Rollup 4. Won't connect... and I can't get Apple to give me any direction.

We finally got it to work today. We had to call and pay for the microsoft support service, but the issue was on the server end. We had to go into the iis manager... went to sites... when to default website...and changed the SSL settings for Auto Discover, EWS Exadmin, echange, exchweb, owa... and the rest..
Change the settings to ignore client certificates.
Problem solved. Can finally send and receive.

After crash/reboot, how do get apple mail to stop pulling in old/deleted mail?

This has happend so many times, it's getting frustrating.
Finder or another program freezes, I force quit and the mac freezes.
I restart, open apple mail and it startes pulling in every piece of mails sitting on the mail server.
It's happened too many times and I end up having to delete thousands of emails.
Any idea why and how I can stop this from happening?

How to get Apple Mail to show all calendars

So you know how you click a date on Apple Mail and it will display your calendar and you can add it? So I have gogle calendar integrated into the iCal application where all my separate google calendars appear. However, on apple mail when it has the quick add to calendar that surrounds a date it only shows the primary google calendar. Any idea on how to change this?

I recently have been trying to find out why my email won't go online. A window pops up stating The identity of "pop.qwestoffice.net" cannot be verified. The certificate for this server is invalid. You may be connecting to a server that is pretending to be "pop.qwestoffice.net" putting information at risk. It asks to connect anyway? Anyone out there have a clue? the same problem happened to me also, i felt that while playing hay day, if some calls came in between and if i answered the call, the setting of all the icloud items turns off. (i have backup of all the items on icloud), after deleting the account and making settings of mail, contact, calander etc on on mode and after rebooting the phone, it again download from icloud server. but it is just a headache. do not know how to handle this.

Apple has a built-in method for setting up Gmail accounts that makes sure that they are set up properly.
Go to System Preferences under the Apple menu and select Mail, Contacts & Calendars. In the left-hand sidebar select the Add Account… item. In the main window select Gmail. Enter the information in the drop down sheet.

Thank you for the info re. the main menu. Your answer I used worked; however, the menu bar all the way across is solid black. The only way I can find out the names on the menu is to point the cursor from left to right over the black bar to find "file" "edit" tools", etc. What do I need to do to get these menu titles to be seen?
As regarding the GMail --the menu bar used to have an envelope symbol which was white and outlined in red. That disappeared. I googled "mail.google.com" to try to get back my email. This didn't work. I then tried to get a different email address and password--after 8-19 attempts, this never worked. My other email (sbcglobal.net) has never returned. Leave feedback for Apple at www.apple.com/feedback, or contact your email provider. It's the email providers that give that info to Apple, so both parties need to be updated.

Since a week, when I click on "Get Mail", after a delay I see brielfly flashing "Incoming message 70 or whathever the number in waiting is." and the green band extends to the end of the line in a fraction of a seconde, but then dissapears and no mails gets downloaded. It is not a matter of password etc.. that are all OK. Strangely, yesterdays, some email did come through after a few days of failure, but not anymore. Could it be related to hacking or something like that? Any thing I could try?
