How to get connect to itunes logo off screen without restoring it
I have an iphone and last night I tried to update it. When I woke up it had a connect to itunes logo on the screen. I tried turning it on and off again, but that didn't work. I would try to restore it but I have never connected my iphone to itunes so it won't recognize it and none of my music or apps or photos are backed up. Is there any way to get the connect to itunes logo off the screen without restoring it so I can just go back to using my phone? Thanks!
You should back up your phone on a regular basis. That way you will avoid headaches like the one now.
Your iPhone is in recovery mode. I belive there is not option but to restore it.

This has happened doing the latest software update. I think I accidentally deleted iTunes before doing the latest update in trying to make room on the phone when it came up with limited space.

I previously had an iPhone 4 which has since been put away in a drawer now that I have an iPhone 5. I would like to give my iphone 4 to someone else to use but could not remember my passcode - have tried a few times (I believe I have one more try before it gets disabled - so I have stopped trying). Read somewhere that you can just restore your phone which works for me as I wanted to clear it anyway. When I connect my phone to itunes and clicked on restore it said update and restore which I clicked on and left it to do its work. However, a while later an error code popped up saying that it could not update or back up the phone as the phone was locked . Now my phone just has the itunes logo on it but when I connect the phone to the computer and I manually open itunes, my phone is not recognised.

How to get back windows that are off screen?
I use my macbook at work with one attached display, and then at home with a different attached display. The two extra displays are different sizes. A lot of times when I plug it into the smaller of the two displays, some of the windows come up off screen and I can't figure out how to drag them back on. For example now I have a Microsoft Word window where the bottom half is on the screen, and the top half is up above the top of the screen. The only way I know to move a window is to grab the top edge and drag it, but the top edge is off the screen so I can't do that.
Also sometimes a window is bigger than the screen height, and the only way I know to make it smaller is to drag the bottom right corner, but the bottom right corner is off the screen and the window height is bigger than the monitor height.
Is there a way to get these windows back all the way onto the screen? Thanks.This is one of the most serious flaws of the Macintosh, and in many instances there is just NO answer. You could resort to writing a script using the Script Editor, but this seems a tough way to get round what is essentially a bug in the OS - it has been there for over 20 years and I don't think Apple are about to realise that the age of multiple screens and changing screen sizes is here NOW and it is time to change so we can resize from any border like all other modern OSs.

Was setting up my ipad, turned it off. Came back turned it on and after you select ur country step it came up with "connect to itunes" logo, how do i fix this? And i dont have a computer.?!
Reboot the computer then try placing the iPod in Recovery mode and then restoring via iTunes.
Next try DFU mode.

I tried the bellow. restored it twice. this morning i tried to update to ios 6.1.2 i'd be updating from like ios 4. something. i had tried to update to 5 but it never would. so i figured i'd give it a try. So i started it. It's said verifying then started. Under +iDVD > Preferences+ in the top menu bar, you can unselect the "Show Apple logo watermark" checkbox. As long as that box is unchecked, your DVD will be logo-free.

Yes and I do understand that! Thank you. There is no option to do an auto channel. Its 1-11 or 36, 40, 44 or 48. Then when it asks for a security its 40 bit WPA or 128 bit WPA. Unsure what that means? If I choose either of those Security options I have to have a certain number of characters for my password, and neither of those options fit the password that was given to me.

I am cluelessI had the same exact problem with my iPhone 4. I fixed it by putting my phone in restore mode and then kicking it back out of it. I mention 2 ways. The 1st one is something I think should work because it is based around the same concept. The 2nd method is what I used and is a bit more risky but thats the one I used.
1st method (can't confirm that this works but it just might)
The hard reboot. this is done by holding the HOME and POWER button at the same time until the screen goes blank. Then turn it on again using just the POWER button. This will take a while to turn on so don't panic just have some patience.
2nd method (the one I used)
This is how to do it.
BACK UP before attempting this. The restore mode I used is a kind of a bootable mode which is reversable (not sure if it works on other phone, so IPHONE 4 PEOPLE ONLY).
Turn the phone off the normal way. After it is turned off, hold the HOME button and connect the USB. Continue holding the HOME button until connect to itunes logo on the phone shows up and itunes will pop up saying "a device in restore mode..".
Dissconnect the USB. Now hold the POWER button until the phone turns off (it will after 10 seconds or so). Now turn it on again using the POWER button. It might take a while to turn on(don't panic, have patience). With any luck all the notifications should work and you should be able to sign in into imessage and facetime. -

was prompted to install the new 4.1 for my ipod touch but the ipod has frozen on the 'connect to itunes' logo. have tried the on/off method, re-installing itunes and the control panel, administrative tools section and still won't work. have gone through the diagnostic section and comes up 'NO URL found'.... help!!! been on this all day!

I have an ipod touch that's synched with a different computer. When the ipod is on I get the "the connect to itunes" logo. When I plug it into itunes it says cannot connect to itunes bc ipod is locked. I cant restore my ipod or put in password. any suggestions??

My dad has itunes on his PC. I don't have my own but I recently have an iPad mini and an iPod. I don't know how to get songs onto itunes on the PC, using a different account or at least private/ separate..
So how do I create a separate I tunes on a PC which already has itunes... Or if not can I plug my iPad to the PC and use itunes on my iPad, and drag mp3s from a computer.
I'm not sure what the equivalent of a desktop is on the iPad.. And I don't actually know how to use the icloud either...

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar
To import music into your iTunes library on the computer go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Add items to iTunes and follow the instructions
To sync to your iPod go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device and follow the instructions. -
My iPad mini says to connect to iTunes, and I try to restore it, but after its done extracting a message comes up saying that device is not found, is there anyway i can fix this? I don't care if i don't get my stuff back, i just want my iPad restored to its starting settings.
If everything else that you try fails, I would try using another computer. Since you don't care about saving any data, any computer that is running the latest version of iTunes might be able to restore the iPad. You could make an appointment at an Apple Store Genius Bar and they can do it for you.
If that isn't feasible for you, try using a different cable, a different USB port. reboot the computer, and reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Then try again. -
I was Updating my Iphone 4s to iOS 6 through itunes. an error happended now iphone stuck on connect to itunes logo screen . tried tukrning on and of it connects but itunes does not recognize so i can restore .. any ideas?
Dont know if accidently fixed it or not i got it to be recogniced by itune im restoring it now. i held the power/sleep button till turned off. then while holding the home button under the screen connected it to the usb wire .. also i change the usb port i was using on my computer dont know if it was luck or what but glad i got my phone back.
