How to get facetime back
i have just bought an ipod second hand it has latest update on. my facetime is showing in notifications but no icon to be found ive tried spotsearch and it not anywhere on my ipod i have checked region and all restrictions are disabled is there a way to get it back.
The Users Guide says:
Making a FaceTime call
To make a FaceTime call, choose someone from your contacts, favorites, or list of recent calls.
When you open FaceTime, you may be prompted to sign in using your Apple ID, or to create a new account.
Tap to make aFaceTime call.
Call a contact: Tap Contacts, choose a name, then tap FaceTime. If you don’t see the FaceTime button, make sure FaceTime is turned on. Go to Settings > FaceTime.
Can you do that?

You can share the same Apple ID for purchasng form the iTunes and app stores without any problems, but you should all used separate iCloud accounts with separate Apple IDs. (You are not required to use the same ID for iCloud and other services as you do for the iTunes store.) This will prevent you from ending up with merged data. You should also use separate Apple IDs for iMessage and FaceTime or you will end up getting each other's text messages and FaceTime calls.

I accidentally deleted the facebook app off my phone, but it won't let me go into the app store and DL it again it says it's already installed. Does anyone know how I get facebook back???

You can't install FaceTime on devices sold in countries that don't allow the use of this program. It is not included in the software.
You'll have to buy a phone from a country that does not restrict the use of FaceTime. But remember that the warranty for an iPhone is only valid in the country where you bought it. In case of getting it serviced, you'll have to bring it back to that country. -

if you hid the menu bar and the navigation bar simply press the alt button, this will bring back the menu bar and form there you can right click and select which bars you want shown

My front screen seems to zoom in when I start it now. AND, now I can not see the page fit the screen. It makes me scroll on the borders to move parts of the screen into view. Something changed and I don't know what happened or how to get it back to normal. Please HELP!!! Thx!
it is possible that zoom maybe enabled i think double taping with three fingers should disable it.
or you can go into settings>general> assessability> zoom and turn it off.

In my Finder window, the picture icons that usually show up next to the items are not there. i.e. in my sidebar, the little pictures that are usually by the Application, Desktop, Documents, etc items. Also, the back and forward arrows, list items and tasks don't show as well. Any ideas on how to get them back?

The App store is a iOS function and cannot be deleted. Try checking other home screens/folders and see if you can locate it. If not, go into Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

I am trying to figure out how to efficiently copy a contact so I can add the contact information to an email. While experimenting I unchecked the menu bar or the tool bar from my address book and now I can't figure out how to get it back. So you could say I have two questions for which I would welcome suggestions:
1. How do I get my menu/tool bar back into my address book?
2. How can I efficiently copy and paste contact information?

Rowdy1The alt key or F10 will reveal hidden toolbars. Then use View- Toolbars to turn them back on.
Then press F9 when in a write window to turn on the contact sidebar for access to your address books. -
I had purchased an audio book from itunes on my iPad and when I synced my iPad with my computer, my audiobook disappeared. I have already purchased this audiobook, so now I just need to know how to get it back because it is not on iPad anymore. I don't think the audiobook was backed up to icloud but I have the receipt to prove I purchased it. Is there anyway I can get it back?

If you purchased it on your ipad, then you would have to transfer it to your computer. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases.
You can then listen to it on your computer. -

Respond please!Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then see if you can redownload your past music purchases (those that are still in the store) via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you are not in a country where music can currently be re-downloaded, then have you not got it on your computer and/or on a backup ?
