How to get audio output of my instrument while playing back the other tracks?

I do not hear any audio signal from my bass guitar while playing along the other tracks in Logic. I can only hear the audio output of my bass while I record or stop the music. How can I change the settings so that I can play along and hear myself while I practice? The track for bass is not muted and is getting a strong input signal.

Audio regions in new tracks play back in other tracks...

Hey, I was looking around for help with logic express 8 and I can't seem to find a solution to this issue, so I hope someone can help on here!
I have been recording a song and I got to double tracking the first guitar riff. But for some reason the new tracks I record always play in the first one - if I solo the first track, it will play the original audio from there, as well as the new recording from the new track, somehow layered over it. I've tried using more tracks but they all seem to layer themselves onto the other tracks too.
It's quite hard to explain so sorry if it is not very clear. There is no evidence of the new recording being in the first track - the waveforms aren't visibly layered or anything. It basically seems as though I have somehow routed all new tracks to playback through any previous tracks along with the new track.
Again, sorry if this is unclear! I am just getting to grips with Logic, so I do have relatively limited knowledge, although I have never had this problem before. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Control-click the track icon or name of your tracks and check that they aren't assigned to the same audio channel - that's the only reason I can think of that would cause this to happen. You may have duplicated the track, rather than creating a new one, possibly?

U could try using the headphone jack sound can be output through this using the appropiate cord to connect to your projector.

How to chang audio-output-device(s) in Windwos 8

currently I’m working on an application that starts by changing the audio-output-device and ends with re-setting the old one.
On Windows XP I do this by changing the Registry-entry “Sound-Mapper” and it works quite well.
I hopefully assume it works on all Windows Systems from XP to Windows 7.
The background is that our program is supposed to play certain multi-channel sounds over an external USB-multichannel-soundcard and it should switch to that device on start. To actually play the sounds we use the AxWindowsMediaPlayer-Class
to integrate the Windows-Media-Player in our application.
However, on Windows 8, it is possible to set multiple Audio-Outputs and the Windows-Media-player has a setting to choose from them (under Options). I was unable to use the Registry-trick to switch the output-device and I could not find
a way to programmatically tell the AxWindowsMediaPlayer to choose the USB-soundcard as an output.
Is there a Way to programmatically(c#) ether change the audio-output-device(s) in Windos8 or to tell
AxWindowsMediaPlayer to use a certain device?

I think your reply pushed me in the right direction.
The waveOutOpen-function is part of the
winmm.dll-API and I think, that API is the solution to my Problem.
Unfortunately I am stuck at this point. I tried mciSendString and mciSendComand. Both are cappable of playing sound, but I am unable to change the output Device.
This is my c# code to open a WAV-File via mciSendCommand:

And when I pick up the clips in Adobe Premiere Elements 12, it works too, but only without sound.
I think I tried everything for 4 days now.
Sound in my computer works perfectly
I go to where the video files are located and try to run them in VLC or in Nero Kwik so it works fine with both audio and video.
I have checked the sound card.
Yes, I have tried everything so now I'm so tired of this lousy so I'm ready to throw this program at the dump.

On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 working on? Have you updated it from 12 to 12.1 Update using an opened project's Help Menu/Update. If not, please do so.
For your immediate problem.
What is the model/settings for the JVC camera that recorded you video. I want to get at the properties of your source video including the file extension.
Since you are getting video, but no audio, please download and install the free codec utility named GSpot to see what is shows
for your Audio Name and Status.

When you import your source file into the project, do you see any "conforming" activity going in a progress bar at the bottom right corner of the workspace?
If so, do you wait for it to complete before you move forward in the project?
Can you get sound in any of your Premiere Elements projects with this current JVC file or other?
Can we assume that your troubleshooting has included checking
a. Volume control within the project
b. Edit Menu/Preferences/Audio Hardware ASIO
Let us start here and then we can decide what next if necessary.

If you're syncing with a different iTunes library than the one you previously synced with, then there is no way around it. You're gonna loose the old data. The only way round it would be to make sure that all the music files on your iPhone is also in your iTunes library. If you still have access to the computer with the old library, you could copy the files on to an external harddrive, and then import them into your new iTunes library.
If it is in fact the same library, then the music currently on your iphone, is also in your itunes library. Just make sure that the artists/albums/playlists, or whatever you sync contains these tracks, that you allready have on your phone and don't want deleted. What i do is, i create a playlist specifically for my iPhone, and i set it up to only sync with this playlist. Whenever i hear a track from my iTunes library or buy a new track that i want on my phone, i just drag it to this playlist and next time i synchronize, it's there without deleting anything else.
