How to get details about disabled ID?

I've had a Verizon iPhone since late April 2011 (it's now June 8, 2011). Twice I've had the "disabled ID for security reasons" thing, and I can't figure out why. I'm the only human in the house. Unless the cat or his fleas have been trying to log in, it hasn't been me...
I got the message tonight, for instance. No trouble re-activating, but how do I get more details about what actually happened between last night and tonight, since I didn't get the message last night? I know that I haven't tried to manually log in for weeks. Is it a glitch that sometimes happens when downloading stuff automatically from the iTunes store? Or is some hacker actually trying to guess my password?
I frequently do start up iTunes (Snow Leopard 10.6.7) to download freebies. The only odd thing I remember in the past few days was when something labeled free triggered something that would have purchased it for real money if I clicked on a yes button. Other than that, the downloads have all just proceeded without fuss. The last phone system update was quite a while ago, although I did update some apps a few days ago.
I think I noticed the App Store was in the active list on my phone within the past few days, even though I didn't deliberately click on it. Also the phone app has started dialing (I think) when I didn't even start it up intentionally a couple of times. Is that what is happening with my id? Did the App Store think I was logging in for some reason? I would think a purchase would need to be started first, though, and I never have seen anything suggesting that's happened. And I don't think that actually happened between last night (no problem) and tonight (disabled).
So is there any place to actually check for activity, so I can figure this out?

a reasonable assumption.
in any case, see these support articles:

  • How to get details about Exception catched in Exception branch of the Block

    Hello Experts,
Is it possible to get details about Exception catched in Exception branch of the Block in Integration Process (BPM)?
In the Exception branch System Error is catched, but from time to time different type of System Errors are happening during sync call to WebService - Connection Timeout, Connection Refused, UnknownHost, etc.
So the task is somehow to map the type of System Error to the response. I was trying to create a mapping using as source the message which is coming from the Adapter after the sync call, but the mapping is failing with "No Source Payload" error.
Maybe the description is somewhere in Header or Dynamic configuration?
Or it is possible to access it somehow with JAVA-maping?
    Thanks for your help!

    Hey,
the message from the exception can be utilized by using alerts(in order to mail, sms r fax). but otherwise its not possible using mappings or container.
check this link for alert configuration.

  • From which infotype we get details about empoyee group ,subgroup company co

From which infotype we get details about empoyee group ,subgroup company code.  based on the selected job position for new employee.

    Hi Aruna,
If i can understand your question better, when we do the hiring how to fetch the default EG/ESG/Co.Code/PSA etc....based on the input of position...
When you create position in OM; also create
    1. Infotype 1008 - Account assignment - To Fetch Co. Code, PA, PSA, Controlling area
    2. Inotype 1013 - EG/ESG - To Fetch Emp Group/Emp SubGroup
Now when you run the hiring action, on IT0000, input the position and hit an enter key...this will call the related values (if integration is active).
    Good Luck !!!!

    Hi,
How to get information about creation of a virtual machine on a Hyper-v host?
I need: host name, time created, creator user.
I saw in Hyper-V-VMMS but I found info about movements of VM between hosts.
    Thank's in advance.
    Denius Valiant

For Host Name * Created Time Use This Command In PowerShell
Get-VM -Name (Read-Host "Type Your Vm Name") |select CreationTime , ComputerName
and for Create User , As i know you should see on Event Log .
Go To Event Log Viewer--->Applications And Services Logs--->Microsoft--->Windows--->Hyper-V-VMMS--->Operational
You can see in Event Log who create the Vm.

  • How To Get AppleToCare About You (iOS7 wifi solved)

I recently encountered the now seemingly infamous iOS7 upgrade wifi bug. After upgrading to iOS 7.1.1 my wifi was subsequently knocked out. After reading skimming the forums and trying a few of the suggested work arounds I was still unable to get my wifi working (at all). I decided to wait for the next software update assuming Apple would fix the bug. What can I say? I like to believe people are inherently good and accountable. No such luck. When I went back to the forums for a better understanding of the problem I was (somewhat) surprised to discover the magnitude of the issue. For me, the end result was a new FREE iPhone despite my warranty expiring several months ago.
Try all of the (reasonable) suggested solutions. They did not work for me but that does not mean they will not work for you - no seriously actually try them:
I turned off wifi and bluetooth, set the phone to airplane mode, turned it off, left it off for several minutes, turned it back on - Nothing.
I reset my Wifi Router - Nothing.
I reset all Settings - Nothing.
I reset my Network Connection - Nothing.
I did a Soft Reset - Hold down the power and home buttons simultaneously and do not release until after the screen goes black and the apple logo appears. - Nothing.
I did a Hard Reset (aka Factory Reset) - BACK UP YOUR PHONE FIRST. I connected to iTunes and performed a backup then hit restore (within iTunes). This can be done directly from your phone but if you're here because you're experiencing wifi issues your phone is probably not backed up to iCloud.
Genius Bar. BE POLITE but firm and know your stuff. They don't owe you anything. Well Apple kinda does, but the employees in the store didn't break your phone so don't act like they did. At the end of the day Apple wrote a buggy code and isn't acknowledging the problem or compensating it's loyal customers. The only way Apple will be held accountable for leaving so many customers out to dry is if customers demand it. However, the Genius Bar is not the place to take out your rage. When I went into the Genius Bar I explained the issue I was having and the steps I had taken in an attempt to fix it. I let her run all the tests and tricks she wanted (knowing full well they weren't going to work). She politely explained to me that I would need to purchase a new phone. I explained to her that I could not, in good conscious, give a company money to solve a problem that they caused. (Some people are crying conspiracy on the part of Apple to get people to buy new phones but I haven't drank the punch yet. - I only took a sip.) I asked if she could do anything else for me. She told me that AppleCare might be responsive to my issue despite my expired warranty as they are a separate entity from Genius Bar and have more authority to help customers. I (sincerely) thanked her (several times) for helping me and asked if I could speak to a manager just to see if there was anything else they could do in store. She said absolutely and that she would "grab a nice manager". I spoke with the manager and briefly explained the issue. I then explained my issue lies primarily with Apple's business model. I, personally, take excellent care of my devices and expect them to last more than a year. I expect that when I buy a device with a premium reputation and a premium price tag that it should be supported by the company for a reasonable amount of time. The iPhone 4s is still being sold in stores and Apple is already neglecting 4s customers - (WILDLY) unacceptable.  The manager was very nice about it and expressed that I made valid points and my frustration was justified but yet no solution.
AppleCare. After stopping in the Windows store to check possible new phones I trudged home. (Despite my fortunate result I still have a sour taste in my mouth from Apple's method of forcing customers to spend money unnecessarily on constantly changing but marginally improving products. I'm now seriously considering a Windows tablet to replace my aging MacBook.) Anyway, when I got home I called AppleCare and had a very similar exchange with the associate on the phone as I'd had in the store and was subsequently transferred my to a manager. Again, I was extremely polite to the associate and grateful for the help but made a firm point of dissatisfaction with Apple. When I got on the phone with the manager our exchange was quite short but he acknowledged that because the issues arose from a software update causing a hardware problem Apple would compensate me. (Yes, software can physically affect hardware. The CIA uses code to blow up bomb detonators masked as cell phones. It's dope. There's a TED talk about it.) In the end I got a new iPhone for FREE (with a standard replacement fee - ok Apple you won that round. It's still significantly less money I'd spend on a new phone from Apple or elsewhere).
Moral of the story: Be polite but demand more from the companies you made (filthy) rich. Companies don't care about their customers as much as they should and we can't sit around and wait for them to behave themselves. We need to demand it (even if it ruins our Sunday afternoons). I'd also like to make it known that several times during these exchanges that I'm probably ditching Apple for good. If you use that approach you should be ready to back it up. I'm probably not going to buy another MacBook as I'm a grown up now doing actual work and Apple's inability to play nice with others makes it really difficult to run much of the software at the level I need. (Programmers, you know what I'm talking about!)  As for phones, I require much less of my phone.  Beyond, you know, using it as an actual phone, I really only use the GPS, music, photos, and web browser so I've always been a fan of the iPhone. After this, however, I don't know if I'll be getting another. I don't like spending money when I don't need to, especially if it's just making fat cats fatter.

  • HOW TO GET INFORMATION ABOUT THE CLIENT MACHINE AT DATABASE LEVEL

HOW TO GET INFORMATION ABOUT THE CLIENT MACHINE AT DATABASE LEVEL USING 10g Database and 10g Application Server
we have developed an application using oracle forms 10g with
oracle database 10g and Application server 10g
Application uses a single Oracle User name to connect to database
where as at Application level there are different users (these are not database users)
Now how can we get the information about the user/his machine etc. at database level. earlier in 6i/8i we use to get by using
    USERENV('TERMINAL')
we had written a triggers on tables on Insert/Update where we used to update a database field Last user terminal with USERENV('TERMINAL')
but not this information is comming to be the machine name of application server where as we wish this to be the machine name of Client. Any Way outs
    thanks

hi, you can use the sys_context function, like this:
    select sys_context('userenv','current_user'),
         sys_context('userenv','os_user'),
         sys_context('userenv','host'),
         sys_context('userenv','ip_address'),
         sys_context('userenv','instance'),
         sys_context('userenv','sessionid'),
         sys_context('userenv','terminal')
    from dual;
Is this what you 're looking for?

  • How to get information about cursor? I had only a reference on it.

    Hello
How to get information about cursor, that I receive in my procedure as a reference. For example I need to know, a number of columns. I know nothing about this cursor, except the link on it.
    Best Regards, Kostya Proskudin!

However, I would seriously reconsider what you are trying to achieve.
It looks like you are trying to write some ultimately generic cursor processor. i.e. pass any cursor and process it in some generic way.
Good design should include knowledge of what is expected to be passed and that knowledge can be put into the code.
Generic code is inherently difficult to maintain and debug and will never 100% deal with all possible situations e.g. even if you know the table being queried in the cursor you can't rely on the data dictionary to give you all the returned columns if some of the returned columns of the cursor are computed columns.
Be careful you aren't writing something that's going to cause problems later.

  • How to get information about limitation Internal Memory on device

    hallo ..
have some question here, so please some person able to answer my questions
    1. How to get Information about limitation internal memory on device
    2. is possible to improve internal memory on Blackberry ( move apps on external memory )
    3. any tools to get internal memory activity ?
thanks for this people who joins here, hope we can share more information about blackberry ..

    In addition...
There are three types of potential memory on a BB: 1) Application Memory, 2) Device Memory, and 3) Media/SD Card Memory.
Application Memory -- This is the most crucial; it is the protected (not user accessible), dedicated, and fixed (in size) space that is available as the destination for the installation of applications (plus some application storage, overhead and such). You cannot touch AppMemory. You cannot improve the maximum AppMemory that your BB has. It is what it is. Applications can only install here...there is no option.
Device Memory -- This is space on your BB that you can touch to store files, pictures, media, etc. Typically, it is not terribly large, but it is available to you.
SD/Media Card Memory-- This is what it says...your SD card, for you to store files, media, pictures, etc. It can be as large as your BB OS can support...see this KB:
KB05461MicroSD card sizes supported by the BlackBerry device software
On some devices/OS levels, you can only see "File Free" (Options > Status), which I think is equivalent to AppMemory. On other devices, you can see all three memory usage levels (Options > Memory). Here are some guidelines to use:
KB02843What is the Low Memory Manager feature on the BlackBerry smartphone
KB14320How to maximize free space and battery power on the BlackBerry smartphone
KB14213Call logs, SMS text messages, and email messages are deleted from the BlackBerry smartphone
Lastly, it is always important to properly close applications when you are done with them. Using the Back or the Red key will not do this -- those leave it to the app to decide what to do...and some will leave themselves resident in memory, consuming resources on your BB, slowing the overall performance. Rather, to close an app, press and select "Close" or "Exit"...that will force the application to be closed, freeing up for your new use the resources it was consuming. Some apps will always remain running (typically -- BBMessenger, Browser, Homescreen, Phone, and Messages)...but, you should still close them properly - especially the Browser...if it is left on an active web page, it will not only consume extra resources but battery power as well.
Further, anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure. Some have taken to doing this on a regular basis as a preventive measure...some as frequently as once per day. Others have obtained the QuickPull app to automate a simulated Batt-Pull.
    Good luck!

  • How to get information about file owner in UNIX

    Dear all
I would like to write a file management program in Solaris 8 using Java.
However, I don't know how to get the file owner and file permission information
by any Java class. Please advise.
    Sincerely Yours
    Mr. Voravit H.

I fear there will be no pure java solution, because file owner and file permissions are platform-dependent issues, especially about the gory details (groups, executable / sticky / setuid-bits, ACL etc.)
AFAIK java supports only the notion of a file's being readable or writeable but nothing further.
On the other hand, some (even popular and wide-sprread) platforms / file systems do not have the notion of the owner of a file.
So you will need some platform-specific solution like running an external command or calling the C function "stat".

  • How to get info about the mobile, like screensize...

    thx,
the example below shows some basic information.
    Display myDisplay = Display.getDisplay(this);
    Displayable dis = myDisplay.getCurrent();
    int high = dis.getHeight();
    int width = dis.getWidth();
    boolean isCol = myDisplay.isColor();
int nubCol = myDisplay.numColors();more detailed information about model, aren't available through the standard api, on blackberry's there some restricted apis that provide these device-type and other detailed information...
for more basic information, just look at the class-methods from display and displayable...

  • SAP_WAPI_GET_OBJECTS: How to get detailed values

    Hi experts,
I am using BAPI SAP_WAPI_GET_OBJECTS to get container information within my Java Web Dynpro Application. This RFC (BAPI) contains some information about the used Business Object with the given Import-Parameter and some other general values (in TABLE Output Objects and Objects2) but I also need the dependent values from this Business Object. For example, I use BUS1001with a material number as input in order to get detailed information like material group and other values in that container.
How can I retrieve that in BAPIs (RFC) in order to use it in Web Dynpro? Are there some other existing BAPIs, I can use to get these information?
    Best regards,
    Frank

    Hi,
If you need just few attributes from the business object(s), it might be easier to just bind them from the business object to the task container. Then you can read the container with SAP_WAPI_READ_CONTAINER.
If you want to really instantiate the business objects, you need to develop your own RFC enabled function. And even then it might be finally easier (inside your custom function) to get your needed business data by using some other BAPIs or even direct SELECTs from database with your key fields.
    REgards,

  • How to get intimation about DAQmx Physical Channel invalid value encounter

Can anybody tell me that if a DAQmx Control gets value from a configuration file( .ini file ) and the value is invalid (does not exist in the available physical channels list) than how I can be programatically intimated. I couldn't find any property node of DAQmx Physical channel Control which tells about that the current value feeded to the control is invalid.

Thanks Alan, I have got a better soloution from you in another thread launched by me with title "How to get "Browse list of any DAQmx control in array form". In which u suggested of using DAQmx 8.0, which I have downloaded and used the property node DAQmx-Device>>DO.Lines to get an array of all Physical channels(DO category) of all devices. The value taken from that configuration file is searched in Physical channels array and if no match found than the value is invalid.

  • Where can we get details about "Caller Name ID"??

I just got an alert on my phone that I had been automatically signed up for a ten day free trial of something called "Caller Name ID", which would automatically continue unless I cancel it.  Aside from the general shadiness of auto-enrolling me in something that will (soon) cost extra money, there are some big problems with this: the message didn't give any real information about the service, including---crucially---how much it was going to cost!  I can't find any information about the service online either (there are references to "Share Name ID", but that appears to be a different thing and says it's free).
So, to start with: how much will this service cost?
What-all does the service actually do that my phone doesn't already do?
When is any of this information going to be available on the main Verizon website?

We have some amazing features that help enhance your wireless experience blahedo. I'm sorry about the auto enrollment into Caller Name ID but once your free trial is completed, you will not be auto enrolled to the paid feature. The cost of this awesome feature is $2.99 per month. This feature allow you to receive more details about your incoming calls. It also allows you to see the following information:
      • Name
      • Number
      • City*
      • State*
      • Picture**
City, state and picture are only for phones with a display of three lines and the picture is only for customers who have a picture uploaded to their profile.Once the trial is completed, you will have the option to click ok and stop trial or ok and continue to have the feature added to your phone with the cost. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

  • How to get detailed specifications by machine type model ?

    Hi,
I am looking for a refurbished Thinkpad Lenovo (model X220/X230, T420(s)/T430(s)).
I would like to know where I can find the detailed specifications by using the machine type model ?
For the moment, I was using the PSREF, but I discovered that not all machine type were detailed.
    For example, the machine 2324-C44.
I found this : http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-x-series-laptops/thinkpad-x23... but the specifications seems to be incomplete : baclit keyboard ? IPS premium screen ? finger print reader ? webcam ? WWAN ?
    Thanks,

  • Get details about Sharepoint Exception when Publishing

    Hi all,
We've build a Custom WP which inherits from the CQWP and we have extended the WP with new properties.
Our site uses variations, when we modify the WP in the source variation the properties are replicated in the other variations except for the properties we have added in our custom WP.
When analyzing the SPS logs I have the following error when the replication failed:
