How to get back to Text from an Pages ePub footnote on an iPhone!

I have noticed that there does not seem to be a way to return to a page that one has left to read a "footnote" that has been coverted to a endnote in export to ePub. It all looks great, but I can not find the way to return to the page I was reading on after I follow a footnote link from that page to the end of the document where the footnotes are cataloged... short of going back to the table of contents and then manually finding where I left off reading in the document before I clicked on the footnote number in ePub.
Any suggestion... maybe this is a fault of ePub or of iBooks reader?

It depends on the software used to create the ePUB file. Some applications may not support returns, others return by pressing the "footnote number" associated with the specific "footnote" that sent you to the "Endnotes," and still others (e.g., Legend Maker), employs a separate symbol placed at the end of the "footnote" entry to return you to your sending text.

The only method I know of is software called iexplorer. After downloading the program onto your computer, open explorer and navigate to your phone and you will see the voicemails. Copy them to your computer and your all set. Sorry for your loss

How to get back the emails from an old hard drive that has no more OS ?

My computer crashed recently.
The problem came from Windows somehow. So the hard drive is fine.
since windows couldn't be repaired I just copied a disk image backup to a new hard drive.
The problem is that I lost all the emails that were recieved between the moment I did my backup and now.
I can still access the folder :
%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\XXXXXXXX.default\Mail\
How can I use the files in that folder in order to get back my emails in Thunderbird ??

Thunderbird mail is stored in MBOX files. these will be locted in the mile folder (well sub folders) along with an MSF index of their contents with the same name.
This add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/thunderbird/addon/importexporttools/ will import MBOX files. Once installed it adds an entry to the bottom of the Tools menu.

Hi fellas could anybody know how to get back calendar out from trash to original dock below the screen

Im having problem getting my calendar out from trash(not deleted) to where this belong to dock below the screen accidently click when im using apps cleaner,i try to swipe my application from trash bin to dock station but keep bounce back to bin,i check on help site said simply open trash bin select the application you want to save,go to top screen see finder then go to file and click say PUT BACK but main issue is that words are grey out ,im on mountain lion version 10.8.4 at the moment for now i can only use calender by swipe from trash bin to desktop its only i can open than click main dock of calender will say unable to open because it in the trash so can anybody know how to get this out in any way,i dont like to have two icons of calendar on desktop and dock station....i be happy can somebody give advice.......regards

Hi Varma,
Even if you want to personalise the Text also you can do without checking the DICTREF checkbox. Dirctly you can give the text in the Text elements by using the Menu GOTO -> Text Elemetns -> Selection Texts.

i lost my iphone4s , i am worried how i can get my pics and videos back, i think i didn't update the pics on icloud (photo stream), but i am not sure,
can i still get back my photos.
i haven't bought new iphone yet , do i need to buy new iphone first and connect to itunes, then only i can get my photos?

How can I copy/paste text from one page to another?

I feel like I am taking crazy pills... is there really no way to copy a text box (or group) from one page to another while creating books in Aperture 3? Lets say I have my entire book laid out and I want to add one paragraph at the end on one page which will push text and photos down a half page or so... in most programs for the last decade or so they added really cool functionality... cut/paste... It seems like the apple developers are aware of it because they are in the context menus but they don't work on text, only photo boxes. Additionally, you can copy/paste text but it erases all formatting.
Seriously, am I missing something? I have trouble believing that they can't include this function.
Anyone else have this issue?

Update... it seems to only happen with text boxes which I create. So when I try an existing theme I can cut/copy/paste just fine, but in that same theme if you edit the layout and add a new text box, I can't copy paste it anywhere... the options are in the menu but nothing happens.
Thoughts? Solutions?

I have the following code which is working fine except I can't get the user typed data from flash form to my default e-mail (MS Outlook) application. How to edit the following code?
In the code:
1) To ----> this field is okay since this email ID doesn't change
2) Cc ----> this filed is also okay since no changes will be in email ID
3) Subject ----> this may not be always as "Feedback", user may like to change the subject

Hi! First of all: After using iSync all my address book data were duplicated, and I deleted all duplicated data manually. Then, I resetted the iSync data under 'Advanced' in '.Mac Sync Preferences'. Unfortunately, iSync deleted all my AddressBook data. I found a file named 'AddressBook.data.previous' and another file named 'AddressBook.data.beforesave' in my 'home folder/Library/Application Support/AddressBook'. Looking carefully into that file, I saw all the data I lost before in it! - Thus, how can I restore that data back into my AddressBook now? Does anyone knows some help for me? Welcome to Apple Discussions.
You only have a very limited opportunity to recover your data this way. You should make sure that the Address Book application is not running, then drag the AddressBook.data file to your desktop or to the trash. Duplicate the AddressBook.data .previous file, and rename it AddressBook.data by removing the trailing <.previous> string. Then, launch the Address Book.
The application will read the contents of this renamed file, and display your contact records. You should regularly back up your contact records using the built-in Back up Address Book… option under its File menu. A similar option is available in iCal.

How to get offending SQL-Text from OracleException

is there a way find out the SQL which was the reason for an OracleException ?
I try to connect to a Oracle RDB database via ODP.NET and a SQLNET-driver of Oracle RDB. During the connect a "table or view not found" error fires and stops the connect. Up to now i was not able to find out which object is missing here. I tried to use the trace feature but it does not show the SQL used inside the connect...

you are right, this table (view) was missing. I finally sniffered the ethernet to find out what ODP.NET is doing here. I posted the solution for RDB in the thread "Info: how to prepare Oracle RDB for ODP.NET".

I'm assuming you are creating a form from a procedure. Edit the form. The first page you see, scroll to the bottom. You'll see a text area where you can use the go('') statement. You'll redirect the submitted portlet to the page that displays your portlet. This skips the link.
