How can I get my flashdrive to read & download files using apple ipad camera connection kit

Hi sorry I meant photo and video files The strange thing is that on my ipad one I used to be able to plug the flash into the USB CCKit & voila
But now I get error popups saying requires too much power??????
I have 6 flashdrives & I bought 2 new Sandisk8gb& the other 16gb I have formatted the derives to fat 32 using disc utility & put a DCIM folder inside with photos & videos in the DCIMfolder which is exactly what I did for my 1st ipad BUTAll I get is popups saying about too much power ???
Can anyone help me out as to why this is happening & how I can fix this annoying problem

I have photos imported on my iPad with the camera connection kid, i.e. directly copying photos from the camera to the iPad in my vacation.
Now at home, I want to get these photos from the iPad on my desktop (iMac). I use Aperture for syncing, but also in iPhoto I did not manage. The problem is that the photos I have so imported on the iPad can be there found in the "Photo Library" album, while the "Camera roll" album includes the regular iPad Photos. The Camera Roll is visible in Aperture (and iPhoto) for importing as soon as I connect the iPad to the iMac and Aperture (iPhoto) is opened. But I cannot find the Photo Library with all the photos copied in my vacation...
How can I import those?

Photos that were imported via the camera connection kit should be treated in the same way as those taken with the iPad in terms of copying them off : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083
If that doesn't work then there are third-party apps such as Simple Transfer (which has a free lite version called Simple Photo & Video Transfer) which can copy them off via your wifi network.

I'm a little confused by the question, but it sounds like you're asking how to count the number of files with a particular extension in a given directory? That's not really an AI SDK question, but it's a fairly easy one to find if you google it. If you're trying to use Illustrator to do it, AI doesn't have a general purpose file API. It has a few functions to do some things that Illustrator needs, but I don't think enumerating directories is one of them.

You cannot get the InputStream of the uploaded file directly. The InputStream you can obtain from request.getInputStream() contains a lot of other data as well as the uploaded file. You will have to parse the data in the InputStream to find the data that belongs to the file.
A short cut is to use the HTTP Multipart File Upload available from www.jenkov.com. It simplifies file upload and makes it easy to obtain an InputStream for only the uploaded file. It also handles upload of multiple files. It is free, open source, Apache license, so if it doesn't fit your needs, you can always read the code and see how it works. Then write your own upload servlet.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to get the full path of a document in a list workflow.
You can set the variable to the Enconded Absolute URL of the document. The screenshot is my testing. In my testing (in the red area), when the title of a document was equal to the tile of the current item, set a variable to the Enconded Absolute URL of the
document. I used ‘Log to history list’ to check the value of the variable in Workflow History .

Long hold on the document in mail and it should give you the open in... option, select adobe reader and the file is now saved locally for viewing even while offline.

I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve, could you please elaborate?
Do you want to load all the styles from one document into all 100 documents, or do you want all the styles from the 100 documents into 1 document or what is the goal?
The following will let you choose a folder of files, open each of the files in it and import the styles from source document. It is not a complete script, make sure to test and modify before running on anything else than test files :-)

you cannot download a file directly to a client. If this is a requirement then you need a signed Java Applet to handle the download. Otherwise a download dialog is opened for the user to define where to store the file.
