How to get full package path?

Hi all.
My program consists of 2 files:
1.) run.exe
2.) classes.zip
The second (.zip) file contains java classes. How can I gain a full path to any package in this .zip file? I tried
MyClass.class.getPackage().getName() but it returned only somethig like myPackage.mySecondPackage. But I need full path, something like C:\My program\...
Many thanks.
Miso

I tried
> MyClass.class.getPackage().getName()
but it returned only somethig like
myPackage.mySecondPackage. But I need full
path, something like C:\My program\...
Think of it a bit: your jar (or zip) file is stored in, say 'c:\MyPrograms'
as 'myjar.zip'. What should the path of your class file be then?
'c:\MyPrograms\myjar.zip\myPackage.mySecondPackage.MyClass'
wouldn't make any sense would it?
Leaving out the name of the jar/zip file itself wouldn't make any sense
either. IOW, the 'absolute path' of a class doesn't make any sense,
as long as the JVM can find your classes everything is fine.
kind regards,
Jos

  • SP Designer Workflow: How to Get Full URL Path to List Item and inserted same list ITem URL in another list

    Hi,
    I have requirement in Sp Designer 2010,Get List item URL and insert in another list as one column value.When open another list and click on same item  column entry url will show the parent item information.
    Here i have create work flow and insert item URL in another list but cant find appropriate item url information.I can easily make  item url link through String builder in mail body with using current id and predefine link,but
    when try to insert the same type of item link in another list where i cant find string builder for create custom url link,only get valur of Path,URL,Absolute URL and Relative server URL,all these links or not provide me exact
    item link dispaly information.
    So I opened SharePoint Designer and start creating the workflow associated to the list.
    As there is some Field from source related to current item URL I start using it
    Encoded Absolute URL – this one should be the one to use
    Server Relative URL
    URL Path
    Unfortunately, none of these options were providing the correct link. Indeed, these options are providing an incorrect path:
    Encoded Absolute URL
    http://wfe1/Lists/bpf/1_.000
    Server Relative URL
    /Lists/bpf/1_.000
    URL Path
    /Lists/bpf/1_.000
    As you can see, the item URL is composed by an ID while it should be http://wfe1/Lists/bpf/dispform.aspx?id=1

    Unfortunately, [%Current Item:URL%] doesn't seem to be available from a "Site Workflow" associated to a List.   I'm finding less advantages to doing a "Site Workflow" when I don't necessarily need to.  One problem is the workflow is initiating
    twice.   I'm thinking I should have just created the workflow as a a "List Workflow."
    I am going to try "Association Columns" -- that may work.  Anyone have other suggestions?

  • How to get full path in file browse item

    Hi
    I have a file item. When I submit the form and store and value in db, then the file path is stored as numbers and appended to the file name. I undestand that this is because of some wwv flow files index or something . How to get the file path? Anybody...

    For security/privacy reasons recent versions of browsers by default do not send local file path information from File Browse items to the server, nor expose the file path in the control's JavaScript methods. Firefox, Safari and Chrome only provide the filename. IE6 & IE7 still yield the path in Windows format. IE8 and Opera have adopted an irritating approach of replacing the path with a wholly imaginary "C:\fakepath\".
    Changes to IE's security config can enable the path to be exposed in IE8, but I don't think it will be available via <tt>apex_application_files</tt>.

  • Specify the full package path

    Well, here is a real beginner question. How can i specify the full package path of SUNs java.io package? And another beginner question, where is this package located on my computer? (relative to my java sdk installion path of course)

    Acctually I have a severe problem with leJOS. Here is my code:
    import java.io.*;
    import josx.rcxcomm.RCXBean;
    public class PCModule
         public static void main( String[] args )
              recv();
         public static void recv()
              RCXBean rcxb = new RCXBean();
              try
                   rcxb.setComPort("USB");
                   while(true)
                        System.out.println( "Test" );
              catch( IOException e )
    }This should compile fine, if lejosc would use the SUN java.io But it intends to use the own implementation of java.io and I really need to find a workaround to this problem because otherwise the code wont compile throwing the error, that the out symbol cannot be resolved.
    Btw. this part of the program should listen to the mindstorms IR-Tower for messages of a RCX-Brig and wirte them to an output stream.
    Isn't there a way to force lejosc to use the java.io package from sun?
    P.S.: If I don't use the System.out-line everything is fine, so lejos is installed correctly and if write a java test app everything is fine, so the SUN Java SDK is installed correctly too.

  • How to get the current path of my application in java ?

    how to get the current path of my application in java ?
    thanks

    To get the path where your application has been installed you have to do the following:
    have a class called "what_ever" in the folder.
    then you do a litte:
    String path=
    what_ever.class.getRessource("what_ever.class").toString()
    That get you a string like:
    file:/C:/Program Files/Cool_program/what_ever.class
    Then you process the result a little to remove anything you don't want:
    path=path.substring(path.indexOf('/')+1),path.lastIndexOf('/'))
    //Might be a little error here but you should find out //quickly if it's the case
    And here you go, you have a nice
    C:/Program Files/Cool_program
    which is the path to your application.

  • How to get the absolute path of logicalhost server domain on Windows?

    My logicalhost server domain behaves strangely. I am reading a file from collaboration definiton, that is located in the logicalhost/is/domains/domain1/config folder. I thought, that this folder is used as an application root folder so I can read files like ./file from there. And it worked.
    But then I've installed the domain as a Windows service, restarted the PC. When the domain1 gets started, I get exceptions saying that the file can't be found. Then I restart the domain (in domainmgr.bat) and it works again.
    I am pretty sure that using the absolute path will solve this issue, so my first question is: How to get the absolute path of logicalhost server domain on Windows?
    And my second question is: Why does this happen?

    The default folder for a Windows Service is the system32 folder contrary to the instance root folder when starting it as a normal process.
    That's the why, haven't tried the how, but you should be able to get the value by calling System.getProperty("com.sun.aas.instanceRoot").
    Hope this helps

  • How to get full screen caller pic in ios 7.1

    How to get full screen caller pic in ios 7.1.Please help me

    Haha .. I have seen one million post on this issue since 7.1 was released. Everybody hates it and it is perhaps Apple's stupidest design decision. I, personally, happen to like it ... or not mind it as much either way, I should say.
    But that's not what you asked ... Apple thought it was best for some odd reason to change the full screen pics to an itty bitty circle. As a previous poster said, it cannot be changed. But be sure to go to Apple's feedback website and let them know you are unhappy about it. I sense an iOS 7.1.1 coming out REAL soon!

  • How to capture full file path on Adobe Interactive Form using Acro JS

    Hi All,
    I have a requirement where I have a field ZPATH1 on Adobe Interactive Form. I am putting a BROWSE button and writing following JavaScript on CLICK event on this button for populating the chosen file path into field ZPATH1.
    *Start of JavaScript
    var sFile;
    event.target.importDataObject(sFile);
    var oFile;
    oFile = event.target.getDataObject(sFile);
    this.parent.parent.Sub_Form_Fields_Mass.ZPATH1.rawValue = oFile.path;
    *End of JavaScript
    1. event.target.importDataObject(sFile) --> Giving me the pop up to select the file.
    2. this.parent.parent.Sub_Form_Fields_Mass.ZPATH1.rawValue = oFile.path; --> Putting the oFile path in field ZPATH1 on the form.
    3. This way is only giving me the selected FILE NAME whereas I need the complete path.
    I have tried below way also:
    this.parent.parent.Sub_Form_Fields_Mass.ZPATH1.rawValue = even.target.path;
    This function returns me the complete path but in URL form. It does not give me the presentation server path.
    Please suggest me how to get the complete path of presentation server to the file.
    Appreciation would be honored in form of points!!!

  • How to get the application path?

    Does some body know how to get the application path in Java? Here is an example about what I'm thinking: Let's imagin the application is on "c:\try" or "c:\ProgramFiles\MyApp". My question is how can I find the path where the application is. Please give an example if you know the answer. Thank you so much.

    Those two replies give you some useful directories, it's true, but maybe not what the OP asked. However the OP asked for something that doesn't have a meaning (applications don't have to be "on" any directory, whatever that might mean).
    Would the OP like to describe what the actual problem is here?
