How to get bbm???! on ipod4g

Heyy, im still new abit to ipods and my son has an ipod4g.
And he want to hav BBM but it does not let him but he has ios 6.1
As many other have had this problem too, but he really despartly wants it!
Are there any ways he can have it? ASAP?!
Plz get back to me as many solutions as soon as possible.
And also
After downloading this app, they ask for your phone number to give the BBM code to, as he don’t have a phone, is it ok if I use someone’s else’s number to receive the code and then after putting the pin in to activate the  BBM account there will be no need to use the number again?
So basically:
I want the BBM app somehow
And to know if I can use someone else’s number for the BBM pin and that all!!
Thank you
Plz try and answer my questions!

it is NOT available for any ipod.
From the BBM Site linked above:
For what platforms and devices is BBM available?
In addition to BlackBerry smartphones, BBM™ is currently available on iPhone and Android devices.
From the app store:
"Compatible with iphone, ipad 2.."
No mention at all of any ipod
Not sure what your issue is, but it is simply NOT available for ipod.

  • Getting BBM to work on my device

    Hi,
I'm currently using wi-fi with my bb, and everything seems to work except BBM. I don't have a data plan with my service provider, so they can't help me out, and they suggested I contact blackberry. Does anyone know how to get BBM to work when using wi-fi?

In order to use BBM and other push features such as email on the Blackberry you will need a Blackberry Data Plan from your carrier.

    You can't.
Change your iTunes (Apple ID) password along with any other password that was stored in the iPod.  If any passwords are associated with credit cards, contact the CC company and get your card replaced (with a new number).  If any passwords are associated with a bank or any other savings institution, contact them also and discuss approprate action with them.
The only real protection you have is with the personal information on the device rather than the physical device itself.  This requires action before the device is lost/stolen.  If the device has significant personal information, it should have a strong 8-digit (or longer) password AND be configured for automatic wipe in the event of ten consecutive incorrect password entries.

  • How can I get BBM on my iPhone4 ??

How can I get BBM on my iPhone4 ?? Plz help we all need a SOLUTION for this problem , plz apple help us

BBM is designed as a blackberry to blackberry instant messenger, so basicially its an instant messenger exclusiveto a specific device.
earlier this year RIM said they would develop a "watered-down" version of BBM for android and ios but that never surfaced since you would have to figure out a way to connect non-blackberry device to the blackberry network for this to even work. But RIM has resently gone the opposite way with the BBM port, since the only thing that sells BB's right now it BBM so if they allow BBM on non-BB then there would be no need to buy a BB anymore.

How can I get bbm on iphone5

You get it from the app store the same way you get any other app from the app store... Do you even have an iPhone?
As for when, ask Blackberry... They said later this year... based on their track record of shipping software on time, I'd say that means it will be released  exactly 2 days before they declare bankruptcy and lay off all their (remaining) employees.

  • How do I get bbm on my playbook

Hi I'm new to blackberry so I'm just wondering if I can get bbm on my playbook without having a blackberry phone
Or if I need a blackberry phone could I uses friends or will it be there messages
If I can get bbm on my playbook how do I do it :-)
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

At this time you need a BlackBerry phone paired to your PlayBook to use BBM. Hopefully at somepoint in the future BBM will come to the PlayBook as a native app without needing a BlackBerry phone.
You can pair your friends phone to your tablet, but it will use their contact list. It just mirrors whatever is on their phone - email, address book, BBM contacts, etc... You will not be able to create your own BBM list using their phone.

  • How to get BlackBerry Messenger/BBM?

I'm on a PAYG service which doesn't include 3G at all. I heard from someone that you have to pay £5 extra a month to get BBM, but I don't know who to pay or if that's even true? If I get a plan which includes 3G internet, will my BBM automatically work?

If you get a plan that includes a proper BlackBerry data plan (also known as BIS or BlackBerry Internet Service), then BBM will work on it.
You'll have to call your carrier to get that set up.

  • How to get information about limitation Internal Memory on device

    hallo ..
have some question here, so please some person able to answer my questions
    1. How to get Information about limitation internal memory on device
    2. is possible to improve internal memory on Blackberry ( move apps on external memory )
    3. any tools to get internal memory activity ?
thanks for this people who joins here, hope we can share more information about blackberry ..

    In addition...
There are three types of potential memory on a BB: 1) Application Memory, 2) Device Memory, and 3) Media/SD Card Memory.
Application Memory -- This is the most crucial; it is the protected (not user accessible), dedicated, and fixed (in size) space that is available as the destination for the installation of applications (plus some application storage, overhead and such). You cannot touch AppMemory. You cannot improve the maximum AppMemory that your BB has. It is what it is. Applications can only install here...there is no option.
Device Memory -- This is space on your BB that you can touch to store files, pictures, media, etc. Typically, it is not terribly large, but it is available to you.
SD/Media Card Memory-- This is what it says...your SD card, for you to store files, media, pictures, etc. It can be as large as your BB OS can support...see this KB:
KB05461MicroSD card sizes supported by the BlackBerry device software
On some devices/OS levels, you can only see "File Free" (Options > Status), which I think is equivalent to AppMemory. On other devices, you can see all three memory usage levels (Options > Memory). Here are some guidelines to use:
KB02843What is the Low Memory Manager feature on the BlackBerry smartphone
KB14320How to maximize free space and battery power on the BlackBerry smartphone
KB14213Call logs, SMS text messages, and email messages are deleted from the BlackBerry smartphone
Lastly, it is always important to properly close applications when you are done with them. Using the Back or the Red key will not do this -- those leave it to the app to decide what to do...and some will leave themselves resident in memory, consuming resources on your BB, slowing the overall performance. Rather, to close an app, press and select "Close" or "Exit"...that will force the application to be closed, freeing up for your new use the resources it was consuming. Some apps will always remain running (typically -- BBMessenger, Browser, Homescreen, Phone, and Messages)...but, you should still close them properly - especially the Browser...if it is left on an active web page, it will not only consume extra resources but battery power as well.
Further, anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure. Some have taken to doing this on a regular basis as a preventive measure...some as frequently as once per day. Others have obtained the QuickPull app to automate a simulated Batt-Pull.
    Good luck!

  • How to get fm radio onto alteclansing speakers imv712?

my question is that i just got the imv712 altec lansing speakers for my ipod touch and i wanted to know how to get am/fm radio with my speakers. i know i need a transmitter but what do you recomend that i do?

    Hello,
Please refer to this helpful "Inside BB" Blog post:
    http://blogs.blackberry.com/2012/01/blackberry-7-1-update/
As you can see, the FM radio capability is limited to specific model BBs that are running the proper OS level...your model, according to your profile, is not eligible for the true FM radio app, as your model does not have, physically inside of it, the proper FM radio receiver...no amount of firmware, OS, or software can overcome a physical limitation.
    Good luck!

  • How to work BBM for Android if still a BBM user on a BB Z10?

Ok here is the thing, I still use my Z10 and I also have a Samsung Galaxy X; that I use for work, so now that I can get BBM on Android, if I use my existing BBID, will it generate a new pin for my Android device or should I use my work email, to create a whole new account, to differentiate between devices?

I'd recommend, and assume this is how it will have to work, to use a different email address. If you used the same account and still actively use BBM on z10 and the Galaxy X then things could get confusing as to where to send the messages as I don't believe you can use two devices with the same account.
Feel free to give this a try and see what happens. If things start failing, there should be an option on the Galaxy X to sign out and then you can resign in with a new account if needed.

  • How to get the values from popup window to mainwindow

    HI all,
I want to get the details from popup window.
i have three input fields and one search button in my main window. when i click search button it should display popup window.whenever i click on selected row of the popup window table ,values should be visible in my main window input fields.(normal tables)
now i am able to display popup window with values. How to get the values from popup window now.
I can anybody explain me clearly.
    Thanks&Regards
    kranthi

    Hi Kranthi,
Every webdynpro component has a global controller called the component controller which is visible to all other controllers within the component. So whenever you want to share some data in between 2 different views you can just make it a point to use the component controller's context for the same. For your requirement (within your popups view context) you will have have to copy the component controllers context to your view. You then will have to (programmatically) fill this context with your desired data in this popup view. You can then be able to read this context from whichever view you want. I hope that this would have made it clear for you. Am also giving you an [example|http://****************/Tutorials/WebDynproABAP/Modalbox/page1.htm] which you can go through which would give you a perfect understanding of all this. In this example the user has an input field in the main view. The user enters a customer number & presses on a pushbutton. The corresponding sales orders are then displayed in a popup window for the user. The user can then select any sales order & press on a button in the popup. These values would then get copied to the table in the main view.
    Regards,
    Uday
