  • How to get messages from IBM MQ in Oracle.

    Hi ,
    Can you please help me how to get messages from one IBM MQ to another IBM MQ in Oracle.
    My requirement is Our upstream is putting messages from their IBM MQ to our IBM MQ
    then we have to extract data from the message and load into Oracle database tables
    how to implement this  in oracle.
    Is there any other way to implement this without writing any ORACLE PL/SQL programming.
    Please help me.
    Thanks.

    You might want to use Oracle AQ: Integrating Oracle database applications with WebSphere MQ applications You will need to write some PL/SQL to Dequeue from Oracle AQ and convert the queue payload into insert statements.
    If you need help wityh AQ, there is a separate forum: Advanced Queueing

  • Anyone know how to get a copy of a IBM 7845I2 Recovery Disk?

    Anyone know how to get a copy of a IBM 7845I2 Recovery Disk?, My multipoint switch is stuck in read only mode -  Please use Recovery Disk to check the file system using fsck.

    Hello Elizabeth,
    Did you read the title of my post?  I am simply asking if anyone knows how to pull a history of repair records.
    This page https://www22.verizon.com/secure/pages/requestrepair/ clearly states "You can view a history of past repair requests." Unfortunately, I cannot find anywhere on that site where one can do that. So, I am asking for user to user help on finding out how to gain access to that information.

  • How do you get IBM Access Connections on T41 to remember channel of weak signal SSID?

    I have a T41 with Windows XP SP2. It uses IBM Access Connections to connect to wireless networks.
    How can I get IBM Access Connections to store the channel used by an SSID, so that it won't roam through all channels over and over looking for a better channel?

    i seem unable to setup the AE to do the same thing. i can stream audio to my hifi no problems - this is cool. i can set it up to create a wireless network and give it a different ssid and channel but it doesnt seem to want to choose the same ssid. i can manually change it to the same - is this what i should do?
    Yes you will manually need to enter the SSID.
    however when i do this the AE trys to act as DHCP and gives a 10.1 address to the laptop which is odd
    You also need to configure the AirPort Express (AX) to bridge (not share a single IP address).
    should i be using the join a wireless network option instead of the create a network? but isnt this for people who are extending their networks wirelessly?
    You should be using the "create a network" option.

  • How to get and install the new MSI Bluetooth Software Package 1.4.3.3.

    How to get and install the new MSI Bluetooth Software Package 1.4.3.3.
    This little FAQ will only cover the new version of MSI Bluetooth Software Package.
    First thing too do is unistall any older version of the MSI Bluetooth Software.
    Do this through the Add/Remove program applet in your control panel.
    There seams too be only through Live update you could get the new version of MSI Bluetooth Software Package.
    If you can't see any enter for MSI Bluetooth Software in the Live driver section of Live update then you have too enter the following too your registry.
    Create following code in Notepad and save it as MSILD.reg, then run the file.
    ;-->Code start
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MSI\Drivers\MSI Bluetooth Software]
    "DrvSetup"="1"
    "Version"="1.4.2.10"
    ;-->Code end
    Rerun the Live update and hopefully you will now see a entry for MSI Bluetooth Software in Live driver section.
    Install the new version of MSI Bluetooth Software and reboot your computer. Even if the setup program doesnt told you too doit.
    After rebooting the computer you will see the Bluetooth icon in the taskbar. If it's Red then try too start the Bluetooth services by right click on the try icon and the only alternetiv there is.
    If the Bluetooth services is asking for a valid licens.dat then you should do the following.
    Surf to Jon's Bluetooth guide http://www.jonsguides.com./bluetooth/prepare.html and download the patcher from the link there.
    Unzip the the patcher and then run the BTWPatcher.exe program.
    Now the Bluetooth services will start and you will bee able too configure your own settings for the Bluetooth services.
    If nothing of this work you could try the complete Bluetooth solution at Jon's gudie and install the IBM version of the same program. I havent test this solution and will not do soo.

    I have the MS-6968 device and i want to use driver 1.4.x or 3.0.x. I found the driver 1.4.2.10 but i cannot find any WIDCOMMSecurity code.
    So, can anyone give me a link for BTWPatcher.exe???
    It cannot be found here (Jon's Bluetooth ) anymore.
    Thanks

    The Radeon 9000 driver works for the Radeon 7500 card.  I have successfully used it on a T43 with Vista Ultimate x86

    Unfortunately no.  The Radeon 9000 driver should bring your graphics score up to close to 2, but it will not get it high enough to enable Aero support.

    There are several good tools that allow you to access COM objects from Java. Here are two of the better ones:
    Bridge2Java
    http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/tech/bridge2java
    J-Integra
    http://www.linar.com/
    Both of these tools will allow you to access MS Office products (including Word and Excel) via COM interfaces.

  • How to get system Environment variable?

    How to get system Environment variable without using jni?
    just like "JAVA_HOME" or "PATH"...
    Any reply is help to me!! :-)

    Thx for your reply...
    I get it!!!
    Read environment variables from an application
    Start the JVM with the "-D" switch to pass properties to the application and read them with the System.getProperty() method. SET myvar=Hello world
    SET myothervar=nothing
    java -Dmyvar="%myvar%" -Dmyothervar="%myothervar%" myClass
    then in myClass String myvar = System.getProperty("myvar");
    String myothervar = System.getProperty("myothervar");
    This is useful when using a JAVA program as a CGI.
    (DOS bat file acting as a CGI) java -DREQUEST_METHOD="%REQUEST_METHOD%"
    -DQUERY_STRING="%QUERY_STRING%"
    javaCGI
    If you don't know in advance, the name of the variable to be passed to the JVM, then there is no 100% Java way to retrieve them.
    NOTE: JDK1.5 provides a way to achieve this, see this HowTo.
    One approach (not the easiest one), is to use a JNI call to fetch the variables, see this HowTo.
    A more low-tech way, is to launch the appropriate call to the operating system and capture the output. The following snippet puts all environment variables in a Properties class and display the value the TEMP variable. import java.io.*;
    import java.util.*;
    public class ReadEnv {
    public static Properties getEnvVars() throws Throwable {
    Process p = null;
    Properties envVars = new Properties();
    Runtime r = Runtime.getRuntime();
    String OS = System.getProperty("os.name").toLowerCase();
    // System.out.println(OS);
    if (OS.indexOf("windows 9") > -1) {
    p = r.exec( "command.com /c set" );
    else if ( (OS.indexOf("nt") > -1)
    || (OS.indexOf("windows 2000") > -1 )
    || (OS.indexOf("windows xp") > -1) ) {
    // thanks to JuanFran for the xp fix!
    p = r.exec( "cmd.exe /c set" );
    else {
    // our last hope, we assume Unix (thanks to H. Ware for the fix)
    p = r.exec( "env" );
    BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader
    ( new InputStreamReader( p.getInputStream() ) );
    String line;
    while( (line = br.readLine()) != null ) {
    int idx = line.indexOf( '=' );
    String key = line.substring( 0, idx );
    String value = line.substring( idx+1 );
    envVars.setProperty( key, value );
    // System.out.println( key + " = " + value );
    return envVars;
    public static void main(String args[]) {
    try {
    Properties p = ReadEnv.getEnvVars();
    System.out.println("the current value of TEMP is : " +
    p.getProperty("TEMP"));
    catch (Throwable e) {
    e.printStackTrace();
    Thanks to W.Rijnders for the W2K fix.
    An update from Van Ly :
    I found that, on Windows 2003 server, the property value for "os.name" is actually "windows 2003." So either that has to be added to the bunch of tests or just relax the comparison strings a bit: else if ( (OS.indexOf("nt") > -1)
    || (OS.indexOf("windows 2000") > -1 )
    || (OS.indexOf("windows 2003") > -1 ) // works but is quite specific to 2003
    || (OS.indexOf("windows xp") > -1) ) {
    else if ( (OS.indexOf("nt") > -1)
    || (OS.indexOf("windows 20") > -1 ) // probably is better since no other OS would return "windows" anyway
    || (OS.indexOf("windows xp") > -1) ) {
    I started with "windows 200" but thought "what the hell" and made it "windows 20" to lengthen its longivity. You could push it further and use "windows 2," I suppose. The only thing to watch out for is to not overlap with "windows 9."
    On Windows, pre-JDK 1.2 JVM has trouble reading the Output stream directly from the SET command, it never returns. Here 2 ways to bypass this behaviour.
    First, instead of calling directly the SET command, we use a BAT file, after the SET command we print a known string. Then, in Java, when we read this known string, we exit from loop. [env.bat]
    @set
    @echo **end
    [java]
    if (OS.indexOf("windows") > -1) {
    p = r.exec( "env.bat" );
    while( (line = br.readLine()) != null ) {
    if (line.indexOf("**end")>-1) break;
    int idx = line.indexOf( '=' );
    String key = line.substring( 0, idx );
    String value = line.substring( idx+1 );
    hash.put( key, value );
    System.out.println( key + " = " + value );
    The other solution is to send the result of the SET command to file and then read the file from Java. ...
    if (OS.indexOf("windows 9") > -1) {
    p = r.exec( "command.com /c set > envvar.txt" );
    else if ( (OS.indexOf("nt") > -1)
    || (OS.indexOf("windows 2000") > -1
    || (OS.indexOf("windows xp") > -1) ) {
    // thanks to JuanFran for the xp fix!
    p = r.exec( "cmd.exe /c set > envvar.txt" );
    // then read back the file
    Properties p = new Properties();
    p.load(new FileInputStream("envvar.txt"));
    Thanks to JP Daviau
    // UNIX
    public Properties getEnvironment() throws java.io.IOException {
    Properties env = new Properties();
    env.load(Runtime.getRuntime().exec("env").getInputStream());
    return env;
    Properties env = getEnvironment();
    String myEnvVar = env.get("MYENV_VAR");
    To read only one variable : // NT version , adaptation for other OS is left as an exercise...
    Process p = Runtime.getRuntime().exec("cmd.exe /c echo %MYVAR%");
    BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader
    ( new InputStreamReader( p.getInputStream() ) );
    String myvar = br.readLine();
    System.out.println(myvar);
    Java's System properties contains some useful informations about the environment, for example, the TEMP and PATH environment variables (on Windows). public class ShowSome {
    public static void main(String args[]){
    System.out.println("TEMP : " + System.getProperty("java.io.tmpdir"));
    System.out.println("PATH : " + System.getProperty("java.library.path"));
    System.out.println("CLASSPATH : " + System.getProperty("java.class.path"));
    System.out.println("SYSTEM DIR : " +
    System.getProperty("user.home")); // ex. c:\windows on Win9x system
    System.out.println("CURRENT DIR: " + System.getProperty("user.dir"));
    Here some tips from H. Ware about the PATH on different OS.
    PATH is not quite the same as library path. In unixes, they are completely different---the libraries typically have their own directories. System.out.println("the current value of PATH is: {" +
    p.getProperty("PATH")+"}");
    System.out.println("LIBPATH: {" +
    System.getProperty("java.library.path")+"}");
    gives the current value of PATH is:
    {/home/hware/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/xpg4/bin:/opt/SUNWspro/bin:/usr/ccs/bin:
    /usr/ucb:/bin:/usr/bin:/home/hware/linux-bin:/usr/openwin/bin/:/usr/games/:

    You must wrap your contents into a FORM element and, then, using getParameter("escolha"), retrieve your value.

  • How to get formatted text into arrays

    Dear experts and helpers,
    For my project I import an RTF file and then read the data from it into 3 arrays. This works fine when just using the string contents of the paragraphs. However, the final script should be able to read and replace formatted text...
    Why use the intermediate arrays? Because otherwise I need to switch back and forth between two fm-documents (and one may be a book component).
    The imported file starts with a number of lines separated into two items by a TAB (» denotes a TAB, in FM \x08)
    [[Garneau, 1990 #12]]    »   [9]
    The right item may also be locally formatted text, e.g. [9]
    Then follow the same (or smaller) number of paragraphs with formatted text like this:
    [9] » D. Garneau, Ed., National Language Support Reference Manual (National language Information Design Guide. Toronto, CDN: IBM National Language Technical Centre, 1990.
    Is it possible to replace in the body of the function below the following piece
      while(pgf.ObjectValid()) {
        pgfText = GetText (pgf, newDoc);
        gaBibliography.push(pgfText);
        pgf = pgf.NextPgfInFlow;
    with this
      while(pgf.ObjectValid()) {
        gaBibliography.push(pgf);
        pgf = pgf.NextPgfInFlow;
    Do I need a special declaration of the array gaBibliography ?
    And how to get the right part of the intro lines as formatted thingy into array gaFmtCitsFmt ?
    Currently I read into arrays only the 'strings' (function GetText not shown):
    var gaFmtCitsRaw  = [];                           // left column in processed RTF
    var gaFmtCitsFmt  = [];                           // right column in processed RTF
    var gaBibliography= [];                           // bibliography lines from processed RTF
    // filename is something like E:\_DDDprojects\FM+EN-escript\FM-testfiles\BibFM-collected-IEEE.rtf
    function ReadFileRTF (fileName) {
      var nCits=0, nBib = 0, openParams, openReturnParams, newDoc, pgf, pgfText ;
      var TAB = String.fromCharCode(8);               // FM has wrong ASCI for TAB
      var parts = [];
      openParams = GetOpenDefaultParams();
      openReturnParams =  new PropVals();
      newDoc = Open (fileName, openParams, openReturnParams);
      pgf = newDoc.MainFlowInDoc.FirstTextFrameInFlow.FirstPgf;  // get first pgf in flow
    // --- read the temp/formatted citations
      while(pgf.ObjectValid()) {
        pgfText = GetText (pgf, newDoc);
        if (pgfText.substring (0,2) == "[[") {        // citation lines start with [[
          parts = pgfText.split(TAB);                 // get the two parts of the line
          gaFmtCitsRaw.push (parts[0]);               // Push the result onto the global array
          gaFmtCitsFmt.push (parts[1]);
          pgf = pgf.NextPgfInFlow;
        } else { break }
    // --- read the bibliography
      while(pgf.ObjectValid()) {                      // until end of doc
        pgfText = GetText (pgf, newDoc);
        gaBibliography.push(pgfText);
        pgf = pgf.NextPgfInFlow;
      newDoc.Close (Constants.FF_CLOSE_MODIFIED);
    } // --- end ReadFileRTF
    The next questions then will be how to modify Ian Proudfoot's FindAndReplace script to handle formatted text as replacement. IMHO i will need to use copy/paste ...

    Klaus,
    Working with text is about the most complicated thing to do within FrameMaker. It seems counter-intuitive, since it is about the easiest thing to do with the GUI. But alas, once you remove the ability to select with a mouse and type with a keyboard, text becomes a wild jungle of complexity.
    Text ranges are not too bad, once you get the general idea. It is just that... a range of text, like something you would select with a mouse. Like a mouse selection, it starts before some character in some paragraph and ends after some character in some paragraph. It may be the same paragraph, which is a selection within a paragraph. The character can even be the same, which is then just an insertion point (cursor) somewhere.
    So, a text range is a data structure that defines two paragraphs and two characters. In the jargon of scripting, the character is called an "offset." An offset is simply the number of characters past the beginning of said paragraph, where 0 is the beginning.
    For example, if you want to capture the first five characters of a paragraph as a text range, you can do this, where 'pgf' is some paragraph object:
    var textRange = new TextRange();
    textRange.beg.obj = pgf;
    textRange.beg.offset = 0;
    textRange.end.obj = pgf;
    textRange.end.offset = 5;
    If you want to capture a whole paragraph, change that last line to the number of characters in the pgf, or you can do this:
    textRange.end.offset = Constants.FV_OBJ_END_OFFSET;
    ...where that constant is just some built-in thing that means "get me to the end of whatever." It's a convenience of the interface.
    I'll also note that a text range is actually just an array of two text location structures, one named 'beg' and one named 'end.' If you think of a text location as defined by paragraph and an offset from the first character, maybe that will make more sense.
    Text item structures are a whole new mess of complexity. I can't possibly go into an explanation of them here.
    I think that many ES developers (definitely myself included) still use the FDK documentation because it is considerably more comprehensive. The two interfaces are largely parallel, but of course somewhat different in the language syntax. Consider that as a potential resource.

  • How to get the IP address of a new stream?

    Can anyone tell me how to get the IP address from which a newly detected RTP stream is being sent, especially when a NewReceiveStreamEvent is posted? Or, is it possible to do so?
    Thanks in advance.

    My RTPConnector follows the example from the JMF home page here: http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/jmf/2.1.1/solutions/RTPConnector.html
    I have not done any measurement regarding the performance of my RTPConnector implementation compare to that of the default but I did find some way to deal with the bursty nature of the default RTP transmission which caused some problem with 3rd party apps that don't handle jitter well. I created a 20ms timer that acts as a gatekeeper that allows the transmitter to send RTP packets. Unfortunately Java timers aren't very precise.
    I also improved upon (I think I did anyway) the efficiency of the default (IBM) ULaw encoder as discussed here: http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=597011
    My problems with performance issues were mainly in the speed at which processors and players are created and realized on slower PC's.

  • How to get the values from table SKB1 R/3  to SRM

    Hi Gurus,
    My requirement is to get all the values from the table SKB1 to SRM (i.e. in to an internal table) for doing some validation(G/L account XXXXXX requires an assignment to a CO objectXXXXXX.)
    Like wise I have many tables for doing validation in SRM
    Help me how to get this, suggest me any Function module with sample code.
    OR
    Any Standard FM which will give all the values of the fields in the table SKB1 when I pass the key fields G/L account & company code alone so that I can improve the performance.
    Suggest me.
    Regards
    Paul

    Hi,
    You can use the FM 's META_READ_TABLE Or RFC_READ_TABLE
    Which SRM / Backend system version are you using ?
    Are you taking care of the Importing paramater - DELIMITER in this case.. ??*
    See related links ->
    Re: Retrieving data from R/3 into SRM
    Re: Product Search TIME lag
    Else you can just call the remote enabled  FM "BAPI_GL_ACC_GETDETAIL"  from SRM.

    Hi Kranthi,
    Every webdynpro component has a global controller called the component controller which is visible to all other controllers within the component.So whenever you want to share some data in between 2 different views you can just make it a point to use the component controller's context for the same. For your requirement (within your popups view context) you will have have to copy the component controllers context to your view. You then will have to (programmatically) fill this context with your desired data in this popup view. You can then be able to read this context from whichever view you want. I hope that this would have made it clear for you. Am also giving you an [example|http://****************/Tutorials/WebDynproABAP/Modalbox/page1.htm] which you can go through which would give you a perfect understanding of all this. In this example the user has an input field in the main view. The user enters a customer number & presses on a pushbutton. The corresponding sales orders are then displayed in a popup window for the user. The user can then select any sales order & press on a button in the popup. These values would then get copied to the table in the main view.

    Uday
