How to get FM8 to generate .xml not .entXX

Hello all,
When exporting a book to xml, I get one xml file and many entity files...is there a way to get framemaker to output only xml files? Thanks.

hmm.. not sure if this is possible. You can send the SOAP request to XI to the Sender SOAP adapter. But dont think it will be possible to post the message directly to ECC.

Welcome to the Support Communities! There are two things I can think of to keep your Stepdad's information separate from yours on the computer and the iPad. On the computer, he should have his own administrative account, and on the iPad he needs his own Apple ID for iTunes and iCloud services. Here is some basic information to get started. I don't know if you have a Mac or Windows computer, so I'll include info for both.)

If your Mac has multiple users, you should set up an account for each person so he or she can personalize settings and options without affecting other users.
Add a user
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Users & Groups.

Follow the steps below to create a new user account in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

Just use the appropriate API's for that. There are enough API's out which can read/parse/write XML, ini and properties files. E.g. JAXP or DOM4J for xml files, INI4J for ini files and Sun's own java.util.Properties for propertiesfiles.
JSF supports properties files as message bundle and resource bundle so that you can use them for error messages and/or localization.

I am running SAX (JAXP1.01) in Applet to process XML file. My question is how to get data out of xml format according to the field name (@age,@rank etc)
and write into string buffer seperated by comma.
Should I use SAX or DOM? (file size is big)

For big files use SAX: quicker and less memory usage.
The xerces parser from Apache has some examples. Basically what you do is scan the XML, remembering what tag you are and once you find the right tag, read the contents.

if you're using flash.filesystem.FileReference - then it is run in black box - except of filename, size and creation data (and few other properties available after some operation succeeded). This is part of security features in Flash runtime (described in header section):

This for example implies that user can download a content to local machine - but that content cannot be loaded back into Flash runtime. For this you would need either Air runtime flash.filesystem.File:

(so you would created Air runtime based application: desktop or mobile but not web, even as standalone project) or you would need one of 3rd party tools that add file access/file information features to standard Flash runtime applications converted to standalone native applications.

Cant get rid of repeating future events. I deleted the calendar with these events but now I still have these "ghost" events showing up!! How to get rid of these and not have forever!! Really irritating, wont use repeat events ever again!! Have this problem on iphone and ipad even though deleted calendar from both!! Which BTW deleted my email connected with it too which was really irritating.

How to get TestStand30 to generate a XML file compatible with teststand2.01

TestStand 2.01 came with an example sequence file and modelsupport.DLL that would generate XML report files. It had a particular format that was hardcoded in the DLL. Then TestStand 3.0 came allong and NI decided to put it in the standard process model and change the code that creates it. Doing so, they changed the format of the XML file. This format is now based on the file Report.XSD (XML schema file). TestStand 2.01 didnot use a XSD file. My question is, is there anybody out there that knows enough about these XSD file to creat one that would make TestStand 3.0 generate the same file format as the TestStand 2.01 did?

The XSD (XML schema file) just defines the legal building blocks of an XML document. TestStand does not modify its XML output based on changes to the XSD file.
Unfortunately, currently there is no method to make TestStand 3.0 generate a 2.0.1 format of XML output.
You can continue using the old method of generating XML reports without issues.

How to send the dynamically generated XML file to other site for further processing?

I have a question regarding exchanging data between two systems
using XSQL servlet. The situation is descrbed as the follows:
Assume that we have a simple XSQL page named "emp.xsql"

processing, say, using JSP or ASP likes

How can it be implemented using XSQL servlet?

OSB: How to get stored in sbconsole xml document in message flow

I created a xml document (say ram.xml) as a XML document utility resource in OSB sbconsole.
I want to refer this in message flow with fn:doc. Unlike xquery i can't assign ram.xml to a variable.
I tried fn:doc("/home/osbuser/user_projects/domains/domain_name/osb/config/core/ram.xml") and fn:doc("file:////home/osbuser/user_projects/domains/domain_name/osb/config/core/ram.xml") it didn't work!
I know if i store this xml as a xquery, it will get assigned to a variable. But i am just curious to see how fn:doc works!

The reason for this is to eliminitate each assign action for each of XMLs that I use. Each assign gets converted into a xml bean and thats overhead.
If this fn:doc() works, what i am planning is to use fn:doc() inside my xquery transformations directly, without using assign action to load XML.
Also message flow will become somewhat cleaner.
fn:doc() has to be used in a way that it uses relative path to access xml and not complete path (starting from /home/user_doamains/..) because development and production environment domain names are different. Using relative path, code can migrate without any change across environments.

This set of classes was available in the J2ee.jar that was packaged with j2sdkee1.2.1, This set of classes is NOT in the j2ee.jar of the j2sdkee1.3.1. After we upgraded, we started to get these errors ... have no idea where/if these classes are still available as add on api or not. I downloaded the the java xml pack and this class is not available in any of the jars contained within.

WE60 enter the IDoc type then menu path Documentation->XML Schema. This may depend on what version of SAP you are on.

This is happening because they were purchased with your older Apple ID. Apps and there updates are permanently tied to the Apple ID used to purchase them, regardless of the ID on your phone in Settings>Store. The only way to stop the prompt for your older ID would be to delete these apps from your phone.

Hello Alain, you should try the OMBLOG variable. If you set it inside OMBPlus:
set OMBLOG c:/temp/mylog.txtthen all the OWB specific commands are logged with their output. By OWB specific I mean all those that start with OMB.
This is more than what you see in the interface, because:
- messages inside procedures are logged; you wouldn't see them on std.output when you call a proc
- variables are resolved, so if you issue the command
set my_var VERY_IMPORTANT_TABLE
OMBDROP TABLE '$v_myvar'the log will show:
OMBDROP TABLE 'VERY_IMPORTANT_TABLE'
Table dropped
and you know something is wrong... so OMBLOG is very useful to intercept all manipulations on you repository.
If what you want instead is a dump of the screen output when you execute a script, I suggest you redirect standard output from the operating system command line. Unfortunately OMBPlus doesn't support all advanced redirection and tracing features of the TCL language.

To begin, quit Lightroom
On Windows do the following
Click the Windows start button and in the search box type:-
%appdata%\adobe\lightroom
Then press the Return\Enter key
That will take you to the Lightroom folder (see image below)
Select the Preferences folder and hit delete to send it to the recycle bin.
Close the Lightroom folder and re-start the Lightroom program.
