How to Get Back my Deleted Mac Mail ???

I need serious help ... !!! I accidentally deleted a folder (with lots of folders inside!) of very important e-mail containing years of research ... !!!
Is there any possible way to get it back? I was trying to change the names of folders, from lower case to upper case, and I got a message telling me that I couldn't do that, because there was already a folder like that.
I saw an extra folder, and clicked on it, but there appeared to be nothing in it, so I chose Delete from the menu. Only to find out it was the real folder with many other folders inside.
I’m using Mac Mail, OS X 10.4.11 -- I did NOT choose Erase Deleted Messages from the menu yet ... !!! Is there still hope to recover all those deleted messages .... ???
I need to get that e-mail back somehow ....
Any suggestions ... ??? Help !!!

Not very likely, but It's possible, but you must quit using the Computer immediately.
Either boot this one in Target mode...
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=58583
And recovering from another Mac, or booting this Mac from another HDD, then using Data Rescue II...
http://www.prosofteng.com/products/data_rescue.php
(Has a Free Demo to see if it could or not, but you'll need another drive to recover to).
Or professional Data Recovery Services.
BUT, every second you use that Mac the chances will be slimmer.

  • How to get back the deleted order in EBP in to SRM-for which R/3 ord.exists

    Hi Sap gurus,
    We have implemented extended classic scenario in SRM 5.5. The issue is one of the local EBP order is deleted from our SRM system. As a general rule the backend order is also to be deleted from the system. But to our strange the backend order is not deleted in the R/3 system. Now we want to get back the local EBP order in to our system. Is there a way we get this again in our EBP system?
    In BBP_PD tcode we have one entry as below. By using the GUID of this order can we get the order back in to EBP?
    HEADER    I1040               DELETED                                 X
    Thanks & Regards
    Satish

    Hello psamp,
    If your PO has status 'Deleted' in SRM, at header level, field DOC_CLOSED from BBP_PDHGP table should be set.
    For PO status change, you can use CRM_STATUS_UPDATE function module with two rows in table JEST_UPD:
    - one to inactive deleted status :
    MANDT = your client,
    OBJNR = PO Guid,
    STAT = 'I1040',
    INACT = 'X',
    CHGNR = existing value + 1
    - one to active ordered status:
    MANDT = your client,
    OBJNR = PO Guid,
    STAT = 'I1043',
    INACT = ' ',
    CHGNR = existing value + 1
    For header level, see BBP_HDRPROC_SET_STATUS_FLAGS function module.
    Regards.
    Laurent.

  • How to get individual messages in Mac Mail???

    In Mavericks when I get mail from the same email address it groups it all under one option so I sometimes miss the mail. How can I get it so that each message is individual and not grouped into a folder under one email address?

    Is this happening to all emails from, say sender A? Or are you still receiving emails from sender A, but not in the same "convo"?
    I am just wondering if sender A is sending you email that has "no subject", thus Apple Mail thinks it's apart of a convo. Therefore it'll group them into a "convo".

  • How to get Back To My Mac 'like' features with Dynamic DNS

    Hi folks. I recently purchased a new NetGear ProSafe Gigabit VPN Firewall (FVS318G) that theoretically supports UPnP (but clearly it does not). I know it does not work because even other applications that make use of UPnP don't work and believe me I've tried EVERYTHING including punching holes for all the right ports through the FireWall... ZIPPO! BTW their (NetGear's) technical support is abysmal. They really don't care... AT ALL.
    Even if I make all the correct ports available through the firewall B2MM just says NAT-PNP / UPnP is not available and that B2MM won't work. I suppose it does not even try to see if the ports are available and open despite UPnP not responding. Kinda dumb if that is how Apple has it programmed.
    So I'm wondering if it's possible to get access to my home network close to the same way B2MM would give me via assignment of a dynamic DNS name through maybe and some programming of the ports and services on my FireWall.
    Can anyone point me in the right direction for this. I think I have all the pieces I just need to know how to assemble them.

    If you have gotten a free dyndns domain name and have installed the dyndns updater application, then you need to enable file sharing in your Mac and port forward port 548 through your router to your Mac. I'm not on Snowie at the moment, so don't know if the security stuff in Sys Prefs Firewall is the same -- if so make sure that "allow only essential applications" is NOT selected. Then from a computer outside your home network, in Finder under Go, and select Connect to Server afp://yourPersonal.dyndns.com
    Your home computer should then mount as a remote drive on your "outside-the-home-network" computer. I am pretty sure that username and password are encrypted during negotiation of the afp connection, but I don't think subsequent data transfers are. It is possible to "tunnel" the afp connection through an encrypted secure shell tunnel for total security, but that can be a "step two"
    once you have demonstrated afp through the router.

  • How to get back the deleted request.

    Hi BW gurus,
                       I was having a problem in ZFIGL_01 cube. 1 request was showing some error so i deleted that request without changing its status from green to red.
    i then loaded the data again and now its not allowing me to activate that request in ODS because of that earlier request but when i go to reconstruct/insert tab its not showing the request which was deleted by me. Does that mean the request has been deleted from PSA also?
    What will be the workaround in that case?
    And in near future to avoid such kind of scenario what will be the settings required to be done so that i can see all the deleted requests in insert/reconstruct tab irrespective of the status of the request.
    Now this will create problem from tommorrow onwards in my PC if it doesnt get solved. Kindly reply as early as possible.
    Thanks
    BW user.

    hi,
    Hope the upload is delta,
    1. Goto TX: RSMO and identify the request.
    2. change the request to Red/Green.
    3. Reload the data.
    suggestion: If it is a delta upload, Check the timestamp at R/3 or ERDATE before reload.
    Regards,
    Vijay

  • HT1338 I have WIndows on my MACbook Pro which opens when I turn on the laptop.  I can't remember what buttons to push to get back to the Mac side.  Can Anyone help me remember that?

    I have a Macbook Pro that has Windows loaded.  I use that most often and it opens immediately upon opening the computer.  I can't remember how to get back to the Mac side of the computer and want to begin to use it as well.  Can anyone help me remember the buttons to push ?
    Thank you

    Hold down the Option key when starting up, or restarting. You'll be presented with the Startup Manager, which is a simple graphic of the drives you can boot to. Double click the drive which has OS X on it. Once in OS X, go to the System Preferences and click on Startup Disk. Choose the drive you always want the Mac to boot to first.

    It sounds like you destroyed your boot partition and the recovery partition.  Depending on it's age, your MacBook Air might be able to do a net boot.  Plug and ethernet connection into it and attempt to boot.  If it has the right firmware, it will find a net boot configuration on the net and boot that.  Then it will give you a Recovery Partition like display and allow you to reinstall the OS X version that came with it.... assuming that it was Lion or ML.  If your computer came with Snow Leopard, then even the net boot won't work.
    At that point you need a bootable USB Key, or an external DVD drive AND a Snow Leopard installation DVD.
    An Apple Store, if there is one nearby, MAY be able to get you going again.  However, whatever is on the SSD now will be toast too.

  • Just installed windows 7 on my macbook (os x snow leopard) using bootcamp.  I can't get back to my mac now.  I've tried logging off of windows and shutting it down.  when i restart it comes back on in windows.  How do I get back to my os x?

    Just installed windows 7 on my macbook (Mac OS X Snow Leopard) using bootcamp.  Windows 7 works great, but I can't get back to my Snow Leopard.  When I log off or shut down Windows and try to start up again, all I get is Windows.  How do I get back to my mac operating system?

    If your Mac is off then start up. As soon as you hear the boot chime, hold down the Option key until the Mac and Windows Disks show up. Then click on the Mac disk and the arrow below it. After it boots up in Mac then go to System Preferences>Startup Disk and select your Mac partition as the Startup disk.
    If you are in Windows then look for the Boot Camp icon on the taskbar. It will look like a gray box sitting on one corner. One of the options when you click it is to restart in Mac OS. After it boots up in Mac then go to System Preferences>Startup Disk and select your Mac partition as the Startup disk.

    If you are the account owner, you can access the last year of calls records and the last three months of message summary (date, time, number texted, there is no where to see the text context) through your online account. Click on the HOME Tab once logged in and choose PRINT BILLS and then click on the pull down menu to choose any invoice for the last twelve months to view.

  • How can i get back my deleted pictures ?

    Does anybody know how i can get back my deleted pictures ?

    Photos/videos in the Camera Roll are included with the iPhone's backup, which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process. If the photos were not imported from the Camera Roll by your computer as designed and intended and as with any other digital camera, you synced your iPhone with iTunes since the photos were captured by your iPhone and you haven't synced your iPhone with iTunes since the photos were deleted, you can try restoring your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup. Do not sync your iPhone with iTunes before doing so and decline the prompt to update your iPhone's backup after selecting Restore.
