How to get Apps from my ipod to my new Iphone

Hello Altogether,
as already mentioned in the headline, I am proudly possessing a new iphone since last week.
I also have an ipod touch for which I bought some games over the last month. Now of course, I want to bring those games to my new iphone!
How can I do this? I am not willing to pay for the games a second time of course.
Can you help?
Many thanks!

All 3rd party apps on your iPod Touch should be available in your iTunes library on your computer and would be if you have Sync Apps selected under the Apps tab for your iPod Touch sync preferences with iTunes which should be selected. With this selected, after downloading an app with your iPod Touch, the app would be copied to your iTunes library the first time you sync your iPod Touch with iTunes after doing so. This also allows for downloading and installing an app on your iPod Touch with iTunes on your computer and removing an app from your iPod Touch by deselecting the app under the Apps tab followed by a sync without deleting the app permanently. If you want to re-install the app again later, reselect the app under the Apps tab followed by a sync to re-install the app on your iPod Touch.
The very same applies to the iPhone.
Since you apparently don't have this selected under the Apps tab for your iPod Touch sync preferences, with your iPod Touch connected, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPod Touch. After confirming all apps were copied to your iTunes library, select Sync Apps under the Apps tab for your iPod Touch sync preferences making sure all apps currently installed on your iPod Touch are selected below.
After all your apps are in your iTunes library, select Sync Apps under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences, select the apps below you want installed on your iPhone followed by a sync.
BTW, you can re-download an app with iTunes on your computer or on your iPod Touch or iPhone and you won't be charged again for a purchased app as long as you use the same iTunes account to re-download the app that was used to purchase the app originally.

How do i get music from my ipod nano onto my iphone 3g????

    You don't.
You sync music from itunes on your computer to iphone.
Everything that is on your Nano should be in itunes on your computer, as that is where it came from in the first place.
Just sync whatever you like to your iphone.

That is correct if there is a similar application made for the computer. It will not be sold through iTunes. Either you get it from the developer's website or look for it in the App Store or look for it at MacUpdate or CNET Downloads .

No.  You have to get the music in iTunes and then sync to the new iPod.
Transfer iTunes purchases from the old iPod by:

Transfer other music by using a third-party program like one of thse discussed here:

how to transfer music from old iPod nano to new iPod touch ?

The 1st and 2nd gen iPod shuffle can only be used with one iTunes library (not "account") at a time.  Your Apple ID and password does not matter.  (Later shuffles can be used with more than one iTunes library, IF it is set to use the Manually manage music option.)
So, if you sync it with a different iTunes library, the previous content will be replaced.  You need to offload the existing content to your new computer's drive as the first step.
You cannot transfer song files from iPod to computer using iTunes, except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store.  However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer.  If you do an Internet search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.  (The CNET article seems to be popular.)
Once the song files are on your computer's drive, you can add them to the iTunes library.  After confirming all of your songs are there, sync your shuffle with that iTunes library.

my old computer died so i got a new one and it doesnt have any of my songs and if my iPod dies or something i lose all my songs. How do i get my song from my iPod to my new comp?

You can't sync your music back from an iPod to iTunes, the transfer of music is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there is a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows posted in this thread: MacMuse - iPod to iTunes
If you prefer something more automated then there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the files from your iPod, this is just a selection. Have a look at the web pages and documentation for these, they are generally quite straightforward.

    Hi rominabate,
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you want to move your music from your iPod to your new computer. The article linked below provides several options for recovering music from your devices and backups, like transferring music that was purchased from the iTunes Store on your iPod to your computer.

  • How to get music from the iPod to my computer?

Is it possible to get the music from an ipod and put it on your computer? Because i would like to switch all my music from my ipod to my new computer, and i got rid of all the original music.

    Hello karakamikaze,
    And welcome to Apple Discussions!
There are several ways you can pull the music off your iPod and onto iTunes. The first link below provides step-by-step instructions for the direct method if you have a PC as well as a few third party applications (for both the Mac and PC) if you choose to go that route instead. You can also do a simple Google search for "copy music from iPod to computer" and you should receive a number of sites that can help you out.
Just make sure that when you have your iPod plugged into your computer, that you don't hit "Erase and Sync" before completing the task of copying your music over.
Also, if you have any purchased music, you will probably have to re-authorize your computer by heading to the Store drop down menu and choosing "Authorize computer."
