  • How to get IDoc number using sdata records

    Hi Experts,
    I have executed a report program in background. Its generating few IDoc's. I can view those idoc's in WE05 also. But now i want to display those idoc number in the result output of the report. One of the segment having materrial number and plant details in the IDoc. Using this details i want to display the IDoc number in the output screen. Even i have tried with EDID4 table its taking huge time to get a single IDoc. Is there is any simplest way is there to get those idoc's .
    Otherwise how to achive this?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Mohana

    Hi,
    1.)If you want the ouput in the same report program which triggers the idoc, it is better to use the control record information.
    You will get IDoc Number from XEDIDC(check the below code) and you can store the idoc number into an internal table if more idoc is expecting to be triggered.
         call function 'MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE'
              exporting
                MASTER_IDOC_CONTROL        = EDIDC
              tables
                COMMUNICATION_IDOC_CONTROL = XEDIDC
                MASTER_IDOC_DATA           = XEDIDD
              exceptions
                others                     = 5.
       read table xedidc index 1.
      append xedidc-docno to it_docno.
    And finallly use this to display in the output.
    2.) if u want it in a seperate report, then select based on date, idoctype, messagetype

  • How to get IDoc Status from WCF Service Adapter?

    I have successfully transfered a strong typed Idoc to SAP using a BizTalk WCF Service Adapter.  I did so based on this example:  [http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/library/cc185231(v=BTS.10).aspx].  We are using the IDoc to create a purchase order.  The IDocClient.Send(idoc, ref guid); method returns only a guid.  I can translate that using the SapAdpaterUtilities to a transaction ID.  When I look at the Idoc in WE02, I can see that it has status information which includes the purchase order number.  Is there any way for me to capture this status information in my .Net application when I send the IDoc?  Can I query the transaction ID?  Or do I just need to get the last PO Number through an RFC?
    Scott

    I ended up using the SAP .Net Data Provider in the Biztalk Adapter Pack to retrieve the PO Number.  Essentially when you pass the IDoc you won't get anything in return unless the file transfer fails.

    Is there a way to get the IDOC number?

  • How to get IDOC segment occurence

    Hi All,
      I am trying out IDOC to File scenario and facing a problem due to repetition of segments in IDOC.
    Requirement is to repeat the field in output file base on the segment occurance.
    i am trying to map the record set of target file structure to the most repeating segmetn in the Souce IDOC so that i can get the repetion.
    Is there any way to identify which segments repeats the most of times?
    can we map a segment to target record set in  where in we count all the segment occurance and get the most repeating segment and map it to target in udf itself.
    is there any direct function whcih can be used in UDF to map one segment to a recordset?
    Regards,
    Anika

    1. use the wiki logic on each repeating node
    2. that will give you the counts for each repeating node
    3. now write a node with each count as input
    4. check which is the maximum
    5. then use a logic as below
    assume that max_occurance variable contains the maximum repeating nodes count
    then
    for(int i = 0; i < max_occurance; i++)
    result.addValue("");
    use that UDFs output and it will create that many occurances on the target side

  • How to get IDoc Metadata and Structure without connection to sender

    Hello folks!
    Is there any chance to receive and process an IDoc with PI without having loaded the IDoc
    Metadata with a direct connection from the sending SAP System? Can't this be done by hand?
    Or is it not possible to bypass the IDoc Adapter and send the Idoc via an RFC?
    Thanks in advance
    Gunnar

    Hi!
    The idea behind the question is the following:
    Usually any NONE-SAP RFC-Server of an Integration Tool can receive IDocs just by
    beein registered at the sending system. The way you get the metadata into the
    receiving Integration tool is an complete different story an can be done by
    manually or by doneload the metadata from the DDIC just one time by hand.
    But with PI you need to connect to the sending SAP System directly
    with idx1 and by importing the structure out of the Integration Builder, right?

  • How to Get IDoc Respose

    Hi -
    I have one scenario where XI Sends IDoc to SAP and then Expects for the IDoc Response from the SAP to update some tables in XI.
    Kindly Help on How can we achieve this scenario with different Strategies
    Thanks in advance

    Configuring Acknowledgment Requests
    Use
    You use this function to define for a particular sender port and client which acknowledgments are requested from the sender.
    Procedure
    Geben ...
           1.      In the ABAP Editor (transaction SE38), under Program, enter IDX_NOALE and choose  Execute.
           2.      Enter a sender port and client.
           3.      Decide whether acknowledgments are to be requested or not for the sender port and client. Choose either Request Acknowledgment or Do Not Request Acknowledgment.
    The acknowledgments that can be requested are system error acknowledgments, application acknowledgments, and application error acknowledgments.
           4.      To display all message types that are sent using the selected sender port and client, in the Exception List frame, select Display Entries followed by  Execute.
           5.      If you want to define a different rule for a specific message type, in the Exception List frame, select Insert Message Type or Delete Message Type.
           6.      Select the relevant message type and choose  Execute.
    Sending Acknowledgment IDocs as XI Request Messages
    Use
    Acknowledgment IDocs are always converted to XI acknowledgments.
    This function enables you to send acknowledgment IDocs (ALEAUD) as XI request messages for a sender port and client.
    Procedure
           1.      In the ABAP Editor (transaction SE38), under Program, enter IDX_ALEREQUEST and choose  Execute.
           2.      Enter a sender port and a client and choose  Execute.
           3.      Enter the partner number, partner type, and partner role for the receiver and choose  Insert.
    The entry is added to the table.
           4.      To delete an entry in the table, select the entry and choose  Remove Entry.
    Result
    In the XI request message, the original sender of the acknowledgment IDoc is no longer known.
    The XI request message created is a new message. Monitoring is not able to determine which was the original message.

  • How to get inbound idoc in xi

    Hi experts,
    Please tell how to get idoc number in xi. scenario is third party-- xi-- ECC. file to idoc scenario.
    I have some mising PO in ECC side.
    Can you please tell the corresponding ioc number found in XI which is found in ECC.

    Hi,
    the IDoc no will be created in the ERP, not at PI. Therefore you cannot pick it up at PI.
    As Neethu recommended, copy instead the PI msg ID from details tab of control record and use it for msg selection at PI (SXMB_MONI)

  • How to get the error in idoc removed?

    Hi all,
    I am getting this error in inbound ORDERS "VKORG, VTWEG, SPART cannot be determined for customer PEPSICO , vendor". The help on this error says that this is automatically filled? How could the IDoc sender have given these values.. I think a user exit at my end (receiving end) can supply these values not my customer who sent this IDoc. My question is what is the exit name and is there any other way?
    Thanks a lot,
    Charles.

    Hi,
    Please try this user exits EXIT_SAPLVEDA_007 for FM IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS.

    Hello
    This can be done much easier using fm SREL_GET_NEXT_NEIGHBORS:
    Input:
    OBJECT-OBJKEY = <number of sales order>  " with leading zeros!!!
    OBJECT-OBJTYPE = 'BUS2032'
    MAX_HOPS = '01'
    Result:
    NEIGHBORS-OBJKEY = <IDoc number with leading zeros>
    NEIGHBORS-OBJTYPE = 'IDOC'
    NEIGHBORS-ROLETYPE = 'INIDOC'.
