I have iPod Touch 4G. I don't have that iCloud and iMessage Apps. How can I have them? I also have iPad2 and wants those Apps as well. Can anyone help me?

You need to update the devices to iOS 5. For iCloud onn your computer you need a Mac with OSX 10.7.2 and a PC with Vista or Win 7.

Your current iOS version is shown in Settings > General > About > Version. You can check if there is an update available for it by connecting it to your computer and selecting it on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and then on the right-hand side on the Summary tab clicking the Check For Updates button.
If there is an update, then before your start the update process first copy any purchases off the iPod to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases. You may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPod as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. OK guys, I'm ready to tear my hair out over this one. Long story slightly shorter:
1) Upgraded my 4th gen Touch to iOS6 and liked it, until I realized all of my music was gone.
2) I wiped the device and tried to restore it from iCloud, which was a complete disaster--didn't work at all.
3) Spent the last three days reloading all of my apps and getting everyhing *just right* over the air, without actually connecting to iTunes on my computer.
4) Now when I try to connect, the only options are a) set it up as a new device, presumably erasing all of my work over the past few days or b) trying to restore from the last backup, which was months ago (since I rely on iCloud for everything) and which I already know doesn't work anyway.
Is there anything I can do to get my iPod Touch connected enough NOT to sync, but to transfer photos and some videos to the device from iTunes??
I hope that this makes sense and that someone can help me! I've wasted way, way too much time on this recently and I'm almost done getting things back the way they were, but want my photos and a couple of short videos back on my iPod Touch.
PS I have both a Windows 7 laptop and a Macbook Air, and can use either and/or both as part of the process if that makes a difference. The Windows PC is the primary; I only use the Air as a client machine with iTunes Match/Dropbox/iCloud.

Just for clarification though, I wasn't ever able to restore from backup--is the fact that I connected my Touch to my PC in recovery mode the reason why my computer doesn't "realize" that the Touch has already been set up? That was the only way to get the device usable again after the failed iCloud restore attempts. I hadn't actially synced with the computer since last October though I had been able to connect to transfer photos, etc. more recently than that.
I guess the good news is that I'm totally "lean and mean" now, and ready for my new 5th gen Touch in a few weeks (hurry up with that release date Apple!). I have just 53 apps now, all on one page, instead of the roughly 300 I had before. I'm a freelance tech writer/reviewer, and I have a bad habit of letting all the apps I've reviewed sit on my device after the articles are written, even if I'm not using them. My 4th gen Touch is much faster now.

please can anyone tell me how to convert my .avi files to the format that will play on my iPod touch!
I've managed to convert a couple in iTunes but the rest of the files won't import to iTunes so I can't use that converter!
I've also tried something called MPEG streamclip but that keeps telling me there's an invalid frame rate and won't work!
Any ideas please, the only reason I bought the 32gb was so I could watch my videos!

On a MAC use iSquint to do your conversion. Get it from version tracker. It's free and fantastic. It will also convert flash (.flv) and .mov files.
One thing to remember is that the default is video scaled for the iPod Classic/video which is smaller than the iPoT. So the settings should be "Optimize for iPod" Quality "High" "H.264 Encoding" then select "advanced" enter 480 in the width and whatever pixel height is required to keep the aspect ratio the same as the original .avi movie. e.g.:
496 x 272 = 480 x 264
512 x 208 = 480 x 196
512 x 216 = 480 x 203
512 x 288 = 480 x 271
528 x 288 = 480 x 260

Hello all,
I am new to SD (and new to ABAP for that matter) so have a lot to learn. I am to write a report program to produce a list of documents containing information about commercial partners and their full address. That is to say, town, country, postal code etc... Now here is a question in three parts:
1) Where and in what table do I find address information about a commercial partner (SD module)?
2) Is there a standard function module where I can supply it with the address number and get all the address and perhaps some other info in return?
3) I tried to understand the standard SAP program (i.e. FFP2) as to how it gets the partner address and other info. But very quickly I got lost in transfers between includes, programs, screens, sub screens, function calls, etc... The program seems to read the data from some mysterious table INTO a structure and then display it on the screen. Now, for future references, how do you figure out the source of information for a screen field when the field it is mapped onto a structure and not a real table?

With the help of ADRNR, you can go to ADRC table and get all the address information you need.
If you are trying to get address for a particular partner, then 1st get the ADRNR for that partner from VBPA and then go & check in ADRC table.

I have not backed up my photos on the ipod because I usually charge it using a wall charger rather than connecting it to iTunes. There is no such setting. You'll need the help of a third party app to do this for you, but even those aren't always very accurate.
