That's why I was saying maybe they'll post another guide for the 4s. There might even be an owners manual PDF for the 4s already on the apple site. Not sure but if there is then some info would also be available there.

Check to make sure that Contacts is toggled on to sync by going to Settings > iCloud. Also go to iCloud.com to see if the contacts are showing up there to see if it syncing those contacts.

Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.

Ok in conclusion keep this in mind, the reset's and the *228 don't fix anything you are wasting your time. If you have a phone that fails to receive calls the only thing that will fix it is a phone that works. Also if you are not good with words, you are passive or too nice, don't make the call yourself find a spouse, significant other or a good friend that you know can talk and verbally fight and won't back down.

Well, if both your iPad and iPhone have ios 7 you could AirDrop the contacts. This may seem time consuming if have a lot of contacts as you have to select all the ones you want to transfer. I would export the contacts from Back-up Assistant as a CSV file and then import them to the other account. I don't think there's any way to link them or otherwise get them to communicate directly.

No LG phones are supported by iSync for true syncing, because they don't have the industry standard SyncML protocol for syncing.
However, if your phone supports the industry standard vCard format, you may be able to send vCards from the phone via Bluetooth, and then double-click the received file(s) to import into Address Book.
You'd need to consult your phone's manual for how to do that with your specific phone.

Trouble synching contacts from old non BB phone

I am trying to import contacts from a samsung brightside onto my new q10. I got the contacts saved onto my computer (pc) as separate vcards. Then, I imported them into Windows' contacts folder. Then, using BB Link, I configured the q10 to sync with Windows Contacts.
When I sync, the entries in the Q10 look good, except that the name is repeated in the suffix. So John Smith shows up in the Q10 as John Smith John Smith.
How can I fix this? And is there an easier way to import these contacts?

You will need to find a way to get the contacts to a supported application on the computer, or if they are very minimal contacts, such as only a single number each, you can import them to the iPhone from the SIM, if they are the same size. If not, take it to your carrier. Many carriers have devices to read the SIM card and transfer contacts that way. This is generally the easiest method.

All my contacts on the iPhone are held with my email account which is hosted on an exchange server (synced through activesync).
My email account is being taken away so I need to copy off my contacts and host them on the PC.
